I am ecstatic about my experience here! Very fresh produce, amazing bakery selection, and lots of…read morefresh meal options for various dietary needs. There were several bakery options for those dairy-free and gluten-free and even sugar-free! They have a large selection of cheese, meats, and seafood too. Their drink stand offers ready-to-make smoothies, coffee drinks, and non-coffee drinks such as a chai frappe which I'd recommend! They also have seasonal items which sounded great. Over by the bakery corner, they offer ready-to-make crepes too. The staff was friendly and kind. I even found some fellow shoppers in the store to be friendly too! Shelves were restocked well which is saying a lot during a PANDEMIC! Checkout was very easy and quick (although I may have just been there at an ideal time of day). Overall, I'd say this store is well managed. Props to the team for making that happen! Also, for those unsure of what to expect, I'll say the following. The space is about half fresh foods/produce/made-to-order and half grocery aisles with some necessities and some specialty items mixed in. Be sure to examine the entire fresh foods area well, because otherwise there's some options that are easy to miss. They truly make best use of the space in my opinion! I only have two negatives to share: 1) the smaller parking lot with not too many spots available, which still worked for my needs. 2) a little pricier than your average grocery store (for some specialty items) but then again, I'd compare this more to a gourmet store or farm to table place where you're getting better quality and paying for it accordingly. With that said, I feel the prices are justified. Just note you would likely spend less on some items at a ShopRite, but a lot that's available here you wouldn't see in your average grocery store. Also, you'd receive better quality items (that aren't name brand) here than at your average grocery store including baked goods, fresh foods, etc. Overall, great experience!

Tried McCaffrey's yet again but the hot food bar was all dried out (at 12:45 pm - not 2 or 3 pm)…read more The pasta was ok (rigatoni with vodka sauce) but the chicken (thighs) were dry and chewy. At $10 a lb - I expect better, please. Staff is always friendly.

You can even purchase one of those metal milk jar carriers to transport the milk home. They sell by the half gallon and for a family of four, I go through 4 jars a week or so. Prices are reasonable and they sell ice cream from a Longacres ice cream shop that has been in business since the 1930s in Barton, PA. When you pull up you see the cows that provided you with the delicious milk! I drive about 20min just for the milk. Won't purchase from anywhere else now that I can taste the difference. Staff seem to be local high school students and are very nice. The ambience is straight from small town America.

This family's dairy farm is one of the nostalgic reasons my family settled in this area (just one of many reasons). I mean, where else can you greet the cows that produce the fresh milk you are about to buy in old fashioned glass bottles? That's right! We buy 4 or 6 at a time and carry them in hard wire baskets, just like in the 1950's! And for about the same price you're paying at the grocery store for milk that's been sitting on a store shelf for who knows how long. In summer, they feature locally grown produce. In autumn they sell local apple cider that's unbelievable! And the holiday egg nog is to die for!! If you're driving to New Hope from Philly or just looking for something fun to do on a Saturday, it's a great trip! The dairy has a dedicated local following, my family included. It's cash or check only but they do have an ATM. Just remember, the Dairy closes on Sunday (like the Bible says, rest on the 7th day).

The staff that works here is undoubtedly so nice - so I'm putting that at the head of the review…read morebecause they deserve recognition beyond what else is said in the review. They are extremely helpful and professional and actually are probably one of the only store employees I've encountered that seem like the genuinely care about you while they engage in "customer service". Very professional , so kudos to the people you hire and the training you employ. This Whole Foods looks mostly like other Whole Foods except it is notable that this Whole Foods is the first I have been in that was built post Amazon takeover and it's definitely noticeable ! A lot more ... utilitarian. The prepared section is huge but lacking any real good options at the hot bar it's just a lot of stainless steel and well a lack of food. Plus seeing people let their children dangle over the food and pick out their own is gross - not the time to teach them independence. Although that's not whole foods' fault. They have all the departments as any other Whole Foods but the choices I feel are definitely different than say the Spring House location where I feel I have more variety. I will agree with others and say not everything is fresh. For example I got expired yogurt and also bagged spinach that went bad way before the expiration date. Staff rectified and was super nice about communicating with me to reach out and they'll have a thorough scan of the department done. So things definitely aren't moving at the rate they're coming in or some FIFO protocols are slipping through the cracks. Overall I like getting discounted food here because I hate food waste, and I like that some of their prices are actually better than other stores - I.e. a lot of yogurt products. Overall it's definitely still got its hiccups but I think the staff is a great asset to this store particularly those in customer service. I also love their partnership with too good to go ! (Side note: I was disappointed they did not have a cafe as everyone said they were going to which was in turn why the neighboring B&N doesn't but maybe it really had to do with the building of the first watch).

It's just like the rest of the Whole foods with a vast selection of grocery, dairy, bakery, produce and prepared foods options. They have store-made sushi and pizza as well as a hot food bar (with lots of soups) and cold salad bar. Yes, it's pricey - but they have everything you need. Bring your own re-useable bags. They do have paper bags but charge 5 cents each.
