Love this location. Every time I come the staff are friendly and helpful. You can actually find people to help you when you need it. The store is super clean and fully stocked. Came in for spring water since I won't be drinking the tap water in Philly since the chemical spill, although they said it's safe. And I was able to find just what I needed. I got me some big jugs for my water cooler and a few cases to have on hand. This is my go to store to buy spring water, they also have these really yummy rotisserie chickens for only $4.99 which is a steal! The chicken is always so tasty and fresh. I bring my mom here and we can both get lost for hours, and the prices aren't too bad. Spent $83 on my trip today but have enough water for a couple months and got some things for lunch, fresh rye bread, a chicken and some iced tea. It's a further drive then the Philly store- but it's worth it since it's cleaner, less people, fully stocked and has great selections of things. read more

The only way to book a tire rotation, which is free when you purchase tires at BJs, is to call the store and transfer to tires. Calling is a pita bc the company hires one worker per shift. When they are working on tires, the worker can't answer the phone. So it rings and rings and the phone system kicks the call to member services, the bakery...and tires either eventually answers or you call back another time hoping they'll be by the phone. That's what happened one week ago and I finally got through and booked my tire rotation for today. However, today the tire worker called me and told me they overbooked my time slot and to call them. How do you overbook when it can only be booked by calling and speaking to a worker? And, even if there's an explanation (the worker's voice message said someone called out yesterday which suggests the system auto rebooked all the previous days jobs onto the next day?), WHY DIDN'T THE WORKER OFFER A SOLUTION? Instead of making me call, the worker could've said come at this time instead and call IF that doesn't work. The whole system (can't book online, not enough workers to answer the phone, auto rebooking over someone's week old appointment, workers who can't solve problems) is not worth whatever you save buying tires at BJs. Save yourself the trouble. Update: after leaving a message with member services bc I couldn't wait while my call went unanswered and bounced around, the tire worker called me and told me someone bought new tires online and was able to book at the same time as my appointment. Again, BJs system is flawed. He told me he didn't want me to wait and I could come in Saturday but I've had plans for this weekend for months (my bday was yesterday and we're celebrating this weekend and the tires need to be rotated). I asked what time I should come so I don't have to wait and he said he can put my car in the bay and work both cars at the same time but they close at 5 so he can't let me come after he's done the other car. I really don't understand how this happened and I hope BJs will do something, anything, to make sure it doesn't happen again. Update 2: I showed up at 3. The person getting new tires was scheduled at 1:30 and was done at 3. The person who was going to take my spot at 3 was a former colleague and friend of the worker (they talked for 10 minutes before starting the work and helping the people waiting for propane). He was trying to bump my week old appointment to take care of a friend and used lies to coordinate it. I'm worried that my tires are not actually being rotated and balanced. I have been a BJ's member for 34 years. In the beginning I had to drive to Allentown no BJs locally. Anyway my beef is I spent over $350 before Thanksgiving and received a coupon for a free turkey ( you had to spend $150 to qualify). I can't eat a whole 16 to 25 lbs turkey. So I asked if I could have a cheaper small turkey breast instead. The deli Manger was happy to tell me " NO WAY!!!". Nice, so I got nothing. The other beef I have is I hate going into a store and getting accosted by high pressure huksters trying to sell me home improvements or solar panels. So annoying trying to buy groceries and toilet paper while running the gauntlet of salesman hassling me that don't take no for an answer. We all know the big lot stores hire marginal people but corporate has to get their shit together or they will be just a memory like the predecessors that came and went before them. read more

