Wilted parsley

We decided to stop by Amazon Fresh in Warrington for our weekly Produce purchases... the only good thing was that the Produce Department is the first department you see when you walk in, allowing us to abandon our shopping sooner vs. later. Apparently Amazon "Fresh"has resorted to dumpster diving for their produce. I could have taken a lot more pictures - but these are enough to convey my rating. Wilted, dried out, not fit for a rabbit.

I heard about this store and I was in the area so I decided to check it out. Atmosphere: bright and clean. When you come to the cart area, you can either choose a regular cart or the smart cart I'm going to call it. I chose the smart cart. The directions are very generic and not user friendly and that was a little frustrating hence only three stars. There weren't many humans in the store to assist. I encountered someone after I was done my shopping and figured out everything on my own. Here's how the smart cart worked: You open your Amazon shopping app and look to the top, right under the search bar you'll see " in store code" click that and a barcode comes up. You then take the barcode and scan it in front of a window to the right of the handle on the shopping cart and you will be logged into your account. At this time you can select your payment option for checkout. You'll be able to see your shopping list as well as some other things which I thought was cool.!!! Next you are off to shop. The cart isn't big; you only get three small bags in the cart. Inside the shopping cart there are sensors both in the front and in the back. See my photo. When you decide on an item, you just place the item into the cart and the sensors will read the item and you'll see the price appear on your screen. What they do not communicate any where that I looked, is that when it comes to weighing things, you have to put it on the top of the cart just behind the sensor as that is the scale, you then will enter the sku number on the screen and the weight and price of the item will show. Once you are done shopping, you go back to the entrance where the carts were and there's a lane that you exit through. You complete your shopping by selecting save and exit on the screen. You also have an option to view receipt. P.S. They also have a salad bar, Deli, hot bar and pizza station all with humans working them. I purchased from the salad bar and the items were fresh and presented nicely. Overall I enjoyed my shopping once I figured out how to operate the cart. This experience isn't for someone who isn't into gadgets. I would not drive here to shop. Some things were pricey. Hey, you're paying to use technology. Tidbit: you can select a regular cart and go through checkout with an human!!!! Lol! Enjoy!

Amazon is getting into the warehouse, supersized grocery business with its Amazon Fresh supermarket. It's no accident that it occupies a former Giant, because it markets itself as the 21st Century way to shop both in person and online while in the store. I was there only to return something I had purchased directly from Amazon and had delivered to my front door. When we couldn't use it and attempted to return it, the options were no longer the local UPS store, but either this point or another retail establishment even further from home than this place (13 miles away). So, convenience is no longer part of the equation. Still, once there, the return center was in the rear of the A. Fresh, and was quickly scanned and accepted. No sweat, except for the hour drive to get to Warrington and back. While there I did take a look around as it was my first visit to an Amazon Fresh. It was all basic black and gray with industrial high ceiling and wide aisles. The standard groceries were equivalent to most larger supers, but the prepared foods were expansive and pretty good looking from multiple pizzas to salad/soup bars, deli, bakery and roast chicken (to keep pace with Costco). If I had the time and hunger I would have investigated these goodies further, but with spouse in car waiting for me, I just kept walking toward the exit. If comparison was requested, Amazon Fresh reminds most of a poor man's Wegman's for all the attractive choices, but with a more warehouse flavor. No where near as huge as Costco, nor as daunting to navigate if you only need a few household items, it falls somewhere between the two. Is it a positive addition to the oversized market universe? Not completely as it lacks anything that really stands out as unique or extra crispy, but for those living in the vicinity it probably makes sense as a reasonable alternative. Would I travel there to shop? Not a chance!

Rotisserie chicken $4.99

This is a decent size supermarket. Very clean store and friendly staffs. They had a fresh made pizza stand on the cafe side with other to go food available. First time I was here, I bought a whole pizza to go. It was freshly made. Yummy!! And their $4.99 rotisserie chicken was delicious and juicy. I am not a white meat person because I would throw them all to my husband. But I actually ate the white meat from their rotisserie chicken! They are not dry white meat like sand paper, they are quite juicy for white meat. And of course, the second time I visited here again, my husband and I bought their chicken again.

