The manager and customer service lady are rude and don't honor the return policy. Instead of walking away atleast talk to the customers

I was exchanging a clothing item for a larger size. I had already went thru the line to pay for items I was purchasing at the time. I had the larger size item, the original item and the receipt. A GIANT SIGN STATING "WE WILL GLADLY EXCHANGE OR RETURN...." was on the wall behind the customer service line. I was, upon presenting all items, informed they don't do exchanges. I would have to return and then GO BACK THRU the register to purchase the larger size item! "Then why does your sign state you will GLADLY exchange?!" "Oh, they just haven't changed the sign." If your sign says exchange.....and your CORPORATE policy online says you exchange, then don't enforce some different policy PRIOR to informing customers!!! I was not only inconvenienced by having to make a send purchase at the register, but the item was a gift on my daughter's credit card....so now the credit goes back to her card and I have to purchase "the gift" myself."! Walmart Supercenter - Policy on EXCHANGES-six days ago - Department Stores Near Me - Warrington, Pennsylvania

I had a horrible experience with Walmart Customer Service in their Warrington location. I was returning a patio umbrella that I purchased online. I processed the in-store return online. The email from Walmart says, "In-store returns are easy. To return to the store: gather your items. No box? We'll pack for you in-store." When I got in line at customer service, a young woman started yelling that she will not accept my return without a box. This was before I even got to the front. When it was my turn, she started having what is best described as a temper tantrum over my lack of box. I calmly showed her the email and she threw up her hands, cursing, and walked away. A young man came over and tried to help, but this wasn't his department. The young girl came back yelling at me about the box, and I asked to talk to a manager. Apparently, the manager left for the day, but someone else came over with an attitude saying that they won't take the item and walked away before I could say anything else. I apologized to the other people in line, who were very kind to me and provided suggestions to help. The young woman continued to berate me and had someone else come over to do the same. At least this person explained that if I were to leave it there, the return wouldn't be processed because they don't have a box to ship it out. At this point, I left because I wasn't getting anywhere. If the customer service person explained calmly and kindly from the very beginning that they are unfortunately unable to accept my item because they do not have a box to ship it in, which would prevent the return from processing, and that it is unfortunate that Walmart.com states that boxes are not needed, it would have been a very different scenario. I would have understood and left. I recognize that people in the customer service field are dealing with very stressful situations. I try to always treat people with respect, even when they are rude to me. However, this behavior was completely unacceptable. read more

we went into Walmart to buy a couple of things. we waited for quite some time to get help with printer ink. we were approached by Harold ( employee) who was quite rude to us and not helpful at all. he said some things that weren't even his business or his department. we eventually got help from "fran" who was lovely and apologetic for the wait. i explained how rude Harold was to us and tried to call your business several times that day. no one answered and do I am left to write this report. apparently, Harold has been rude to both his peers and customers ( as we witnessed). he does not represent Walmart in a positive way read more

