I'm a regular customer who shops at all your locations and I'm usually greeted kindly by familiar staff. However, during a recent visit, I was upset to overhear associates speaking negatively about me after I politely asked if a pair of scuffed clogs could be discounted. One staff member even acknowledged the damage and said she'd look into it, yet others were overheard saying I "always ask for discounts" and that the shoes were "in perfect condition and $8 off was a generous discount." This was not only untrue but also hurtful, especially given that this is a thrift store where price negotiations are common. And thrift stores are known to be "Affordable" places to shop, it felt like I was being shamed for asking. I've never caused any problems, and being spoken about that way made me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable returning. read more

As good as a Macy's can be I suppose. Especially in this day and age post COVID. No one wants to work anymore and that is evident when you enter a lot of establishments like this Macy's. I couldn't find anyone to help me. Luckily what I needed help with wasn't so pressing so I actually didn't purchase anything from Macy's and wound up at another store in the mall. This Macy's location is pretty great. Everyone that has ever helped me in the cosmetics department deserves 5 stars. The upstairs clothing departments for women are usually organized well and most registers are open. The housewares area is a bit lacking. Small and they don't seem to have as much as other locations. That aside, I enjoy shopping here. Most of the staff is pleasant and I always have tons of coupons. Every year I take part in their, Thanks for sharing program. For a $25 enrollment fee, I get 10% back from purchases 8/31 to end of December (?) in the form of a Macy's gift card. $10 from the $25 goes to various charities such as MAKE A WISH , BREAST CANCER RESEARCH FOUNDATION , GO RED , READING IS FUNDAMENTAL, etc . This time of year, the rewards add up quick. Definitely one of the better Macy's locations. read more

I had a fantastic customer service experience at this location today. I arrived at store opening for MACs National lipstick day giveaway. Although MAC promised a free lipstick to everyone they prepared by only sticking 65 lipsticks. The manager quickly realized the issue and acted swiftly by giving e eryone in line a $25 gift card! This was not Navy's fault but it was handled with class even when some customers were showing some unpleasant sides of themselves. I commend this location and the manger for their actions. If this location would expand their Macy's Woman department I'd be back to shop but until then it's the NYC location for me! read more

I visit this Macy's often because I work near the Oxford Valley Mall. I like that it is pretty clean and well organized. The kids section has a great selection of Ralph Lauren clothes and the handbag section carries the top brands. You can beat the Macy's sales on high end brands for women and men's. read more

Oh, Macy's, you're better and worse. I used to shop a lot here when I was working at Delaware Valley Med Ctr. I bought a TV and a VCR here, along with quite a few clothes and kitchen items. They were especially important since Target wasn't here at the time. The store has changed a lot since that time, as has the whole area. The aisles are wider in the store, thankfully. I can only imagine the disasters of snagging some merchandise while you trying to navigate the narrow aisles. Now, it's not a big problem. They have a good assortment of brands. They're no Strawbridge & Clothier but you can shop for the same brands coast-to-coast and know that you're getting what you want. Their off-sale prices aren't horrible, but it's much better to shop the sales and clearance. My inbox is inundated with Macy's sales notices but these days, I don't find as much. Maybe, it's that my house is as full as my inbox, and it takes something really special or necessary for me to buy. Considering how the other end of the mall is rather dark and empty, I'm glad that Macy's is still at Oxford Valley Mall. read more

I stopped here for the MAC lipstick giveaway debacle. After waiting in line for hour 30 minutes before they opened their doors we were shocked to see another line inside with over 300 people there. This was very disappointing to find out they let the other line in first basically giving us no chance at the freebie. One of the managers saw us leave disappointed and stopped us as we were walking out the door. He apologized and gave us each $25 in Macy's cash. It was so nice of him to go out of his way to make us happy. I was very grateful. I can't wait to spend it! read more

