Deli has more people than ever but service has not improved and they no longer package salads to order. Their stacks of coleslaw, potato, and various salads can have up to a week old package date, the slaw having lost it's sweetness for "tang". They are not rotated properly, if you go through them, you can sometimes also find newer ones and older ones with a difference of several days. They are packing more than needed for the shelf to look fully stocked. We always go for their fried chicken and "store" bagels but alas, you can't live on Redners alone, real bakery, meat (too much yuck "Hatfield" brand) and produce will keep you running between different stores on more than special occasions.

On numerous times I have asked for assistance, only to be told, "I Don't speak English", then maybe they should work on an isolated area where only those who speak their language visor, & their rate of pay should be commensurate upon those who visit that department. I bet you their English language usage would drastically improve overnight. Two weeks ago, I went there 10 minutes before their closing at 11pm, I found what I wanted, which, the price tag said it cost $14 so i purchased 1, along with 3 other items. As I made my way to self checkout, scanning my things, and placing them in the bag, all the while under the watchful gaze of a racist camera system programmed etc to be so, when I got to The $14 item, it rang up as $7, so, I was kool with this, and although the announcement was made that they were now closed and to bring all items to the front, being respectful, I mentioned to a rep, and asked if it were possible to simply get another 1, as I had paid for this one, she stated the obvious, they were closed, and I had no issue with that, and I was cordially compliant, yet, knowing that they had reps in the same aisle, I asked if it were possible she could radio someone and ask them to bring one, she said no, they were closed, kinda adamant, yet, I was even toned and simply inquiring, as this courtesy was accommodated elsewhere, good customer service, but, not here, no problem, I continued scanning, all of a sudden, here comes security, achunky flashlight carrier with a Barney Fife complex(Andy Griffith reference) She comes over all loud and boisterous, yelling "What's the problem!!" I turn around, thinking, like "no she didn't!!" Did this miscreant just secretly call security, for absolutely no reason at all, other racism? I didn't get hostile, loud etc, I was compliant, although I inquired, and was that the issue, as if to say, how dare I, a black man question? Mildly irritated and entertained at this bufoonery of sub par intellects daring to attempt to bait an escalation, then, to call the police, trying to detain me, another man of Melanin, in their system. I explained the situation, although I didn't need to, I did this, in showing my demeanor, all the while knowing that they would try and state otherwise, (I had it happen in that racist kop mall years ago, and I was coming from work, in my usual attire of shirt, tie, suit, yet, another fat white racist guard called the cops telling them a strange person of color was causing trouble, which, I had not, and when the police arrived, as I walked by them, I heard them say, "there's nothing strange about him, meaning me, as I was professionally dressed, , carrying my bags from shopping, and as I overheard them, I approached them, and told them what happened.
