Boscov's in Bensalem is an amazing store! Last week while visiting in NJ, I shopped at the store and was amazed at the selection of clothing, shoes and household items. I had purchased several items that I couldn't find elsewhere. Their clothing is great quality. I had shopped this store for over 10 years before moving to VA. The department stores in VA are horrible compared to Boscov's. I would love for Boscov's to open a store in VA. I deducted 1 star because they need more cashier. Many of the cashier stations didn't have anyone working there. read more

Kristin at the clinic counter is absolutely wonderful and so attentive and caring and knowledgeable. I'm thrilled to have her help me find the right foundation. And the guide me along the huge selection of moisturizing creams. I'm an absolute heaven with everything I purchased today. And I'm very lucky I came during a gift with purchase. ! The turnaround cream that I bought is absolutely lovely. My skin feels so soft and I'm happy. Along with my gift, came a Nice sized squeeze container of body lotion! I absolutely absolutely love it! I cannot believe I've never written a review about Boscov's. This is my "local" Boscov's but I've been to a few other locations as well. This one is located in the Neshaminy mall and has been for many years. If you are still looking for a true department store this is it! They have two floors with the downstairs being all clothing for men and women as well as a fairly large seasonal section - my fave ! The upstairs has kids clothing, housewares and a candy counter ! I love the old school flair that Boscov's has but they also have some really trendy and cute pieces as well! They have a great sports clothing section, their beauty counter has classics and they do really well with a lot of current trends! I'm always able to score a lot of great gifts here - Christmas is my favorite time to go! Their prices are pretty great and they're usually offering some sort of sale but generally speaking you won't have to pay full retail! The staff here is always nice and there are plenty of them around to help you. Definitely a gem that I hope never closes. Shopping in a department store is such an elite experience and Boscov's is always busy so they must be doing something right ! read more

Store was huge and I had many issues finding assistance to help me navigate to the isles and items that I needed. I came in for a pair of sneakers for my daughter, along with some things she needed for Girl Scouts and I had the hardest time trying to make it through the store. It literally took me like 30 minutes to walk up and down the store and up the escalators to find someone to assist me. Seems like they didn't have enough employees working to help. When I finally found the shoe department, I was just there waiting for someone to help me get another size shoe for the longest time ever! By this point I was irritated, my daughter was antsy and I was just about to leave my items on the shelf and leave the store. Finally someone came out from the back and we got some help. Waited some more time for the guy to come back with another size and then we could finally pay. This was the longest shopping trip ever. I did like the prices of the sneakers I bought for my daughter and the price of the Girl Scout Vest, but the wait for customer service help and looking for someone was agonizing and took way too much time. read more

Now I know why I have not shopped at Boscov's for years. Trying to pay for your purchase is ridiculously too long. Prices may be amazingly great for what you get... however standing in line to pay for that purchase is not worth my time. just starting off this i went in here around 3 days ago and there was a lady in a black gown looking thing she was really rude and i saw her yelling at a family of 4 because there were no test strips for the purfume counter they were near the Versace perfume they sprayed it in the air and the lady came around and said very rude words in a rude tone to possibly because they didn't see any test strips and they looked so dissatisfied and plus she told me to wait a minute in a rude tone when i asked her to grab me a perfume behind the counter 0/10 do NOT come here there was Litteral trash everywhere they are so unclean i used to come here back in the day never have i seen a lady this rude at any Boscov's i went to and i have seen her there multiple times im surprised there isent a shopper that sees how these employees act grown woman acting like a 12 year old that is not okay do better i WILL be going to deptfords boscovs for now read more

This was my first time at Boscov's. It definitely feels like a bit of a time warp, and the customers seemed to skew, uh, a bit older. But it's actually a pretty well kept store with a wide range of merchandise. I was looking for curtains, and was surprised to find a sizable drapery section with lots of options and reasonable prices. After striking out at several other stores, I found something I liked here. I hate doing this, I love Boscov's, I know it's a dying breed. Covid Christmas, I shop early. Order all the underware, socks and gloves for the my husband and son's. Almost a month it still hasn't shipped. I can't get in touch with anyone call the local box store they can't do anything with on line orders. Wait, I'm not done. I ordered eight strands of net lights. It gets delivered but only six delivered. On Monday I check my bank transactions , I see they took the money for the eight sets of lights out and it cleared on Friday. However they were charging me AGAIN and it was pending, I tried to get in touch with anyone at Boscov's again without success ( spent two hours!) I had know recourse but to get my bank to deny the second transaction. NIGHTMARE! I hope someone from corporate reads these and reacts. BUYER BE AWARE!! read more