What a bad experience. I buy a G-Shock from a Macy's in NJ yesterday. I decided I didn't like it the next day and to return it at a different location in PA on my way to the airport. First question they asked: did they size it for you? I said yes. They say we cannot return it. The lady pointed at the receipt showing me no return if altered. I pointed at the spare links. She got the manager Renee involved. Same answer. They can't be serious. I would give a zero for customer service especially when the first Macy's said there was a return and never mentioned anything. read more

As a Macy's goes, this is a good one. It's always pretty neat and orderly, and the restrooms here are far cleaner than those at any other Macy's I've encountered. The service personnel are also more competet than the average employee at the other Macy's near me (Quaker Bridge). This Macy's has a MAC counter- a definite plus- but sadly the salespeople working there are often aloof, snippy, and just act like they'd rather stand and chat with each other than, you know, sell makeup. When Macy's does an after-sale sale, and the prices are up to 80% off the original, I can find useful, quality merchandise in the Men's Department. The area is clean, organized and fairly relaxed for finding a style and quality I like. At those discounts the value is greatly enhanced and it can compete with the deep dive price warehouses like TJ Maxx and Target. Just picked up a couple of very nice sweaters at very attractive prices. You don't even need to bring all those coupons that arrive in the mail or online. The cashier will willingly give every discount available as you check out. read more

You can really tell a lot about a place when you make a purchase. You learn even more when you make a return. Today I returned a beautiful red dress that I bought for an event that I reconsidered. I had tags attached, it was never worn, I had a receipt, and didn't even contest the fact that since I had somehow lost track of the AmEx Gift card I had purchased it with, I was receiving a store credit card. However, this particular associate treated me like a common criminal. Not only did she make sure to quadruple check to make sure the numbers on the tag matched those on the receipt (and there was only 1 item on the receipt), she also spent about 5-10 minutes checking over the entire garment, looking for snags or anything she could pin on me. She also made a big deal that I wanted to keep the original receipt (in case anything was wrong with the store credit) and she made a big deal and tried to refuse by saying "You don't really need it. You only had the one item." When I insisted, she frowned and searched for a black marker so she could obnoxiously write the word "Return" and the full date in the biggest possible letters. As a customer, it made me feel very uncomfortable since it appeared that this associate was trying to find any possible way of refusing/resisting the return while making me feel like a criminal in the process. This experience left a horrible taste in my mouth, so horrible that I made sure to tell a store manager about it. The woman I talked to was thoroughly concerned about my experience and really seemed to want to fix it; she made note of the employee number and the item that was returned so that she could speak to the associate about the appalling way I was treated. When I buy something, I want to feel appreciated. So although I had a major problem with the way I was treated during that return, the manager seemed to genuinely care about how to fix my problem. read more

I dont usually shop at Macy's unless its a big sale or I have a ton of discounts cards lol. The mens dept here to me is pretty small. To me it not much of a selection. You can find some really cheap and good clothes if you look deep enough in their clearence racks. I have also purchased a bed here too. The customer service guy did an excellent job. No sales pressure and was easily accessable to questions. Overall, its an ok store, its usually hit or miss in finding any items your looking for. read more

Macy's is a dying breed. Their massive mark ups on products affords them the way to "deep discounts" when cash is tight. Same applies to Bloomingdale's, Lord & Tailor, Sears etc. The digital age is here & they still haven't really put it to use. Yes they have websites & send sale emails, but the $ are still the same. Companies like Primark has taken the Forman Mills approach to retail by cutting thru the supply chain in order to sell it cheaper. Ex; Shirt costs them 14.00, they sell at 22.00. The idea is a lower price to move more mass versus sit on it beyond 90 days. The big stores need to look at what they are doing & follow their example or die. read more

For men's clothing A-OK, quality and fairly large selection also good quality furniture and housewares although not the cheapest. Seems like there is always a sale going on, look for mailer coupons for even additional discounts. Suggest getting their credit card for the best deals, with Plenti points. Not a big fan of their three level tier layout but never long waits to check out and service is OK. If you're a Macy's lover, than this is one of the better locations I have been to. read more