Walmart has evolved over the years with "superstores" containing a "market" grocery department, an outdoors/gardening department, a pharmacy, FedEx shipping location, and a greater variety of clothing, with a few quality brands (George). They have been trying to establish their stores to be competitive, especially with Amazon and Target. However, if there's an issue with a third party seller, unlike Amazon, the customer service for their online purchases might as well not exist- they're useless and are not buyer friendly. Their 3rd party sellers are an accumulation of an abundance of businesses, all permitted to misrepresent what they are selling. For instance, if an item comes in two varieties, a limited edition, and a regular edition, the seller is permitted to advertise that they're selling the limited edition without any disclaimers, and when you don't receive what you were rightfully expecting, Walmart makes you deal with the third party. You're told by supervisors that there's nothing they can do, contact the seller. You can email, call, and the seller is permitted to make every excuse to not provide a return and full refund. I've experienced issues on at least 4 occasions before Their online service is not in sync with the stores whatsoever. Walmart represents that stores have in stock items and rarely to never update their inventory, so customers are constantly inconvenienced driving to a store to purchase a specific item. Walmart expressly indicates not to contact the store to check on inventory. The aforementioned system is reflective of the way Walmart runs their stores- a complete disaster. Yesterday, I drove to 3 different locations, all indicating online that an item was in-stock. It was a Funko, a brand of pop culture and historic figures for nearly any TV show, movie, sport figure, mascot, ad icon, etc. Not only wasn't the item in-stock, but I looked up over 85 other items that were indicated as "in-stock" "in-store purchase only" and all but 7 were actually on the display. Beforehand, I looked up all the locations to see which ones indicated the item was in-stock If that isn't false advertising, I don't know what is. Other retailers indicate clearly that they are out of stock. Walmart doesn't do that. Why? Either they want you to go to the store and make other purchases, once you realize the item you came for isn't there, or they just don't care. I asked several employees who have repeatedly seen this happen to customers and to them personally at their own store. When the Covid pandemic was at it's height, i could understand the difficulty in keeping many items accurately updated on a daily basis. But, isn't their technology that can approximate by everything a SKU is purchased how many pens remain by what was in stock? Many other retailers do a fine job, such as Target, Home Depot, etc. but Walmart wants a pass. As I walked to the Custer Service counter, the employee who was multitasking and doing the job of at least three, was empathetic and told me several recent instances of that happening with large items that were nowhere to be found in the store. She was unable to even find what aisle the brand of products was located. There's several other commonalities at any Walmart- they are very understaffed, there is never an employee within 60% of departments when you need assistance, their "price "checkers" throughout the store are usually not working, a majority of registers to check out are not open, there's carts with boxes of items to be stocked in the aisles, simply piled up at least 5'-6', and no one in the department is around to restock. Another common issue is little to no organization, especially when it comes to social distancing. People are standing within a fit or two of one another. I waited outside the same Walmart a month ago and a person standing two people in front of me, 3rd in line, was allowed to enter without a mask because he told the employee that "it is against my religious beliefs and my pastor told me I have the right to not wear one." He was let into the store and was on his mobile phone through the time he was checking out. It's unacceptable. Lastly, Walmart is trying to compete with supermarkets for ordering your items online and scheduling a pick up. Instead of trying to be what you aren't and doing so many things poorly, Walmart needs to go back to essential requirements of properly running a retail store and providing customers a good experience. If they can't get that right, they'll never be a store that you know you can rely on nor have a good experience. read more

I spent 400 bucks here , passed at least 2 other Walmarts on the way .... I get into line to check out .. The young lady who was my cashier was rude and doesn't want to do your job.. I say Good Morning to her she rolls her eyes at me .. I say to myself ok mmmm then I ask her a question she ignores me and I hear her talking and see her ear buds in her ear so she is on the phone ! Let's pump the brakes right there .. How is this acceptable!?? So I continue to put my stuff up .. I realized that there are 2 items in my cart that I don't want .. I hand them to her and say I decided not to get I hand them to the young lady and say I do not want these thank you.. She takes them , rings them Up and hands them back to me !!'n WTF !! I looked at her like did you not here me?? Hence she is still on your phone . She then takes them back from me and takes them off the bill , I guess that's what she did I thought you needed a manger for that.. So now I'm all rung up and I tell the cashier that I am going to pay half my bill with on cc and the other half with another cc . So I proceeded with the card and here she ran it for the full amount!! I'm so pissed now ! I say to her your not paying attention at all !! She says yes I am .. I laughed I asked for her supervisor. She goes and gets this young girl who was not a supervisor and tells me to go to customer service ! Come to find out she never took those items off my bill ! I work with the public every day and to see how this place is ran is crazy !!! Walmart doesn't care about the people who shop there ! They care about the money !! I'm never going back!!! read more

I had a very,very,interesting experience this morning at this particular location.I went to purchase some Spring Water,and a few more items,and decided to purchase a folding table that was 8ft. There were two(2) left and the price stated $44.95 or $44.94.So I grabbed one and took to self checkout and scanned it,and instead of saying the price was $44.94 or $44.95,the price came up as 80.00 some dollars.I quickly spoke with the attendant who was posted at the self checkout and she directed someone named Casey to go check the price.Casey comes back and begins to tell me "I'm not lowering the price".I explained to Casey that I wasn't asking her to lower the price but to find out why the correct price isn't listed on the item's shelf as it should be. Casey went on to say that "maybe" that price was for a 6ft table.However there were no other tables there.Myself and Casey both went back to the area where the tables were and confirmed what I had shared with her.Casey still began saying that she wasn't going to lower the price.I can now understand why this particular Walmart has such low reviews and why management turnover is so high.Customer service in this store sucks,and I frequent this particular store atleast three times a week,and I spend money in this store,while so many others just walk in and take what they want.I do not recommend this store at all,and it's obvious as to why.The employees don't realize that without consumers like me,they would have no job.Not once did I ask or request this Casey individual to lower the price of the item.I have paid my way through life every since I was old enough to have a job,and that is something I pride myself on.Good Luck to Casey in the future in hopes she climbs the corporate ladder at Walmart and finds that her attitude is about as relevant as the job she performs..I do not recommend this store. read more