This store never disappoints....EVER ! I have been shopping here for over two decades and I will and have told everyone that this is a brick and mortar store that everyone needs I gave them a five stare rating cause that's the highest rating allows but they are double that for sure. BOSCOV's's has everything clothes from infants to men's and woman's plus sizes the merchandise is always well stocked and put away they have name brand merchandise there shoe department is always kept neat and stocked in fact, the whole store is like that . Ladies I want you to go and have a pleasant shopping experience where you can have a cart to hold your.items, you can feel the material on your clothing the intimate department is fully stocked there is a nice jewelry department as well as a men's dept from jeans to suits all affordable. They have beds furniture lamps small appliance behind everything Walmart has but oh so much better quality. I lived here till I was in my early 30's and now live in Hagerstown MD and travel to Frederick MD to shop at BOSCOV's I have always had a pleasant experience the staff is always helpful and friendly even on crazy sale days ( the prices are good to begin with and the sales are great) and holidays! If I could give this store a 0 I would. They have the worst customer service of any store. I ordered a pair of gloves online and they charged me tax. There is no sales tax in NJ on clothing items. I called and waited for 40 minutes before I got someone. She could not help me and transferred me and I waited another 55 minutes before I got someone. This person assured me that they would adjust my price. I am still waiting for them to take the tax off the item. I will not be shopping with them anymore. The prices may be good, but the customer service is awful. read more

The Optical department at Boscov's Deptford is a hazard. I've been wearing glasses for 40 years and this is by far the worst experience ever. It took me 3 months to get them to make my glasses correctly. I got two pair, and both pair were done incorrectly. The lenses were reversed. I was so frustrated with returning them that finally I removed all the extras and asked for a simple basic pair of glasses. Both prescriptions were done the same, all extras removed, but I was still made to pay for my initial order with extras even though they couldn't manage to complete my order satisfactory. Now my problem is that one pair will not come clean. Seems to be a residue. I've tried cleaning with every safe cleaner and my lenses won't come clean. Never again. read more

What happened to Boscov's? I know I've been gone a long time. I shopped at Boscov's around the time when they closed their Ports stores and converted them. They cared. Today, I went into a couple of Boscov's, as I did last year about this time. I couldn't believe the change. There were boxes where people should have been able to walk, and it was tough to find someone to finish a sale at a register. Many of the prices seemed better than when I used to shop, but if those prices mean that they don't have enough staff to sell them, why bother staying open? I managed to buy something but I stepped away from the register 3 separate times, in order to let other people go ahead of me. The employee who handled the transaction was friendly and efficient, but I wonder if the company isn't a problem for itself. read more

This place is a hidden gem. You kind of forget it is there. Or at least I do. They have a lot of really good sales on their clothes. I got a pair of shorts, a pair of capris, a shirt and 2 bras for $100. They were pretty good quality too. Their clothes section is huge. I wish they had more baskets. If you go on a weekend it is almost impossible to get one. The employees are nice enough also. I will definitely continue to shop here. read more

Highly disappointed. I was visiting my family and this is always a stop during my trip for over 10 years. This store has great finds and for 200.00 I could fill my car early. Unfortunately, the customer service has gone down tremendously. I heard a customer speaking to an older lady, Marie? Maria? in the bedding department as he was simply trying to make a purchase. He was completely disrespected and advised to go to another register. His daughter was present and spoke up but honestly, I was embarrassed for them. I'm not sure what the cashier's problem was but it's totally not acceptable. I should note there was no one on line as she just completed the transaction of another customer. He had 1 item. Kudos to that daughter. Management, I advise you to train your staff on professionalism because if going to check out at a register is problematic I guarantee you'll lose sales. I have to be honest and say I wasn't aware Boscov's was still open. I was shopping for a recliner and my in laws suggested. I stopped by Boscov's yesterday after and exhausting search for a nice recliner. The store is awfully congested and seems a bit unorganized. I went to various furniture stores with no luck. I absolutely hate going to furniture stores as the salespeople won't leave you alone. Anyway, I found the perfect recliner at the perfect price at Boscov's. The sales people were great and didn't hassle me, they even offer delivery for a $49.00 fee. I will be picking my new recliner up in 3-5 days. Solid 4 stars.. read more