. An item of yours was recently on sale, item 240025 - Lifetime 15X8 Dual Entry Storage Shed for $1179.78. The original price was $1279.78. The item was Out Of Stock online so I went to my local BJs looking to purchase it. I was told that it was not in stock but customer service would call additional local stores to see if the item was available. In fact, I was told that each store only receives a handful of shed per season. NONE of my local BJs has the item on hand. I was told that they may receive additional shed with incoming shipments. Every week I would go in and inquire about the sheds. I even asked if I could place an order there at the store and patiently wait for it to be shipping with their usual shipments. I was told that I could not and that the store was not in charge of shipments. Apparently they are automatically generated by sales. I contacted the corporate customer service with my complaint ( complaint # 5422243) and was told that I can go to my local BJs and purchase the floor model for the sales price. I contacted the store to conform that it would be available the next day and was told that it would as soon as the manager Ok'd it. My husband and I went to the store around 10am the next morning to pick up the shed and was told that there was a misunderstanding. They shed we were to purchase was not in stock or available. Reasonably upset I contacted customer service again was told that I could purchase the shed online for its new price of $2399.99. I rejected the suggestion and filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. On 3/28/2022 Ms. Williams from the Escalations Dept contacted me a week later in regards to my complaint. After a long conversation about my frustrations with the whole experience and the lack accountability from BJ's, I was told that BJs offers a price drop guarantee. Mr. Williams told me that BJs would be happy to price drop the cost of the shed if we purchased it. She stated that although she was certain that we would not be refunded the entire difference of the sales price, she was confident that we would be refunded anywhere between $500.00 -$1000.00. She even offered to have the item shipped for free due to the inconvenience. I agreed to the terms and purchased the shed during that phone conversation. On 4/7/2022 Mr. Williams contacted me and informed me that BJs was only willing to refund me $100.00 because I was should have purchased the shed in the store. I reminded Ms Williams that I HAVE in fact, tried many, many times to purchase the shed in store and it was also out of stock online so I was impossible for me to do so. She then offer an additional $100.00 for the inconvenience. I was utterly and wholeheartedly disappointed and disgusted. If we would have known that we would only save $200.00, we would have NEVER purchased the shed and continued to look elsewhere. We asked that the shed be returned (R108368575) and felt that BJS took advantage of us. Since all calls are recorded, I invite you to go over our conversations. How can a company advertise an item on sale, but not have it available to purchase online or in store? I believe the false advertising takes advantage of your consumers because they are forced to purchase the item at full price AND pay for shipping. Meanwhile BJs, saves money by not having to ship the items for store inventory. I have experienced many disappointing purchases and transactions in my life, but this is by far the worst and most disheartening. Shame on you for taking advantage of your members, especially during such devastating times. My family shops here mostly because of the gas and to get some good deals on bulk products that we use often- water bottles, tp, etc. The place has really declined in the last few months and I'm assuming that's due to the new management. I don't recognize any of the normal workers that used to work there, which is extremely disappointing. The whole store was like a ghost town at a time when it used to be fairly busy. They reorganized their store which has made it extremely difficult to find things. The produce section has also been lacking recently. There were hardly any organic offerings where there used to be a lot. The price tags of the items also did not match up to the items that were stocked. The many changes that have been made are not for the better, it was definitely a more flourishing store a year ago. read more

The worst customer service ever. Today was the second time I had to interact with a team member from the store and they call this lady a manager. I went to get gas and gave the staff $100 bill and requested less than that for gas, he couldn't resolve the issue and asked me to wait for his manager who had to come from the store. It was 10 degrees outside I waited for 10 minutes instead of apologizing she began to insult me and talk about me to another guest Pumping gas as If it was ok . I love BJ's. It is conveniently located on Rt. 611 and has a gas station and tire center. I am there about 2-4 times per month. The gas prices are the cheapest around, although during prime times, you'll have to wait in line for fuel. I used the tire center a few months ago to get 2 new tires for my daughter's car. The service/sales man was very professional and explained everything thoroughly which made me feel confident that he was competent. He advised us that we only needed 2 tires, not 4, and showed me the tread depth and wear pattern on each tire. We had an appointment and the entire process only took about 1/2 hour- easy peasy! The store has a wide variety of products. They have food, beverages, household items, small appliances, clothing, pet supplies, electronics, prescription eyeglasses, etc. Most items, including food and household items come in bulk packaging. The selection changes often and they put out new coupon offers monthly. The best part about this BJ's is that there are always plenty of registers open and you don't have to wait in line very long. read more