Literally the worst Walmart I have been to in my life. It is Good Friday, and there are no cashiers only to self checkouts open. I was buying a game for PlayStation which I got from the electronics department. He walked it up to the customer service desk and told me that I had to check out there by time I stand in line got to the front the guy that is currently working is on his personal cell phone with AirPods in talking to whoever I got my game and he said that I couldn't pay for anything else there that I had to go stand in line so I had to go back to stand in line which I stood for almost an hour. Finally, I pushed my car to side walked out, left about $300 worth of items in the cart that I did not pay for. So I guess they have so much money that they don't care about losing a lot of business. It's sad because this Walmart is in a Successful area and it is the worse. I will drive a half hour to go to the next city in order to go to that Walmart. All the while there's multiple, I counted just in one area seven associates just walking around unwilling to help looking at their personal cell phones. I will say that this one appears to be in better shape than the one on street rd. You can walk around forever here an no one offers assistance. Always long lines, never enough help. The only positive is the older man who I've seen at the Sporting goods counter is pleasant. Does Walmart have managers? You never see them in the store, it appears no one is in charge. read more

October 30th 2023 . At 9:30 am I went to checkout/ registers and there was nobody available, only self checkout . So I went to the front desk to ask if someone could open a checkout with a cashier, the woman's reply was that no checkout would open until noon and added that they were short handed . Meanwhile at both exits they have assigned employees checking receipts . I personally do not like self checkout since I'm not an employee there and I believe it eliminates jobs. So I was pretty much forced into checking out myself . Next time I'll just leave the cart , this is pathetic. Next we'll be stocking the shelves . read more

Went to this Walmart after lunch. Greeted buy an employee prior to entering. Went here to purchase Thank you cards. Selection was good. My husband got lost in he Halloween clearance section- this section was a mess. Good bargains but you need to dig thru the mess. No line- cashier did not smile. She rang the items up and placed the items In the bag and then twirled to the next bag section. Cashier had no emotion. read more

Appalling. Granted, I showed up on the dreaded Sunday and lots of shoppers are to be expected. Crowds aside, however, I'm kind of in disbelief that this particular Walmart, that is a mere 5 years old, is in such bad shape. Dirty displays, clothes scattered carelessly on counters, sizes not sorted correctly and ample empty counter space in men's, women's, and children's departments. Many clothing items were missing price tags or thrown just anywhere. The accessories department was a wreck, brown cardboard boxes simply opened with inventory spilling out of them. Purses scattered on the floor. In the cosmetics department there were huge boxes on end caps (no tasteful and enticing end cap displays here, no sir!) filled with spilled and expired cosmetics, i.e. foundation crusted bottles and opened lipsticks. Gaps everywhere (understandable, because, after all, the supply chain has taken a hit due to Corona), but far more than I've seen in other local stores. Frozen food was barren. A baby product display had opened bottles with missing lids. At check out time a line had formed from the cleaning product area in back of store for self checkout. 4 lines were open for non self checkout. Obviously the lines were incredibly long. Luckily, my check out sales associate was lovely; professional, and quick. That was the best part of the trip, lol. I did, however, notice disgruntled employees ranting on the sales floor. Coming into a store like this gives the idea that the people who run it just do not care about their company or their customers. I've been a Walmart shopper since 1998, all over the country, from California to Ohio to Utah. I've encountered much nicer, welcoming Walmarts in this general area and next time will head over to one of those. read more

Walmart does have decent prices and also certain items that are hard to find, like ready to cook tortillas in the refrigerator section, and a surprisingly large selection of Mexican cheeses. That said, they have the most maddening self checkout system. Tried to pay with Mac card, over credit card network rather than by debit. Wouldn't accept it or any subsequent credit card I tried. It wasn't until I tried again used debit and took money back that a transaction went through. Never again. read more