I like a lot of the clothes and jewelry there; I found a lot of cute things. The reason why I am not giving it 5 Stars is because it was 8:15/8:30 PM when my Mom, Nana, and I checked out (the store closes at 9:30 PM, so it's not like they were about to close), and we approached a woman in the women's department, who was near her register. She had another female employee with her; who just stood there watching her ring up our items. This cashier did NOT greet us, and after rung up everything, was like "Is that it?" (I assume because she saw my items in the cart that I was buying separately, as well as my Nana's items in a separate shopping cart that she was also buying on her own). My Mom said Yes, and then she paid. Next, it's my turn, I gave a cheerful "HELLO, how are you?" And the cashier responds. Now the other cashier goes to help her package my items. The one packaging my stuff practically throws my bag at me. Finally, it's my Nana's turn. Keep in mind, there's no one behind us, and each of us rung up probably 4 items each... I SWEAR I hear the one packaging the clothes mumble to the cashier "Why didn't they all ring it up together?" They both had SUCH attitudes. I got a 15% off coupon for my Birthday and let me tell you how disappointing it is when you can't use the coupon in the Home department . I think it's stupid that it's only allowed to be used in domestics. Plus I should have gotten more off than 15% for my birthday. Very Disappointed with this store. This coupon is supposed to be used for a Birthday but it was denied due to it only being allowed in Domestics. This coupon should be changed to be allowed for any Department. I'm generally not a fan of department stores, but I have grown to really like Boscov's. And for those that don't know, Boscov's offers a no-hassle military and veteran discount. Just go to customer service and show them your veterans card, or military ID and they'll give you a slip of paper good for 15% off your purchase for the day. You can get this every single time you go to the store. I have saved hundreds and hundreds of dollars using this on everything from furniture to clothing. read more

I have to stop at Boscov's when I am in the mall, it is a reasonably priced department store. It is a mecca for the older-lady community but hey, I can deal. The one thing I like about this store is you can smell the perfumes on the counter without them bombarding you, like they do at Macys down the mall. I come in this store for inexpensive, good quality clothes or gifts. I did have one expirence here where the employee told me rudely they did not make a size of a tshirt I wanted, but came back a week or so later to find the size I originally wanted, but other then that I never had a problem with their service. If the auditorium is open, be sure to check it out they always have neat things in there. read more

Went here just to look around on Saturday 19, 2015. Nasty, RUDE STAFF!! Bought 2 purses ... The first cashier said she couldn't help us because she had to put clothes back on the rack. The second cashier acted like we were bothering her, she kept giving a bad attitude and when we asked her the prices for our items again she said "I TOLD YOU........." I spoke with the manger, Kristen, who stated who she would go "observe" them but she offered nothing other than a weak apology. The treatment by the store employees on this visit makes me never want to go here again. I would advise to avoid this store at all costs. I know I will never go here again. My mother has been doing business with Boscoves for over Ten (10) years. Cloths sheets cookwhere Ect. Well my mother bought 3 single beds from them from the Bensalem location with A 10 TEN YEAR WARRANTY. Well now all 3 are after (1) ONE year are showing signed of gully's in the middle causing severe back pain. Boscoves ent out a rep and said they would replays only (1). My mom wrote them a letter saying she never do business on this end of then ever again. However I told her go to the BBB And see what they can do, but she's not a fighter. I'm 30 I know the yelp(pen) is MIGHTIER THAN THE SWORD!!!!!!!! So shame on you Boscoves. It may benefit you to stay away from bedding..... read more
