This Giant Food Stores location is definitely on the larger side and has just about everything you need in one place. They even have and outdoor area where you can sit. I really like the floral section and the specialty cheese area, they're both well stocked and add a nice touch to the overall shopping experience. There's also a Starbucks inside, which is super convenient if you want to grab a drink while you shop. Gionna & Nyla were awesome! Very nice engaging, accommodating and helpful, so much that I wanted to give a tip however they cannot accept tips something about being under Giant. Makes no sense to me. If they're giving good service they should be allowed toto receive tips. The store is clean, organized, and the staff is friendly and helpful, which always makes a difference. The only downside is that it gets pretty busy, there's always a bit of a hustle and bustle, and parking can be tricky since it's right next to the Movie Tavern. Overall, it's an easy place to shop and very convenient. Prices are a little higher, but you get the selection and experience to match. Definitely a solid go-to grocery store. read more

I go to this Giant often. So often that I thought I needed to write a review . This is my go to store, because the stores in my neighborhood are always crowded and have long lines. I don't know if it's sheer luck, but I never have a problem here. I can always find a good parking place and the lines are rarely long. I decided to snap a few pictures so you can see how clean and organized the store is. Always well stocked with fresh produce , bakery goods and fresh meats. and the employees are always friendly and helpful. I love their salad bar too! If I don't feel like cooking, I can run in and make a fresh salad without a big hassle . I don't drink, but see a large selection of beer as well. I go to the gym across the street from this Giant, so I'm always in this neighborhood . They also have good incentives to keep you coming back, like the coupons they send in the mail that tracks what you purchase and gives you coupons comparable to what you buy. They also will give you 5% off after you spend a certain amount. I forget how much that is, but whenever it pops up and they say I get my 5%.....I'm happy! Their prices are about average compared to other stores with good sales going on often. Sometimes the convenience out weights the price for me. read more

This has to be my favorite giant around. Sadly I live about a mile from two giants, but I find myself making a drive to get to this one. It's a large store and one of the first to sell beer that I know of. The staff are usually friendly, even at the weird hours I go. I noticed that they had more obscure meats, so I went there one morning looking for rabbit. They didn't have small pieces, but they did have a whole rabbit. It was a great gamble on a Sunday morning. The butcher even discussed the rabbit with me and told me I could special order some foods from him. This store is close, but a lot of traffic to get there. I wish it was my local store, but it's the only giant I go to now. read more

This gigantic Giant has 20 long isles and is open 24-hours! The best feature, beer! Giant is now the area's best spot for Craft Beer 6-packs, single bottles & cans, and large bottles. A good amount of the popular beers are refrigerated. It's not like Wegmans or Whole Foods, no beer is served or consumed at the store. On the same side of the beer is a coffee area along with a variety of prepared foods like premade hoagies, homestyle foods by the pound, and sushi. The salad bar is close and only cost $4.99/lb ($2-3 less than other grocery stores). The prepared foods area was a letdown. They have a large seating area, but nothing worthy buying and sitting down to eat. I think the old Giant had a better "Food Court" than the new one. On the produce side of the store, there are two organic food isles with an impressive selection. Besides that, it's your basic large grocery store with plenty of checkout lanes. Currently, there's a good amount of parking. I'm curious about how that will change when the Movie Tavern is under construction and in operation. The peak hours of the two venues don't crossover much, but I can see parking becoming a huge headache. read more

After spending thousands of dollars over many years a Giant stores my wife, who is Black, was falsely accused of stealing at this store. She was followed around the store by a manager who called out to her. She turned and acknowledged him and asked, "Yes?". He said, "Wrong person." He continued to follow her and eventually said she was in the store earlier that day, she wasn't, and that she was stealing. She asked to see the alleged footage and then they couldn't produce it. The manager claimed the police would, "drag you out of here" So they both called the police. At no point did it dawn on this employee that an actual thief wouldn't be arguing with you about their innocence and waiting for the police to arrive. They'd be down the road already! Anyway they filed a police report and Giant banned my wife from the store. If she comes back it is considered trespassing. It's bad enough if that this happens at all but if I look up my receipts I bet we've spent tens of thousands of dollars at various Giants. We're done with this place. I want to thank the woman in Customer Service who changed my address today (Sunday, May 15th) in the computer around 10:30 a.m. Terrific Customer Service!! Previous attempts to change my address were met with unhelpful employees who told me: a. It couldn't be done. b. I needed to do it myself. And, c. We no longer mail out coupons. I've been asking from November 2019 to the present. I didn't have a working computer at the time and I don't normally use apps. So, thank you for making my day and I look forward to receiving coupons again! read more

