You've seen 1 Costco, you've pretty much seen them all, in terms of store layout, it seems. But, I like the ample parking all around the building and the gas station with prices that are lower than the surrounding stations, at this location. It's nice to stock up on non-perishables to avoid having to shop for those items all the time. And, the black card has really paid for itself with the cash back on our purchases alone. I've heard their vacation prices are pretty good, also. The staff here are helpful, pleasant, and on their business, for the most part. read more

While convenient, this Costco is located in a high-density area. On weekends, both the parking lot and inside are packed. The lot is poorly designed in a compact space, leading to fender benders - I've seen at least two near misses on each visit. Frustratingly, there are NEVER enough registers open given the large volume of customers on weekends. I stand in line on average 10-15 minutes per visit. From now on, I am traveling to the Montgomeryville Costco. The lot is bigger, lines are nominal and it appears to be somewhat better managed with fewer angry employees arguing with one another in front of customers. read more

I needed air in my tires. There is a special parking space reserved specifically for air. However, I did not know how to use it or even how to fill my tires. Then there was "Cory" from the auto dept to the rescue. He was so patient and so helpful and taught me how to use the machine (which being blonde, I will probably just ask again the next time anyway). I appreciated his kindness and his help in filling my tires. He was awesome. This entire Costco has friendly staff, fast check outs, clean and well stocked. They do it well! Never buy a refrigerator from Costco. They cant install it unless the water line shut off is 3 feet from the refrigerator. Thy will demand you spend 300.00 on a plumber to install a now line. The plumber said this is unnecessary as the lines are compatible and the shut off is easily accessible in the basement, Costco offered no support at all. read more

I like the stores, products and selection. I loved that they recently opened one near my office. Staff is always helpful. I don't like that they don't allow two people that don't live together to be on a membership. You have to have the same address. It isn't worth it for me as I live alone and don't need many things in bulk. I hope one day they change that policy. So for now I'll go when I can, on a weekend, with my boyfriend. This COSTCO location is awesome! They have gas at an amazing price and the store is huge! I live near the Montgoneryville location and that's my go to store but when they are out of something, this location usually has it. Last night I went to Montgoneryville to purchase a Weber grill and it was out of stock. I also wanted done King Crab legs , also out of stock. I drove to Warminster and they had 3 grills and about 15 packs of King Crab legs ! I got my grill and I got crabs , a successful trip! read more

Costco is the warehouse store with something for everyone. Launched a few years ago in Warminster, this location has gained tremendous popularity. It's parking lot is now always busy, with a constant turnover of spaces and carts. Inside, the service people-- although not abundant-- are always helpful and knowledgeable. Returns are quick, and adjustments, when needed, seem fair for the consumer. Quality new food items are often test marketed for limited times, so be sure to stock up if you find something you really like. Samples are available for those products being introduced, and are unlimited for the numerous "grazers" in the crowd. read more

It's a Costco, and if you don't know about Costco by now please look elsewhere to learn more. This review is specific to the warminster, pa store. Again I'll say it's a Costco so there's a lot to like. BUT I've about had it with this location. First of all, they have rows of shelves perpendicular to the check out lines so there's not enough room for people to properly queue up at a register. The lines at the registers have to go to either side of the perpendicular row of shelves, and those two lines sometimes go most of the way to the back of the store. This consistently causes two problems: (1) people still shopping need to cross through the lines of people queuing for checkout. This hardly goes well and causes problems for everyone. And (2) because there are two long lines that fan out to (usually) more than two checkout registers I've seen arguments break out as people might not be aware there are two lines, and/or they just feel entitled to a certain register line and are willing to argue or fight for it. I've seen this a number of times and was even confronted once (thankfully that time an employee intervened in my defense). To make matters worse, lately an employee hovers in the checkout area, but instead of being helpful they try to upsell you to a more expensive membership. I think greed had them put in too many perpendicular isles so close to the registers, and now more greed layers more annoyance on top of the bad logistics. Normally the shopping carts are put in the vestibule for shoppers to grab on their way in. Now the vestibule is full of plants so they filled the sidewalks with the shopping carts. So what? Well with the sidewalks now full of carts people need to walk in traffic to get to the store entrance. I just watched an elderly couple come within inches of being hit by someone who was looking to the side to find a parking spot rather than looking for pedestrians forced to walk in traffic. Sure, that's an isolated incident but it happens frequently. I heard a man complain to an employee that he was almost hit because the parking lot is now very dangerous and the employee was nonchalant in replying that they only do this for seasonal things when they need the space. So more greed puts customers at risk, and the survivors get to fight the checkout lines while navigating the store, then fight each other while trying to check out, then hopefully make it safely to their car without getting hit. At its heart, it's a Costco, but this particular one is grossly mismanaged putting sales over customer safety and experience. read more

Lack of staff to assist people in the aisles... had to call the store to speak to an administrator and even she didn't know where it was that I was asking for Sunkist Raisins and Pollo Ricotta. Then she came back to the phone and started saying by the freezers....I could find either so I went up to the front and asked a worker working self checkout and he said the end of aisle 301. Guess what not there. My legs are numb from all the walking around the store that if workers were on the floor my questions could be answered and I would have left an hour ago....so very sad read more