This review is only for the Tire Center and not for the main store. An employee of this BJ's Tire Center got mad at me for taking pictures of MY OWN TRUCK, and I later found out that he did over $400 in damage to it! I would also like to say that I was diagnosed with Aspergers Syndrome, a high-functioning form of autism, when I was 9. I drive a 2010 Toyota Tacoma, so obviously I have a driver's license, and my truck is my baby. I also have a good job and a college degree. In October 2017, I was due for new tires, and my dad got me a really good deal on a set of four Michelins with his BJ's membership. I brought my truck in on a Sunday, and the tire guy told me it would be about an hour and a half. I spent almost an hour and a half wandering around the store and I bought a few things. At about that time, I got a call from the tire center, and the guy told me he couldn't get my wheels off because they required a special hex wrench to get the center caps off. I was a bit annoyed, because I was expecting my truck to be ready at this point. I proceeded to tell him that the Toyota dealer and my mechanic have never had any problem removing the wheels, and he tells me that he "isn't a Toyota dealer." I then proceed to tell him that it doesn't matter whether he's a Toyota dealer or not because they are AFTERMARKET WHEELS and they require generic hex tool to remove the wheel covers. We live quite close to this BJ's, so I called my dad and asked him to bring his Alan wrench set. I pay for my purchases and push my shopping cart all the way to the tire center in the pouring rain, and when I get there I see that the tire guy has removed the wheels. Great! I am a well-known member on a forum for Tacoma owners, and I take pictures of my truck having work done to it all the time for the sole purpose of posting on this forum. My longtime auto body guy even allowed to take pictures of my truck being repaired at his facility after a drunk driver hit me! So, I take out my phone and proceed to take a picture of my truck up on the lift with it's tires removed. No big deal, right...? WRONG! The tire guy proceeds to tell me I can't take pictures in the facility, citing "past legal issues." Things got pretty heated, and I am not going to lie. I cussed at the tire guy in front of another customer. I said "It's my f*****g truck and I'll take all the pictures of it that I want!" He got mad and stormed out of the shop, leaving my truck on the lift with no wheels. My parents arrived with the now not-needed set of Alan wrenches, and I was still absolutely livid. They had to calm things down between me and the tire guy. I explained that I have Aspergers and I even tipped the guy five bucks to say "I'm sorry." When I got my truck back a few minutes later, the tire pressure light was on but I thought nothing of it since I have larger-than-factory tires and I always have to "balance out" the air pressure after I get the tires replaced. Well, about a week went by and I could not get the light to go out. I checked the pressure on all four tires and even tried resetting the warning light. Nothing. Fed up, I finally brought my truck to the Toyota dealer and they found that the the TPMS sensor in one of my tires had been completely broken in half, as if someone had roughly removed the tire using a crowbar. Almost $200 later, they fixed the broken sensor. I went back to the Tire Center by myself (a big mistake) in an attempt to make BJ's pay for their mistake. Unfortunately, the same idiot who messed up my truck was there (along with his supervisor) and he not insulted me for having Aspergers but said that the Toyota dealer must have broken the sensor! Needless to say, I stormed out because I wanted to punch the guy for making fun of my "condition" (that's what he said), and I have given up all hope of ever getting money back from BJ's. A short time later, I also discovered that the tire guy had broken all four of my center caps while removing them, after being unable to find a proper hex wrench. I had to replace all of these at a cost of $60 each! I'll buy tires at BJ's again, but never again will I trust them to install tires on any of my vehicles! read more

I visit this place quite a bit. Like the deli, usually a long wait. Gas is lower priced than regular places in the area, got their credit card to get cash back. Their prices are great on most items although we buy some items elsewhere. Got tires from them, its actually a good deal when you factor in the installation and road hazard insurance which I had to use once so far. Nail in tire, had to be replaced. Without the insurance would have been a $100, was charged $5. I will say their customer service area takes a while to check-in or out. We had curbside pick up tonight and had no idea where to go. No signs, not clearly marked. After waiting 25 minutes after checking in we finally went inside to ask where pick up was located and had questions. Taquanna at Customer Service was very nice and friendly to us about it but the other lady, had such a bad attitude when speaking to us. She said curbside pickup was in the back and they have signs clearly labeling it. Bottom line is...if the signs were clear we would've known where to go. It was pitch black outside so we couldn't see anything and it was our first time doing curbside pickup. No need for her attitude. She needs to work on her customer service. Needless to say we will not be coming back to this location. read more

