My review for MOM's will be aimed towards the Pinball machines they offer versus the market…read moreportion, which is smaller than you'd expect. MOM's has plenty of parking and shares the building with a Family Dollar. To find the pinball machines, which have their own area, head towards to the checkouts on the left. During my visit, they had over a dozen pinball machines from various eras, and all were in excellent playing condition. Machines were only 50 cents per play with a change machine provided. I found the two most interesting machines to be Riverboat Gambler and Taxi, which I am not sure I've seen before. There were also several arcade cabinets. If you like playing reasonably priced pinball machines in excellent condition, MOM's is absolutely worth the stop.

A bit disappointed on my second trip here…read more Three of the pinball machines took our money and there was no metal ball to play in the machine! The games were Houdini, Riverboat Gambler, and I forget the third one. One of the games the ball got struck and I had to wiggle the ball to get it free however the machine registered it as a tilt and went dark and shut down as a result. I guess in any arcade you will have some broken machines, but they literally ask the participant playing the game to scan a QR code on their phone to alert them of any broken machines. For those of you that are not in the know, you are never supposed to scan random QR codes as people can hack into your phones. Yes, you probably won't be hacked as the QR code is inside the pinball glass but WTF. On another sour note, I was totally out of coffee at my home and was going to grind some coffee beans as all their coffees need to be grind due to them not offering any already ground coffee. Welp, after seeing the unkempt machine with guck on it I chose to leave empty handed. Now for the good, I did not notice the first time I was here, but they even have already poured water for you in a plastic cup that you can help yourself too. This is in addition to free coffee and tea you can have while here. I haven't given up on this place just a bit disappointed on my second trip.

My dad, cousin, and I stopped by to buy some flowers here since it was very close to Hillside…read moreCemetery. They have a very nice florist with beautiful bouquets of fresh flowers under $20. I was pleasantly surprised to see a limited edition of a Hello Kitty magazine for $14.99 at the checkout stand. Being the huge fan that I am, I couldn't resist the temptation! There's a Starbucks inside this store, so we each got a drink, plus one for my late cousin since she loved Starbucks. Service at the checkout was quick and friendly.

This is my neighborhood grocery store so I'm here frequently. I spent 3 years working in a grocery…read morestore so my expectations are high when it comes to their deli, meat, and produce departments. I usually find everything I'm looking for, but occasionally I don't and I move on with my life. First, the olive bar should be set up when the store opens and should not be taken down until a half hour before store closes. Many times I've come in here before 9am and it's not even open yet. Second, the meat section is horrendous. Sure what's on display might look good in the butcher case, but the prepackaged stuff looks awful. Many times I walk through this department and it just smells like rotting meat. I've also seen them mix produce and meat in the same cooler which I'm pretty sure is a food safety violation. I would never buy steak from here. Third, the produce is sad. Some days you can get lucky and walk away with a fresh head of lettuce and often times you're just picking through rotting veggies. Why doesn't the store produce manager mark these items down so they get sold before they are no longer edible? Fourth, I'm very hyper critical of the deli because that's what I did for three years. I remember working in the deli like a finely tuned well oiled machine. That drive doesn't exist in this deli. The clerks will work on a mobile order before they serve a customer at the counter, which was always a big no-no when I worked at Shoprite! Sometimes they won't even show you how thin the cut is and just assume they're doing it right. One time I ordered a block of Boars head American cheese and when I got home I knew it was the store brand cheese. So they thought they could pull the wool over my eyes? Fifth, the bath products section is small and mediocre. You'll only find brands that everyone knows, but aren't necessarily good for your skin or hair. Need more Salon quality organic brands that don't contain the filler big name products typically add a lot of. Sixth, the self checkout registers are absolutely filthy. Take a look in the crevices next time you're using them and you'll find years worth of food and mold just growing in between the scanner and the frame. These machines need a desperate detailed cleaning. Lastly, would like to emphasize that this store needs to do a better job at marking down items that have an expiration nearing and reduce the amount of waste they generate by throwing out food that couldn't sell at its regular price.

I typically like coming to the Amazon Fresh in Willow Grove because I can often find things here…read morecheaper than at Giant, and the store layout is easy to navigate. However, lately it's been a bit disappointing. A lot of shelves have been empty for weeks -- even months -- and it feels like the restocking situation is getting worse instead of better. The hot food and salad bar were already closed by the time I arrived around 5:30 p.m., which seems a bit early for dinner shoppers. There were only two self-checkout registers open, both occupied by customers with large carts who were having issues with the clearance discount codes (which often need an associate override -- very frustrating). After waiting in line for over 10 minutes, an employee said she'd help me at a register, but then disappeared into the back, and I ended up having to start over in another line. Overall, the store just feels unorganized lately. I really want to keep liking this place, but it's becoming more inconvenient every time I visit. I hope they can get things back on track -- it's a great idea for a store, but it's starting to feel a bit neglected.
