My happy place for sure, the employees are always so helpful. I tend to go at bizarre hours to avoid the crowds, but that also mean that stock isn't the best. Overall I rarely have a problem finding my favorite items.

Gorgeous, clean store, shopping center, and neighborhood!

No expiration dates on most items so many turn out to be stale, old, and awful. But when the house brands are fresh, many items taste great. No self-checkout lanes, so clerks will handle your purchases and thus spread germs. And take much longer than self-checkouts. Gorgeous store, shopping center, and neighborhood. My favorite products: Frozen mandarin orange chicken. Frozen BBQ teriyaki chicken. Frozen hash browns. Frozen mozzarella sticks. Frozen battered fish nuggets. Mini ice cream cones. Dark chocolate peanut butter cups. Plus many others! Everything is wonderful except the lack of expiration dates and no self-checkout lanes, for which two stars are removed.

PB&J snack is the bizness. Thank me later! This is coming from a person who isn't completely thrilled about peanut butter types of foods.

There are some special food in the grocery. I love this Tiramisu Torte Italian. It's my favorite dessert. Highly recommended!

Tulip game on point. Kids love watching the bulbs grow in glass! $8.99!

I live in the city and come out of my way to shop at this Trader Joe's! Sure, on the weekends and after school/work it's going to be crowded, but that's anywhere. If you can sneak here before work, during a weekday the shopping experience is so incredibly enjoyable!! You'll have the place all to yourself! I don't get that in the city anywhere! Everybody here is always super friendly and willing to help out. If you don't see something on the shelf you normally get, just ask they're always willing to check in the back! Any question about anything...they're there for you! The Trader Joe's brand is fantastic! They have all your favorite items usually at a more reasonable price point than major companies and equally delish, if not more so! I tend not to do all of my shopping here, but there are some things I always get only here: Sunflower Butter. Trail Mix packets. Tabouli Cinnamon alphabet cookies Whole wheat cous cous Trader Joe's Baked tofu Cauliflower rice Brussels diced and pre-seasoned Seaweed snacks ...to name just a few. Oh, and I actually get my face wash here! Shhh! It's tea tree oil, vegan and not tested on animals. It's $7 and I've been using it religiously for years! It's the only place I've ever seen it! The frozen section is on point! The tastings are fab! They have a section of gluten free baked goods and the entire place is very vegan friendly! Clearly marked kosher, vegan and organic labeling! This is THE best place for entertaining! They just lay things out for you. The holidays are always fun here! Grab their flyer for recipes and entertaining ideas! Their frozen apps, cheeses and spreads are all amazing! Can't go wrong with any of them! Add some of their amazing dark chocolate covered...anything and some of their gorgeous, reasonably priced, fresh bouquets and you're set! Seriously, make it a point to stop here for your holiday gatherings!! Also snag the Henry David golden pear box set. They are the BEST pears in the entire world!! It makes for a lovely gift! I always have their sesame crackers and eggplant tapenade on hand for last minute guests. Oh, and this location is next to a Wine & Spirits! One stop shop for the holidays. Seriously! Go! Love, love, love!!!

This Trader Joes is sooo disappointing. It was tiny, and didn't have much to choose from. the whole store only consisted of 5 aisles. The decor is corny, and very staged. Didn't have much of a selection of anything, and most surprising not much of a selection in fresh produce. Only reason why I give this Trader Joes 2 stars is because the lines went quickly and the cashier I got was very pleasant.

Always super friendly and they carry both kosher meat and ground beyond beef which is terrific - also many Israeli products

I really like the floral section and the specialty cheese area, they're both well stocked and add a nice touch to the overall shopping experience. There's also a Starbucks inside, which is super convenient if you want to grab a drink while you shop. Gionna & Nyla were awesome! Very nice engaging, accommodating and helpful, so much that I wanted to give a tip however they cannot accept tips something about being under Giant. Makes no sense to me. If they're giving good service they should be allowed toto receive tips. The store is clean, organized, and the staff is friendly and helpful, which always makes a difference. The only downside is that it gets pretty busy, there's always a bit of a hustle and bustle, and parking can be tricky since it's right next to the Movie Tavern. Overall, it's an easy place to shop and very convenient. Prices are a little higher, but you get the selection and experience to match. Definitely a solid go-to grocery store.

