This Walmart is the worst. I limit my trips there to only a few times a year and I stock up on what I need so I don't need to go back. Today it was very frustrating at self check out! There were more closed registers than open and the line stretched pretty far. I inquired why they had so many registers broken. They actually were working, they were just shut off because they had only one person monitoring the whole area. It's the Friday before Easter! How do they have only one person working self check out? The store itself is okay... just ok. But if you are a Walmart+ member and you place an order that happens to be scheduled for "delivery from store" from the Horizon Blvd Walmart location then good luck. My experience is that 1 out of 3 orders are simply either cancelled or put in a "delayed" status. And once put in "delayed" status, it's unlikely that your order will ever be fulfilled. It'll be stuck in "delayed" status indefinitely and you'll have to waste time on Walmart's chat or on the phone to get the order cancelled. The manager at this location needs retraining, -period (or better yet, he/she should NOT be a manager). read more

Shopped this store today and had a bad experience. While walking through the grocery aisle I saw an associate with braids strolling along-he was as high as a kite and was touching himself. I walked by and remember thinking- yikes not good. Had the occasion to pass him again a few minutes later and again I could see by his eyes he was stoned out of his head and again rubbing himself. This is like any other Walmart store, they have the same types of things that you need for your home, school, clothing, toys, electronics, etc. This is also supposed to be a super Walmart with fruits, veggies and food and they don't have that much to choose from when it comes to groceries, but I don't usually shop at Walmart for groceries, so its not a big deal to me. Customer service is crap here and the employees are no where to be found, which is kinda usual for Walmart stores. Lines are so long, and there is always a cluster at the check outs. read more

Cleaner and better stocked than the Philly Walmarts. But many of the employees are just as nasty. On average, any Walmart has the lowest prices for almost everything they sell, often lower than the sale prices at other stores. The neighborhood is gorgeous and there are hundreds of great nearby stores even though many others have closed due to COVID. Traffic is usually decent except during rush hour. But two stars removed due to the poor customer service expected at any Walmart and experienced here. read more

I came here today for the first time In a while and it was so stressful trying to find a parking spot and also stressful because the checkout lines were so long . They definitely need more workers at this location and need more items on their shelves. I don't like this location but since it is the closest I came here. i've been shopping at Walmart for a long time doing Home delivery for a long time from numerous stores. I'm actually changing from Walmart to Amazon fresh due to this stores neglect on my Home delivery. I ordered my food for an 8 AM -10am delivery it never showed up nor did I receive any emails that they were short on drivers or running late I had to call the customer service line 3 times and got a different answer every time and they said it would be by the end of the day it never showed up then I had to try to get my money back and it took because of the system 7 to 10 days to put back the hold money on my credit card. and I was already on the fence of leaving Walmart delivery due to the way they package the stuff in the bags. They just throw it in. It's poor produce selection in the drivers they re-bag everything to make it easier for them to walk up to the door, which I can understand, but they're bagging it so heavy you can't even pick up the bags and they throw it at the door supposed to lay it down so based on this Walmart, I'll just move onto Amazon fresh read more

Don't waste your time returning anything here. Not one person in front of me as well as myself was able to return an item while waiting in the usual walmart return line. After waiting for 45 minutes, the stupid lady with the glasses wouldn't take my return even though I had a receipt and recently purchased an item from another walmart location in Philly. She's either missing brain cells or is too lazy to actually do work. She didn't make much of an effort to look up the item. I hope she gets fired! read more

Full disclosure - I am not a Walmart fan, nor do I enter their warehouse-sized stores very often. Given the alternatives available for discount shopping, the guys from Arkansas are on the bottom of my list. Still, when I needed to pick up a quick pair of glasses to replace the expensive ones my stepson lost somewhere, Walmart was the place to go, as their vision centers offer inexpensive prescription glasses and relatively fast turn around time. In fact, we walked in shortly before they were to close their in house nook, and were taken care of promptly by one of the white coat people. We were able to shop for frames, take eye measurements, and pay for the pair in about 20 minutes. Lens to be ground and framed within a week. Under $100, compared to the boutique price the first time around when I was willing to be generous, thinking the glasses would not be misplaced within a month of purchase. My bad! While in the store we walked over to the electronics department to check out phone chargers (another lost item by stepson), plus another for the office. Found the prices to be about the same as online, but surprisingly few options for our Apple and Motorola mobiles. There was only one sales associate in the department, and she was helping another customer find something, while a queue formed at her register. We were not the only customers to decide not to wait. I felt a little unclean and hypocritical spending money in Walmart, but this was a semi-emergency. To be fair, the vision center handled us well, and seemed dedicated to customer service. read more