This was my first visit to a Costco, and I was duly overwhelmed and even impressed. Our neighbor is a member and came along with the secret password and handshake. These are mega warehouses where most things are offered in bulk, whether you actually need that much quantity or not. Clothing to HDTVs, tires to industrial strength pancake mix, and everything in between. At the end of almost every aisle, free samples of food being sold nearby; so if hungry, you can graze your way from appetizers to dessert, and add the savings from lunch (although I hear the hot dogs in the cafe are very good) to the overall value. Even though my household isn't big enough to warrant purchasing on this scale, I found myself seduced by the sheer magnitude of the offerings. I soon took leave of my senses, disregarded the reality that we just couldn't eat all the food while it was fresh at the scale it was displayed, and began to think that the lower price would save money despite the fact that it would become outdated in the pantry. What a perverse incentive! Buy more than you need and convince yourself that the lower cost per unit is saving you money, when the exact opposite is true. Money is wasted getting marginally useful or taking flyers on stuff you really don't need or are unlikely to consume in a timely manner. The cupboard will be full of things you won't believe you were crazy enough to buy after the intoxication wears off. I don't know about you, but I spent way more than I do in a normal shopping trip, yet still found we needed to go to the local supermarket for all the things Costco didn't have. Knocked our budget out of whack. Why? So I saved a little on a huge box of Cheerios that will take six months to finish; the last half of which will be stale. Or, for two years worth of ketchup, the last bottle of which will have separated and taste like crapchup by the time I open it. But, I saved a buck over buying only when ready to use it. Right?! Wrong! The only way this works efficiently for consumers is to go after eating a big meal, skipping all the free samples, and being disciplined with a list of the things it makes sense to buy at Costco, and NOTHING ELSE. Wear blinders. Don't browse. Don't allow temptation to seduce. Run in. Run out. Otherwise, like the poor Ulysses, you will fall victim of the Siren sweetly singing, just like I did. Poor soul. I was looking for a product that I knew was on sale, but another location of Costco was out of. I was spinning my wheels around where I thought it would be, but the staff member directed me in the right direction. I was really glad to find the device! I do wish that Costco did self-checkout and online order for pickup, like Sam's Club does. This was my first time at Costco. I had bought the membership online in 12/20 but with covid i put off going. When i went today i was directed to the membership desk to obtain my member card. While standing in line i had my first encounter with a Costco employee by the name of Gary. Absolutely great customer service all around. I told him how i bought the member ship almost a year prior and he even renewed my expiration date to 8/22 so i didn't just lose a year. He really was just a kind and cared about the customer. I watched him with other customers and it was consistent. I received my member card and went on to shopping. Every encounter i had with an employee from beginning to end was amazing. I get it. It's Costco. But I gotta say, they've stepped up their game. More managers on the floor, super helpful. Gone are the days of just sorta wandering around muttering to myself "where'd they put the dog treats this week " I had an old expired rebate which, initially, the cashier was kind of a jerk about. But management stepped in, were very nice and told me what I needed to do (call Citibank ) who told me it was Costco's problem to resolve. I called Costco ,someone answered right away and they were, once again, very helpful. Went back today and Tristan cheerfully helped me and we got it resolved. I've spent, literally probably over $10,000 at Costco over the years. It's nice to see they're vying to improve and solidify customer service. read more

We visit Costco at least once per week, and we are huge fans. This store is incredibly well run. If you know who's who, then you will be impressed to see managers working along side store associates. We have personally seen managers making prepared foods and filling containers, baking in the bakery, assisting in the butcher shop and straightening merchandise on the shelves. The store is clean and well-organized, and the associates are easy to find and unfailingly helpful. Our only quibbles with this location are that sometimes the bagged greens have nearly expired dates and the fresher merchandise is inaccessible and that it needs more buggy corrals. read more

I love everything about Costco. I never have to question the quality of the merchandise. I get everything from prime ribeye to sneakers here and I have never had one complaint. The only complaint I could possibly have (and there is nothing they can do about this) is that Costco's in other states have fantastic deals on beer and spirits. However my wife recently went shopping to the Costco at Warminister and was grossly mistreated and disrespected by a cashier called Widya and her manager Gary. They were very unprofessional and dismissive. Costco needs to train its employees on customer service so that they treat everyone equally and without bias. In optical I was told that my prescription was wrote incorrectly, upon checking with my doctor, turned out that Costco sales person didn't read the prescription correctly. I went in this evening to become a member and was treated with complete disrespect at the customer service counter, by a rude kid behind the counter. He asked me to pull up my mask above my nose, and I did however I have a confirmed medical condition. I had to occasion pull up to breath and he told me that doesn't work. I have recently relocated to PA. and he said I need proof of change of address, then as he had my license in potentially infected hands, he then went and said what's your email address DUDE....That was the breaking point I asked for my license and asked for a manager. The manager didn't handle my concern with complaint, just got yeah he shouldn't have done that. Here I was there to join and spend money for the upcoming months/years that I will be living down the road. I am a professional business man that treats others with respect, and today Costco had an opportunity to add another customer but actually lost one. There are thousands of items sold in bulk, as well as some good deals on food, electronics, and clothes. Most recently, I noticed a Marc Jacobs leather jacket. Huh? I often will purchase some food, nutritional supplements and occasionally some clothing or other household items. They have a pretty vast selection and quality products at good price points.