I don't know if it's sheer luck, but I never have a problem here. I can always find a good parking place and the lines are rarely long. I decided to snap a few pictures so you can see how clean and organized the store is. Always well stocked with fresh produce , bakery goods and fresh meats. and the employees are always friendly and helpful. I love their salad bar too! If I don't feel like cooking, I can run in and make a fresh salad without a big hassle . I don't drink, but see a large selection of beer as well. I go to the gym across the street from this Giant, so I'm always in this neighborhood . They also have good incentives to keep you coming back, like the coupons they send in the mail that tracks what you purchase and gives you coupons comparable to what you buy. They also will give you 5% off after you spend a certain amount. I forget how much that is, but whenever it pops up and they say I get my 5%.....I'm happy! Their prices are about average compared to other stores with good sales going on often. Sometimes the convenience out weights the price for me.

Keep in mind, the staff here was always very helpful (especially the folks manning the beer section) and I have no complaints about them. However, I can safely say this is one of the most dreadful Giants in existence. I've bought multiple items that were far past their sell by date (mostly yogurt and kefir). After being fooled a few times I started to meticulously check the dates on everything I picked up. This store needs a remodel badly, since you can tell when you walk in that it used to be a completely different store brand just by how the sections are laid out (probably a Shoprite?). The aisles are too small and everything seems dirty. It's much too tiny of a store for the population it serves, when you consider all of the Fox Chase and Burholme neighborhood people come here, as well as the suburban areas located close by. I just don't see them lasting in this location without a complete remodel. Don't even get me started on the parking lot, which is just horrible, complete with oblivious gym goers next door constantly wandering around without paying attention. It could be a nice location, and I'm sure they make a fortune if you judge by the crowd size, so I wish they would improve.

I spent 3 years working in a grocery…read morestore so my expectations are high when it comes to their deli, meat, and produce departments. I usually find everything I'm looking for, but occasionally I don't and I move on with my life. First, the olive bar should be set up when the store opens and should not be taken down until a half hour before store closes. Many times I've come in here before 9am and it's not even open yet. Second, the meat section is horrendous. Sure what's on display might look good in the butcher case, but the prepackaged stuff looks awful. Many times I walk through this department and it just smells like rotting meat. I've also seen them mix produce and meat in the same cooler which I'm pretty sure is a food safety violation. I would never buy steak from here. Third, the produce is sad. Some days you can get lucky and walk away with a fresh head of lettuce and often times you're just picking through rotting veggies. Why doesn't the store produce manager mark these items down so they get sold before they are no longer edible? Fourth, I'm very hyper critical of the deli because that's what I did for three years. I remember working in the deli like a finely tuned well oiled machine. That drive doesn't exist in this deli. The clerks will work on a mobile order before they serve a customer at the counter, which was always a big no-no when I worked at Shoprite! Sometimes they won't even show you how thin the cut is and just assume they're doing it right. One time I ordered a block of Boars head American cheese and when I got home I knew it was the store brand cheese. So they thought they could pull the wool over my eyes? Fifth, the bath products section is small and mediocre. You'll only find brands that everyone knows, but aren't necessarily good for your skin or hair. Need more Salon quality organic brands that don't contain the filler big name products typically add a lot of. Sixth, the self checkout registers are absolutely filthy. Take a look in the crevices next time you're using them and you'll find years worth of food and mold just growing in between the scanner and the frame. These machines need a desperate detailed cleaning. Lastly, would like to emphasize that this store needs to do a better job at marking down items that have an expiration nearing and reduce the amount of waste they generate by throwing out food that couldn't sell at its regular price.