The last two times my husband went to purchase items he was accused of not paying for all his items. He does not like self checkout and always goes to a cashier. When he is leaving the lady at the door yells Sir you didn't pay for all your things. He asked her how is that possible ? I went to a cashier here is my receipt. The security guard came over and started saying the same thing. My husband said same thing happened last week when I was here. Then customer service lady comes over to see what is going on. Lady was busy harrassing an old couple who was behind my husband in line checking their whole cart with security while a man with hoodie and two big bags just walks right out no questions asked. So my husband says maybe you should question him he didn't even have a receipt. Security didn't like that. My second favorite Walmart to shop at! They always keep good a good stock of items, and rarely run out of things like other Walmarts. Being just out of the city, it's worth an extra 10 minute drive for groceries, since I save money not paying the ludicrous soda taxes on my juices and vitamin water. Staff is very friendly and helpful, and they have a good outdoor selection. There can be some riff raff in the store, as is evident by the fact that the baby formula is up front, not in the baby section like it is in some other Walmarts outside of the city. read more

I would Love to thank the amazing Cashiers and their team. Megan was moving us along in the self checkout. There was also a young African American woman. I wish I had gotten their names. I left $40.00 in the self checkout. I couldn't get anyone by phone, but decided to go back and give it a try, after I was done at dinner. This happened at 5:45 PM today. I went back 2 hours later. The Supervisor who it was returned to put it aside for me. The employees went out of their way to track it down and returned my $40 to me. Thank God for honest people. Love this store! Clean, well stocked, almost EVERY LINE OPEN!!!!! I live less than a mile from the Walmart in Franklin Mills and I drive up here because hands down, it's 1000 times nicer, cleaner, better stocked with managers actually ON the floor directing traffic, helping customers, opening more lines...and the clientele is much nicer as well. First of all, I barely go into a Walmart because I don't enjoy the experience when I do. Second, where is the PRODUCE! Does anybody eat fruits and veggies here?! Don't ever take your car here. They are dishonest and take up way more of your time than they should. I made the mistake of buying my tires here and now I'm stuck coming back for my free rotations. EVERY single time they mess it up. EvERY single time they lose the evidence that I bought my tires there. This time I paid extra for an oil change that included vacuum and window cleaning. This morning was the second time that I have roamed through this store. Within the past week, I have had two adult men's birthday parties to attend. One was last Saturday night and he turned 50 and it was a gala affair, therefore a gala gift. Tomorrow evening I am attending a much smaller affair at a family restaurant. Now, if you knew Bob, you would understand why gag gifts are the only way to go. Once invited, it did not take two seconds to know what his gifts would be. Later this afternoon, I will be picking up the other gift. I did find the SpongeBob Square Pants gift bag, that I wanted. The card selection leaves a lot to be desired and I passed. The gift that I needed here was the movie "What About Bob? I have often teased him that he reminds me of the Bob in this movie and he swears he has never seen it. So I was on a quest to find this old movie. While going through the store towards Electronics, I went through the movies along the way, that were greatly discounted. I will give them this, they have a huge selection and their prices can not be beat. Upon looking forward, I got a bit intimidated when I saw the rows of videos, so I stopped at the desk and asked if they categorized all of the movies they have in stock, in their computer. He said yes, looked it up for me and pointed to the big huge bin of $5.00 DVDs and said there is one left. Picture the largest circular bin, 4 feet high, several feet wide and loaded with DVDs just thrown in there and then call the paramedics, because I am going in! I had my shopping cart and as I went through them, I placed the overflow into the cart. Anytime someone would approach the bin to go through it, I gave them my best evil eye and they took off! A good hour later there was not one copy of What About Bob? The bin was as neat as a pin and as I walked away, the on lookers dived in. I just thought to myself, I do not know how much Walmart pays per hour, but surely I was on camera with my mad search and if and when I do return to this store, that bin had better look the way I left it! read more

I called the auto center to see if they had a specific battery that i was looking for and the man over the phone had a whole attitude with me for no reason and hung up the phone i called back again and a lady answered, told me they had they jetski battery that i was looking for i asked a couple of times if she's sure it was that and she said yes. Drove out of my way with the wave runner attached to my truck to only find out it was the wrong battery that she found and they didn't have the right one. read more

If only he would order Best Maid/Del-Dixie pickles. Theses pickles ,relishes and jalapeno condiments are famous throughout the south west portion of our country. Mr.Manager I did notice you brought in other Texas Items in the condiment section. How about it ? Next time you are thinking of going to the movies to see a horror flick, save yourself $15.00 and visit the Bensalem Walmart. Scariest place on earth. This place has definitely taken a nosedive in the past few years. It use to be a lot better. An assortment of beyond creepy clientele. I haven't met all of the staff, but the ones I had the misfortune of meeting are overly nasty, especially some of the greeters. I don't even know how some of them got jobs. This place was never like that before. Will never set foot in this place again. I ran out the last time I was there. I've been to other Walmarts and they are much better than this one. read more