Never again will I get anything from the deli, I specifically asked for 1.sliced thin, 2.sliced paper thin. Well both were sliced extra thick, deli workers are lazy, I guess it's faster if you slice it thick. I only wished I'd checked it first I never would have paid. Workers in the deli do what they want, not what is asked for. I shouldn't have cheated on Joes meat market. Most, not all, but most of the cashiers are ignorant and speak English, but in a way I certainly don't understand, muttering and mumbling. Ok, this is a grocery store so why am I raving about this place? Well, let me tell you the reasons why I love going here. 1. The layout: Yes, that's a strange thing to say since aren't most grocery stores have the same/similar layout? Yes, but I feel as if Giant does it better than most other grocery stores. And trust me, I bet tons of research money went behind the best aisle setup (I would know a little bit of the how/why behind this). 2. The organization: Besides for the layout, most of the items are organized in an intuitive way. Not thrown together at the nearest convenience or empty hole to fill by the store worker like some other places (*cough* *cough* Acme *cough*). 3. The service: Every time I've gone here, I've gotten the friendliest and most helpful service of all the grocery stores around in the area. They weren't just polite and smiley but they were helpful and were able to hold normal everyday conversations. And this is super important to me. If the service was just ok, I probably would've rated this place closer to a 3.5 4. Fast check-out: Enough said (oh and they were not pushy at all about me donating because well, now that I'm a student again, I'm poor). 5. They had beer! If you're not from Philly, like myself, then it's weird to hear this but apparently, PA law requires beer and wine to be sold at separate locations and cannot be sold together even at a grocery store so I was a bit surprised. Of course, you have to pay for the beer at the beer stand and it has to be placed in a brown paper bag, stapled shut with the receipt on it but that's progress right? Worst thing about this place? It's situated all the way back of the plaza so you might miss it driving by. Also, driving out is a bit of a maze but that's not their fault. I like the wide variety of food offered here along with pharmacy-type and toiletry items. It has an aisle full of seasonal merchandise too - like a mini old 5&10 aisle. The employees at all levels are nice and the store is immaculate. Good selection of organic foods in two aisles including refrigerated choices. read more

Milk, Bread, eggs fruit and vegetables, it's all here and everything else you think should be at a super market. If I ever remember to bring my own bags I will use the scan as you go price gun. It seems like a great time saver. The order and shop computer system at the deli is nice as well. My 2 year old really loves the carts for kids. I have not always been happy with the quality of the fish I have purchased.That is the only knock I can think of for this store. read more

I'm surprised this giant has so many positive reviews. I hate going here. In fact, I was scolded by a checker a couple of months back for putting a case of water on the belt to be scanned. She wouldn't scan it until I put it back in the cart!!?? After that, I refuse to go back. I should have just walked out. My chef complaint is that it's always sooo crowded. By the time I've gotten to the ice cream isle, I'm beside myself with frustration weaving through all the carts sitting in the middle of the isle while people browse, and kids running around. I've tried going in the morning but it's no better because every isle is filled with stockers. And then I have to wait for deep in line. When I go to the store, I like to get in and get out. Maybe giant is good if you want to spend half your day browsing and chatting. Besides all of that, the selection is pretty good, but not with the time and frustration. read more

Returned salmon that was not fresh (though package not outdated). Since I purchased two trays of salmon portions- the manager said she could only refund me for the one that costs the lesser amount though I explained it was the more expensive of the two pieces.. $4 less. No "sorry for the smelly fish and dinner mishap"! This is why I prefer Acme. read more

My only complaint is that available staff don't walk over and help bag your groceries and often you either have to wait for your cashier to bag your groceries or do it yourself which really is obnoxious. Other than that, this place is great. Really great selection. Lots of organic variety. Often there is more organic fruits and veggies here than i can find at WF which is a bummer when i go to WF and can't find that much organic produce. What's up with that? This place is well organized and well stocked. Always stocked. The staff are really nice and there are always lots of lines open so there's never a long wait. read more