This Walmart has definitely ... improved ... for Walmart's. I don't go in here often it's kind of like a last resort or if we're craving a particular dessert and it's late! The main reason I say that have improved is because the last time I was there they actually had cashiers !!! It was shocking I know. Normally there are huge lines because there are only ever 1 or 2 cashiers available and self checkouts line is just as bad with people going there will full filled carts! I do like their bakery, although it is smaller in size and limited in offerings compared to the Horsham Walmart. Their grocery section as a whole is smaller. Their freezer cases usually are very light as well. The rest of the store is neat enough - for Walmart. You can find things if you need to. The parking lot here is always a disaster - food or broken glass everywhere. There is a pharmacy, an optical department, and a Subway/ Annie Anne's although I have never gotten anything from them - they're there. It's Walmart I'm not rating this against other stores I'm rating it on a Walmart scale and it's not that bad. read more

I bought a mini fridge in the midst of the pandemic because my brothers fridge broke. After I made the purchase, my brother called to stop me because his mother in law had a used one. They weren't accepting returns even though I had literally just left the store with it. Fast forward to now. Months later they're finally accepting returns, but the receipt is long gone. They told my partner that if I brought it in with a valid ID I could get store credit. So I brought it in, and nothing. Just an oh well, sucks for you. Unopened. They sell it in the store and could stick it back on the shelf. I would probably have respect that money almost immediately on other merchandise. But instead I'm taking my business elsewhere as much as possible. read more

I love this store, it's clean well stocked and nicely organized. I also love the Pharmacy, as the staff are smart and quick with great answers to any questions that i might have. The international isle always has interesting foods that i'm looking for too. Overall i like everything about this location.....Other stores in the area seem to be pretty chaotic haha that being said, this locations is pretty decent. read more

This Wal-Mart is located in Horsham Gate on Easton Road (Route 611) in Warrington Pa. My sister and I stopped in at 8:30 PM to get some Christmas shopping done. We generally found what we were looking for, but there were some positives and negatives to this Walmart. For the negatives, the shelfs were messy with empty boxes and disorganized products everywhere. They seemed to be out of quite a bit in those sections. There were also empty pallets on the floor and u-frames blocking the middle of the aisles with no-one around. For the positives, the prices were great and they still had what we were looking for. No wait at the self checkout either (it could have also been it was 9PM at this point). My recommendation is this. If you want great prices with messy conditions, harder to track employees and the possibility of the items you want being out of stock go to Wal-Mart. If you want slightly higher prices but a cleaner store with more items in stock and employees to be found then there's a Target in the next shopping center. I dont dislike Wal-Mart and I generally shop there as much as I do Target, but this location left just a bit to be desired. read more

This store removed much of the Christmas merchandise that is usually discounted after Christmas such as boxed and boxed Christmas cards. The Christmas merchandise was limited this year due to lack of staff to stock merchandise. What will happen in the next coming three months is that many different kinds of stores will be stuck with merchandise from the back room or merchandise that was not delivered from California and have to discount it. If any is smart as I think they are, they visited the meat markets and go meat on sale, and stocked up on dry goods and food. If you think inflation is bad now, wait until the next 6 months. As the saying goes, brother can you spare a time. Hopefully, in 2024 things will change. read more

