The price was great, but they do not accept credit cards so instead of outright purchasing the instrument in full, I financed it through a financing company they obviously promote at a high interest rate for I was going to pay it off next month or two anyway. With that said, I just received a notice, October 18th via email that my order has been cancelled due to no inventory. So now I probably have to deal with this Financing company while my order has been cancelled. Very frustrating for I was really looking forward to this instrument. I would not recommend doing business with this company

I had only been in the store about ninety seconds when I overhear a guy nearly buying a Kay Speed Demon guitar. Now just having one to look at is pretty great, but this one was also for sale. You could, given a couple hundred, just walk out with that baby and be cutting a demo before dark. (They really respect the mongrel, here, by which I mean the instrument as well as the customer. Dan "Loving Ohio From a Distance" Auerbach used to wander around the shop hoping to get noticed... I mean "shopping." Yeah, shopping. He's one of those snobbishly anti-snobbery guitar guys, who fetishize the crappy guitars their blues gods played, while playing them through a quarter million dollars worth of effects and electronics.) But enough about success. Found a vintage Fender volume/tone pedal. Well, that just had to go home with me. Bought a couple other things. Time was, there was a great shop like this every ten blocks or so in every city in Uh Murh Cuh Now? "Bro! Just buy that on-line." Right. Buy a guitar, without playing it? Buy an amp, without hearing it? Good luck with that plan, Mr. Malmsteen. They do consignments, too, which is a great way to either upgrade or downgrade your studio, bandroom or man cavity. These guys deserve your business. They sure helped me, and I'll bet they will help you. While we were there, I overheard a drummer, tired from being ridiculed by other musicians, decide to change instruments. Guy goes up to the sales counter and says, "I'll take that red trumpet over there, and that accordion." I have had two "noteworthy" - no pun intended being a music store- experiences with Pellegrino…read moreMusic. Most recently, I bought a new (used) piano. I began my search at Pellegrino, because they have a large selection of used pianos. I came upon the Kawai model and knew it was the piano I really wanted. Turns out, Pellegrino had sold it as a new piano in the 1990s, and was now consignmenting it for the original owners. The instrument was in excellent condition, and their price was fair. Pellegrino also agreed to take and dispose of my old piano. Totally enjoying my new instrument. There was a significant problem, however, with delivery. I had measured my old piano, the space where it was going in my home, and my door frame. The "new" one was within an inch of the old piano size wise. There shouldn't have been any issue with delivery. The team they sent could not manage the weight of the piano, and almost dropped it ! Very thankfully, I was having new furniture delivered that same day, and the deliverymen from the furniture company actually were the ones who successfully brought the piano into my house. The men from Pellegrino did not even thank the furniture movers for their help. When I went back to Pellegrino shortly after delivery (to buy some sheet music) I informed the owner in person of what had happened with delivery. I got no response - not an apology or any sense of concern. I would have given five stars without the delivery hitch. It would have been four stars if the owner had taken some responsibility for what happened. It makes me wonder what would have happened if the piano had actually been damaged by their delivery team. So, overall, I am thrilled and pleased with the piano, but the customer service/delivery is disappointing. We also had previously rented/leased to own my daughter's clarinet through Pellegrino when she in middle school band. This was a totally successful experience, and we even upgraded to a better instrument as my daughter's skill level and dedication increased.
