I come to this Aldi all the time. It's clean, pretty well stocked for the most part, and the staff is always nice, engaging, and very helpful. Parking is usually pretty good, and I'm almost always able to get in and out quickly. They typically have most of the items I need, which makes it one of my go to grocery stores. I used to love shopping at the Aldi in Willow Grove. It was my go-to store because I could grab everything I needed and be in and out in 10 minutes. It was fast, efficient, and stress-free. That all changed when they removed the self-checkout registers. Now, especially on weekends, they only have 2 registers open at a time, and the lines are insane. What used to be a simple, pleasant shopping trip has turned into complete chaos. The convenience that made this location stand out is gone. I hate to say it, but I'll be driving to a different Aldi from now on because this has gotten ridiculous. I love Aldi, but this location needs to bring back self-checkout or staff more cashiers -- this just isn't working anymore. read more

Stopped in to get two loaves of bread.A nice customer allowed me to go before her through checkout since I only had the two loaves. The cashier inadvertently made a mistake and charged the customer in front of me for the two loaves of bread and I quickly alerted her to the mistake that she made.Instead of the cashier thanking me,she instead began to berate me in front of the other customers and became argumentative to the point where I several times had to remind her that I was a customer and that this type of treatment from her was not only unprofessional but rude as well.She continued to berate me.This employee needs to be removed from this job simply because as old as she is;she still doesn't realize that if it were not like customers like myself and others,she wouldn't have a job.If this employee is the face of Aldi,then maybe I should shop at Walmart,Grocery Outlet,Etc.I do not recommend this particular store to customers.This occurred today at approximately 1:50pm at the store that is located at the corner of Davisville Road in Willow Grove.Pa. read more

check your receipts. Dominique is a manager. Apparently nobody is above her. When she rang me up she made it clear that she was the manager. She rang up my items so fast she miscounted my vegetables and double scanned my frozen vegetables. I had to pay and then review my receipt. When I asked for a refund she was very rude and annoyed at me for showing her HER own mistake. I was refunded the money but the rudeness was absurd! I noticed men in business suits walking out of offices saying good bye to Dominique by name and I asked them if she had a manager above her I could speak to. Lauren emerged from the office. Her blank stare and lack of concern for Dominique s error and attitude only leads me to believe that she has no say, or power in her store (if she is a manager at all). Lauren said have a nice day. Really? Let's charge customers for products they are not taking home and when they check your manipulative maneuvers you tell them to have a nice day. Check your receipts. read more

This is one of the more modern stores that the company is starting to get into. The one in Abington, not too far away, is the older style that I'd been used to before, similar to the one that was in East Norriton. This one reminds me of the new one that just opened in Blue Bell a few weeks ago. The store looks really nice, and even though it's bigger than the old style, it's still not huge, so you can get through pretty easily and find what you're looking for. Aldi is not as great if you want lots of choices for stuff, as they mainly sell their private label, not that many big brands. However, if you're OK with their private label, it's great, since the prices are low and quality is good. Something I love about Aldi and have recently been reminded of - their double guarantee! If you happen to buy produce from Aldi that's bad for some reason, bring it back, and not only do you get the money back for it in cash, you get to pick another one to bring home with you! My first and last time at this Aldi location. The store was so dirty and the selection was HORRIBLE!! The selection they did have was scarce. The employees were rude and the clientele was even worse. I'm not sure if Aldi changes it's stock so drastically in every neighborhood, but this place had a bunch of some stuff, and not much or others that I'd seen at other stores in different places. Always great prices of course, but the low frozen food freezers looks pretty empty and I wasn't seeing some seafood that I've noticed is around at others. In contrast, the other aisles were stocked full, while other places have trouble keeping up stock with big crowds. Fruits and veggies were plentiful, and the sales aisle was stuffed with candies and April treats for the holidays that some people celebrate. All in all an alright Aldi. They have many more meat free patties and nuggets than I've seen at my local Aldi, so I suppose they're playing to the demographic they might shop there more often. read more

Nice store! A lot less expensive than Giant. I can tell the difference in produce. Blueberries and Cuties were smaller than the product purchased at Sams Club. Wherever I travel I normally stop into an Aldi. Fives stars for value, three stars for selection, but that is the secret sauce for Aldi, limiting selection. This local Aldi is a former Botton Dollar location. So it's bigger than the old Aldi locations but smaller than the new ones like Blue Bell, Langhorne and Neshaminy locations. Always clean with a good section of extremely reasonably priced produce, cheese and meat. Just make sure you bring some bags and have a quarter in your pocket. read more

I love aldi! They could have more cashier's at this location! My only complaint is that I brought these wings from Aldi and my God they look like they were cut off of an ostrich! They were so tough!! I had to return! I loved getting their bag wingettes because they were small, not sure what has happened product wise but I don't recommend this item! Store is great! read more

The set up at this location is the same as the other Aldi locations I been too. There was a long line but it moved fast. The cashier I had was super pleasant. I have been an Aldi shopper for years, ever since they first opened their store on Easton Rd. Glenside Pa. But, with that store closing and the Cheltenham store closed for remodeling the only store left in this area is the one in Willow Grove which feels impossible to shop in. The overflow from the closed stores and the possible addition of new shoppers makes the parking lot dangerous to maneuver in and the long lines for checking out are ridiculous. It is impossible for a single person to run in and just pick up a couple of things when others are doing weekly shopping for a large family and of course there is no express line. The fellow shoppers are kind and courteous ( another thing I like about Aldi) and some will let you go in front of them, but for grabbing some milk and eggs Aldi is no longer the store I go to. The days of loving to shop at Aldi is past. The staff is always friendly and helpful but I see some wearisome faces. And that includes mine. read more