Such a blessing! I had an appointment with the Tire Center at 9:30AM on 09.05.2018 which I ended up being late for because I went to the Bj's in Conshohocken accidentally . I was so late for my appointment but the tire specialist who helped my stepfather and I was absolutely amazing and very knowledgeable. He completed the job in no more than a hour! I have shopped in the various club stores in the area and have come to find that BJ's is my favorite. There is a joke that Costco is the place to be in the event of a zombie apocalypse because the zombies won't be allowed in without a club card. THANKFULLY, BJ's does not accost you at the door for your membership card. Minor complaint- the cart situation. There are oftentimes no carts available at the door. You must scour the parking lot for them, which is irritating. Anyhow.. The prices at BJ's are great. I LOVE my couponing. I use BJ's coupons stacked with coupons from the newspaper, which means GREAT savings. The lunchmeat counter offers fresh and inexpensive meats. The Wellsley Farms brand of meats are delicious and the price cannot be beat. I also love picking up an inexpensive 3lb rotisserie chicken because they're absolutely delicious and are great when eaten alone or added to pot pie, chicken noodle soup, fajitas, etc. The meat section offers fresh meats at great prices.I grab a club pack of chicken or steak and break it down. It lasts my family of four a week, which is a great deal. The gas prices are the lowest around and the staff here is great. I did, at one time, have an issue with an employee having a negative disposition. Aside from that one employee, everyone is mostly pleasant and helpful I highly recommend opening a membership at BJ's. I'll be renewing mine for the 4th time next month! read more

I was member of BJs for several and it is not too bad but the employees are rude and they don't know how to deal with costumers. Yesterday just because I ask one lady why the machine was asking me to put my purchase back on the table she yelling at me instead of explain me calmly. We costumers are the ones that make their job possible but they don't care about. The worst is that after that she begun to comment with another costumer the situation with loud voice. This BJs store used to be more and better organized. I went in on Black Friday it was not at all busy. I went and asked where a sale item was and an associate on a walk-in talkie asked the merchandise manager where the item was,their reply was " in a box" really??? Leaving the associate to did find the item for me and they did. Also,coffee makers on sale for $49.99 were mixed in with more expensive coffee makers. The Black Friday coffee makers were in the back of the more expensive ones. We found it.Customers are smart and are not going to purchase a more expensive coffee maker when one is on sale. While walking in the store, I noticed who puts hats and scarves near seasonal products like holiday candy? The store needs a serious transformation. BJs needs to take some lessons from Costco. My wife and I have been members for many years and have been fairly pleased throughout the years. Normally they are well stocked and they do have excellent pricing on gasoline. I do take issue with the cleanliness or lack thereof particularly in the parking lot area of this location. The parking lot area is always strewn with garbage and trash and really should be addressed. They should have store employees go out and do quick sweep ups during the day and if the company that they use to sweep the lot at night is not doing a good job then they should be replaced. Each time that we go to this BJ's we find the store to be very clean on the inside but a mess outside. We also shop at the BJ's in Quakertown. The Quakertown store has been much better in terms of stock during the covid 19 outbreak as compared with the Warrington store and the store is very clean both inside and out. Takes us about twice as much time to get to the Quakertown store coming from Doylestown but we are having better results by far. The Quakertown store does not sell gasoline. I really would like to see the Warrington store step up a bit and take things to a higher level. Certainly not a bad store but they can do better. read more

Clean, well organized, bulk purchase store. Beef and pork prices and quality are excellent, but you must buy in quantity. You can do better at Wegmans or Giant for chicken. Be a careful comparison shopper. There are good values at BJ's, but not everything is better value than Supermarkets. If you get their no annual fee credit card you can save 10 cents per gallon on gas that is already at the lowest price around. read more