Hot bar and salad bar - chicken breast, broccoli and cauliflower, chicken pasta salad, egg roll

This recommendation is not for the actual grocery part of the store. I haven't been in this building in years , formerly Giant and before that, Genaurdi's. The interior is pretty dark and industrial. As many new businesses take over old spaces they realize that that look is in and can save $ by scraping away at most of the old building and just leaving the skeleton - concrete floors, beams and pipes etc. There seemed to be a lot of extra space like they aren't utilizing it all, particularly by the registers and the little eating area. When you first walk in there are many employees by the shopping carts I guess to explain things to you and help you sign up for smart carts. I bypassed all of that and went straight to the hot bar. I went on a week day so it wasn't full, there were many empty pans. The only real protein or "main" they had was chicken. Which was good but heavy. The staff that was there was super nice. The price I believe is 8.99 per lb. I got some hot stuff and some cold salad. I wish the hot bar offered more because I have been looking for a good hot bar since Wegmans stopped opening theirs due to the pandemic. Regardless my food tasted good , everything but the egg roll which was burned and over oily. I heard their pizza and sushi are good so maybe I'll back to check out other prepared foods. I did eat and then felt sick so I'm assuming they use a lot of oil, since mostly everything was fried.

Well, let's just say I'm still driving to Warminster, because the Jamison Grocery Outlet is awful. Where to begin? The store is so uninviting. The employess are not friendly at all and the shelves are bare. Also, they do not carry everything Warminster does and on certain items, their prices are higher than Warminster. I took my elderly mother to the Jamison store and the cashier rang up one item several times. I pointed it out to her, to which she told me to, "calm the f**k down". This is the type of employee you will find here. I realize the stores have different owners, but the Jamison management needs to go to Warminster and see how a successful store is run.

I've gone in a few times since they opened in (a part of) the old Genaurdi's/Giant space and I've…read morebeen impressed for the most part. Very clean and easy to navigate a lot larger than the other Grocery Outlet I go to in Warminster which can get cramped sometimes. I do think this location has more "brand name" of things I actually want to buy, however with that being said their prices are not that cheap. Some items - yes incredibly cheap. But seeing as they have a lot more permanent stock and better brands the prices really aren't that much cheaper compared to other stores.

I stand by some of the specifics I mentioned, but now, about a dozen visits later, I understood where I was wrong, and *how* Grocery Outlet is a regular money saving stop for me now. One thing I touched on in the original review was comparison pricing against Walmart. I still believe that in about half the cases, if something Grocery Outlet has is also available at Walmart, it'll be cheaper at Walmart. But, conversely, about half the items will be cheaper at Grocery Outlet. It's also true that some products are closer to their "best by" date at Grocery Outlet, but that almost always results in it being drastically cheaper. I think the methodology to use when visiting Grocery Outlet, is to make it your *first* stop, with the understanding that you will be picking up select items there, and then also stopping somewhere else (yes - the savings are big enough to justify the cost of driving elsewhere). I now know the items that are regularly less expensive at Grocery Outlet, and I also know that there are going to be fantastic deals on spontaneous discoveries that will easily substitute for something that will be more expensive elsewhere. For example, frozen pizza, frozen meals, and snacks, are now things I buy exclusively at Grocery Outlet. The store is well maintained, more so than I first reported, and the employees are friendly and helpful - especially once you get to know them. And lastly, but no less important, you're supporting a family operated business. Now, I am a regular and happy shopper at Grocery Outlet.

I always save a ton of money when I shop here and the staff are super friendly and helpful. I found a Fortnite bed in the bag here for my daughters bed for a whopping $25- what a steal! Bag of Tyson Chicken wings for $9.99. Ice cream deals for like $2.

She has a known allergy to crab, and it is clear that the salmon had come into contact with crab or crab residue at some point prior to or during handling at your store. I spoke directly with the store manager, Bob, who expressed sympathy but offered no assurance or accountability. He stated that the contamination could have occurred "anywhere before the salmon got to the store."I emphasized during our conversation that cross-contamination of allergens can be life-threatening and must be treated with the highest level of care and urgency. This is not only a distressing experience for my family--it also represents a significant public health risk. Many individuals with severe allergies rely on clear separation of seafood products and proper food handling procedures, especially from trusted grocery providers like Giant. Even though this is the closed Giant to my house I will never shop there again.

I have hda to go outside of the store just to see the Giant app. They also recently put in a "no plastic bag" policy which they said is required by the township. They do offer paper bags (which you have to pay for) This would not be too bad is the bags weren't so cheap the rip when you lift them. I will continue to use another Giant store, not the Doylestown one.
