Patel bros gives us economic supplies with good quality. It is our family's go-to spot for Indian groceries like if I wanted mustard seeds, or red chillie powder or lime pickle. They do have a good selection of vegetables and frozen food. Ready-to-eat parathas/rotis/nan are great here. Love the 'samosa' selection. And yes, they do carry good selection of fresh and frozen Indian sweets. From outside it looks like a small corner shop, but it is huge inside. I've seen other Indian shops not upto the mark in cleanliness but this one does make every attempt to keep the store clean. Also, when most stores were short of supplies or hiked up prices on essentials, Patel Bros did not and supplies were available at the same reasonable prices. I recommend shopping at Patel store. No comparison with Wholefoods or TraderJoe, but they have their own unique selection of food items.

I grabbed my sandwich and sought out help for a side of hot peppers for my sandwich and couldn't find them. I then had the pleasure of meeting Michelle who was in the area (she was near the sushi/pizza area). I explained to Michelle what I was looking for and she stopped what she was doing and enthusiastically helped me with getting some peppers for my sandwich. She was kind, engaging and genuine - so congratulations on your employee screening and training, she's a winner. Lastly, I was a little annoyed about the side lot being tented and closed. When I brought it up to MIchelle she proudly said that it was closed for an employee event and went on to explain how valued your culture has made her and other employees feel. They feel appreciated and that is a win for you as the management team. There are 5 super markets in the area none of which I had an allegiance to until today, thanks to all of your efforts and Michelle.

Eventually, I made my way to the produce department all the way on the other side of the store, only to find that the broccoli I was looking for was out of stock. Although that was a disappointment, the staff member who was there stocking things was so friendly about it, even showing me an alternative to the broccoli I was looking for. I didn't end up buying anything this trip, and I may not be back frequently since it's not that convenient of a location, but I did very much appreciate that staff member's friendliness and helpfulness!

I waited for the top to thaw before putting it on my bottom crust. as it thawed it smelled like feet which ruined my meal. food is too expensive for it to spoil so quickly and management should take effort to remedy this problem. I will take my business to the shoprite in langhorne or the wegmans in Yardley from now on as I refuse to risk my health and waste more money buying products that aren't being stored properly.

I have been shopping at Whole Foods my entire adult life. I have to order on line now…read more The experience of calling in to the store to have a question answered was horrendous. I just spent over 40 minutes on hold during three phone calls, attempting to have my question answered about preparation of the fish to prevent parasites in sushi. I finally spoke with someone in LEADERSHIP, and she gave me the reassuring answer about the freezing process which they do use to kill parasites. Yay! I have been disappointed in the quality of fruits and vegetables recently, so to my chagrin I have begun ordering from Walmart, a store I have hated my whole life due to their invasiveness and destruction of small stores. Anyway, I have found better quality fruits and veg and everything at significantly lower prices. But the best part is their delivery; the people follow instructions and don't arrive a half hour early or drop my groceries in the lobby 12 floors beneath mine. Unfortunately, there are some items I cannot obtain from Walmart, like sushi. So I have to continue shopping Whole Foods as well.