I live 5 minutes from the Roslyn Giant but will now travel the extra miles to the Flourtown store after shopping there for the first time today. The difference between these two stores is like night and day. The store (Flourtown) seems cheerier and cleaner and the employees are so much nicer. Very pleasant experience. read more

This place is huge compared to the old store but better organized and easier to navigate. The sign out front says there is a cafe but I can't find it. The news had said there would be wine and beer available to consume in store but I do not see it. Maybe at a later date? Overall a nice place to shop. Clean and bright. Good sales. read more

Clean and great selection. They never check ID for credit cards. Great place to use a stolen credit card. They made an announcement to move your car from the pick up spots. Yet they don't care and don't watch and never announce anything when it comes to handicap spots. read more

I don't give out 5's lightly. I'm giving one here, because this store is so much better than anything nearby. The staff is friendly and helpful. Store is new, clean, fully stocked, and well maintained. It's a further drive for me, but I've been shopping here pretty exclusively since the new one opened. Prices are decent. Produce is good quality. You can buy beer here too, but must pay at a separate register(lame). The pharmacy is excellent. They remember your name. They remember if you called in a few hrs ago and talk to someone and they are very helpful and friendly. I also transferred all my scripts here. RM is really cute too, which doesn't hurt. :-) Short check out lines a+. This makes pathmark look like Walmart. read more

Yesterday my dad and I checked out at one of your grocery associates lines. My 84 yr. old dad was having trouble seeing the pinpad for his credit card (between fogged glasses, the flaps on the side of the pad and the angle of the pad). Your associate was asking him to back up and wasn't doing so in a very nice manner. It was embarrassing for my dad and I to say the least and she was causing a bit of a scene. . I understand they are front line workers and appreciate their dedication. At the same time, we have to see mutual respect. My dad never shops for groceries, my mom did that and recently passed away. My dad is now doing the shopping after 64 yrs. and is struggling himself. I'm glad I was there to mitigate but I don't live here but I don't want him to have to deal with this for shopping for groceries. I've encouraged him to use wal mart pick up services from now on so we are both saved the hassle next time. read more

Let me start by saying that I am a war veteran for the United States of America I should be treated with the utmost respect at 4 for my country and I should not be looked at as some sort of criminal this woman short treated me like a criminal at the self-checkout a middle-aged woman it was around 7:20 p.m. and she had a very nasty disposition she was horrible but she wouldn't help me back my groceries I had a hard time getting out of my chair and she was just downright mean and nasty C act as though she was the one that was supposed to be in need of help and she also had people coming to her needs and to our Aid instead of helping me there was chaos all around her that night and she just act like she was the one that needed to be helped and it was very horrible the way she talked to me and I wish someone would step up a real manager for step up and deal with this situation because it's the second time I've been counted this woman with this mean nasty attitude and I'm sick and tired of it and I'm not going to put up with it haven't come to that Supermarket for years and this is the first time I've got into a situation with an employee their everyone else is usually friendly and helpful this woman was mean and nasty on this day June 17th 2020 read more

Only mass market food. Similar to Walmart. ALL of their fish is loaded with sodium tripolyphosphate. All this does it bloat the meat to make it weigh more and taste like crap. Their meat is over processed and full of antibiotoics. Prices higher than WF for quality meat. Thier rotisserie chickin is always over cooked. Not sure if this is masking something. Their beer prices are more than Whole Paycheck in Plymouth Meeting. Need I say more? read more

It's weird writing a review for a food store, but I just have to! This place is WONDERFUL! Not only do they have a great selection, but they make it ENJOYABLE to bring along your kid. They give each child a balloon and by the customer service desk there are coloring pages, stickers, and even free bananas for them! My daughter loves the fun shopping carts and we love how friendly everyone is. We couldn't be happier that this place is right down the street from us. Keep up the good work! read more

They have a decent selection of gluten-free products, organic produce, and grass-fed, antibiotic, hormone free meat, poultry, milk, and butter. Now that I've discovered this Giant (which is much nicer than another I'd tried), I go to Whole Foods a lot less frequently which is good for my wallet :). read more

Don't go here for pick up. Willow Grove is much better. I pull up to pick up and every employee walks right past me. I always have to get the kids out of the car and go in to ask for someone, defeating the point of pick up. Last time I was there they told me there is a number posted outside that I'm supposed to call. I checked outside there is no posted number. At Willow Grove I pull up and an employee comes right to my door and gets my order. read more