If I could give this Walmart a 0 I would. Completely horrible experience. I have been trying to get the new Xbox for my brother and Walmart has been getting them in a lot lately. I woke up on Sunday and attended the store asked if they had any in the back and a lady who apparently works with unloading the trucks informed me that they will have some in by tonight but won't be for sale till the next morning. I show up the next morning early since a lot of people want these new consoles which is understandable. I get in line at 3 o'clock AM with others. 4Am comes by and the same lady comes out and says we sold them last night there are none available any more. Everyone in line was pretty pissed but she said come back at 9 I know for sure there will be some. I come back at 7 o'clockPM and I see others waiting in the back of electronics. I join and start talking about our experiences so far with getting this new console. The store manager comes to us and goes "do you guys need any help" we say no thank you we are just taking and waiting for something. 30 minutes go by and the store manager comes back to us and completely in a rude way asks myself and a couple of people why we are here. We explain nicely that we were informed by one of the employee's that work in unloading the truck that the new consoles should arrive by 9. We completely get harassed by the manager. She started threating me by saying "I'm leaving to go upfront if I come back and see you back here again we will have a problem" I have been pretty respectful and nice to all Walmart employees I have nothing against them. She proceeds to say " you can not just stand here and do nothing you will be kicked out unless your shopping" it's completely rude to say this Especially as a manager but totally understandable. I turn around and I see two of my friends shopping around it was perfect timing I help them shop around which took about 15 minutes and headed out and went to grab some food. At 8:50 I came back and saw one of the people I was waiting in line with. They purchased a monitor and were looking around out of the blue the manager storms down to us and completely starts being rude to both of us. We are doing nothing wrong completely respectful and when I came back in store knowing I had 10 more minutes till the truck is fully unloaded I went shopping for my sister and grabbed some pet supplies. Long story short the manager goes crazy on us and starts to threaten to call the cops Because we have been shopping for too long. The lady next to her was the lady who told us to come at 9 she said " you guys need to leave now" I left respectfully in fact I put all the items I had in my cart and just walked away peacefully. There was no need to be rude to customers. It is not our fault that a Walmart worker informed us of new consoles coming in at 9. We were all respectful but the manager just kept harassing us and being completely rude to us. If Walmart corporation doesn't take action then it really says a lot about them. I felt completely uncomfortable with the manager and the person who was "unloading the truck". If you support the way the manager acts and the way employees act here then go ahead and shop. I would recommended going to the Blair mill one that's down the street of it and just do your shopping there. The manager was pretty good with how he handled the situation there and no I didn't get a new console from either Walmart's I'm speaking from experience. What a joke. Whoever the manager is that is on duty 3/7/22 at 730 pm should be fired. I printed over 500 photos and was waiting to pick them up. The photo department was open until 9pm. I spoke to the manager and told her no one was there to get my photos. she said "sorry, we don't have workers." I told her the photo girl that was leaving told me anyone could get my photos. She rolled her eyes at me and paged a man named "Tim." Tim met me back there and I told him they just got out of the printer. "Sorry ma'am I cant get photos from the printer, only the drawer. Why the hell did they page me." I walked BACK to the front and said he did nothing to help me, and she rolled her eyes again and walked away. She was useless. The workers there are disrespectful and unprofessional. I used to work at this establishment and they treated me horribly when I never did anything wrong. They have workers there I've seen come in high and not do there job and they did nothing to reprimand them but when I came to do my job as a door greeter I got botched at and bullied for doing my job. Management at this location should be ashamed (and replaced). Every time I shop there - and I mean EVERY TIME - they are out of stock of something I need. Ok - so I can understand being out of stock of the fancy hot sauce I like, but when I looked for taco sauce on the shelves there was none - at all. The shelf was bare. Grapefruit - same thing. Bulk garlic - same. None. Today I needed 1/2 gallon of milk, tomato juice, and frozen orange juice. AND THERE WAS NONE! The entire refrigerated milk section was bare except for a few items. I could count the containers on one hand. The shelves were mostly bare in the juice aisle, too. (actually they have not stocked tomato juice for a few months now - I think four or five months). The only frozen juice they had was a very small box of cartons of lemonade. DISGRACEFUL! ps: the checkout lines were very short. No wonder. I was completely dissatisfied. walmart is doing a good job of forcing me to shop elsewhere. Target is right across the street, so I went there. They had everything I wanted. Other people were having the same problem with walmart, too. I saw some of the same shoppers at Target that I just saw at walmart. And the checkout lines were so long that they opened ALL of the checkout lanes. That's customer service! The walmart building is big, beautiful and new - a year or so old. I call the store today at about 10 a.m. to see if they have a particular item in stock. The phone rings about 1,000 times and no one answers. Great. I call back about 15 minutes later and we have the same ridiculous result. I call the store on Street Road and after a bit speak to a human being and find out that they are out of the item that I need. So I call the first store back again hoping for a better result. The phone rings 30 times and a human being answers (I am so shocked and surprised that I can barely speak). I ask the individual on the phone if she can tell me if an item is in stock and I can provide her with the sku number. She informs me that she can't do that on her computer. The largest retailer in the world and you can't do that on your computer!!!!!!!!! What a complete waste of time. Absolutely horrendous customer service. I would give them zero stars if it were an option available to me. I called Home Depot later that afternoon with a similar inquiry. The phone was answered on the first ring!!!!!!!! and not only were my questions answered but I purchased the item over the phone and made arrangements to pick it up the following day in store (Warrington Home Depot). Walmart has a lot of work to do in the customer service side of the business. And they need to train their personnel on proper telephone etiquette. read more

I understand you get the service you pay for, but this is ridiculous. I waited ten minutes for a manager to override a transaction because the cashier accidentally voided an item. Every time I come to this location it is a bad experience. I am not sure how the store manager can be proud of this place. I will just have to to the one on Blair mill road from now on. It's amazing that I am able to write this while waiting for a manager. This place really has horrible service. Avoid this location. read more