I've been to my fair share of Macy's over the years and just had to write a review about my experience at this location a few days ago. I went in to "look at shoes" lol yeah like that ever happens. After browsing through their 12-15 racks of 75% off shoes, I decided I couldn't possibly fit any more shoes in my arms and headed over to the chairs. A lovely older woman came over and asked if she could get me the matching pair for any of the shoes I had in my moutain next to me. As a budget friendly shopper, I knew my price points on each shoe and asked if I could please have the prices. This associate came back with little pieces of paper handwritten and neatly placed in the soles of each shoe. That is going above and beyond as far as customer service. Pleasant attitude the ENTIRE time, even when I settled on a pair she couldn't find a match for, this sales associate tirelessly searched to ensure I got the match. I would go back here just to deal with her courteous personality and great work ethic! read more

Tried to reach them on the phone about an online order scheduled for pick up at the store and got hung up on twice by representatives who seemed bothered by my question about my order. This is specifically for the Mac makeup counter. My wife made an appointment for a makeover. The "artist" wasn't really following the picture shown to her and was very sloppy. She also kept stepping away to help other customers and making up other people. While you may be understaffed, you shouldn't be doing all these other things when you have someone in the chair waiting. read more

About two weeks ago, I went with my mom to Macy's home department specifically to find gifts on a bridal registry. It had to be the most random list, and everyone knows what a pain in the ass registries are!! I gotta give to Leon, he was our savior!! We really asked him to find just about every item on the list, and he couldn't have been more helpful. We had him running back and forth from the computer, displays and the stock room. He was nothing but polite and patient with us. And genuinely so! Not that faking a smile til your back is turned kind of sales associate. He was the best! Look for him next time you have to go a bridal shower. He made shopping for it a little less painful :) read more

I went to Macys today to pick up an order for a coat I purchased. When I walked in I asked a cashier where I go to pick up my order. She sent me to the jewelry counter. A blond haired lady and an indian lady sent me up to the home dept. when I got upstairs I didn't know where to go. A man saw me with my invoice and directed me to a counter where an older lady with over processed looking hair had to decide if she was going to wait on me or not. All she told me was she needed my id While she went to get my order. She came out with a large bag. I was surprised they stuffed a down coat into a shopping bag. I told her I was expecting it on a hanger in a garment bag. She then replied "Oh we put everything in a bag." So once all was said and done I walked over to look a the women's plus section which was extremely disappointing. The clearance was a mess, the variety of non clearance clothing was poor some of the racks looked sparce. I then went downstairs to see the women's winter accessories. I found a scarf I decided to buy. It was on sale for $19.99. When I went to look for a cashier there weren't any to be found. There was only one worker in Finish line helping a customer and some workers in the makeup area sitting around chatting. The only cashiers I found were the two genius's in jewelry. So I went over and said '' I wanted to check out but could not find a cashier.'' So the blond lady said she could ring me up. I had forgotten my coupons and I mentioned it to the blond lady and she said she had one a 15% off and she scanned it for me and it took $5 off but then she asked me if I was using a macys card. I told her not today and she then revoked the discount and claimed she had no other coupon to help me. How freaking rude and ignorant is that!!!! These people that work at this store are such greedy indian givers. She then asked me if I still wanted to purchase the scarf? She said oh it's still on sale so it's a good price.Yeah but the $5 discount is money she didn't have to work for. Last time I checked the money wasn't coming out of her pocket. So I went through and purchased the scarf because I needed it for a gift. I felt annoyed though that I was being treated with discrimination. So if you don't use a macys card to make your purchases in that store you are not permitted to recieve a discount or allowed to use any coupons.Apparently the cashiers need the discounts more than I do. No wonder the company is going bankrupt, they have world class genius's like Terry Lundgren running the company!!! read more

This is the second time I've gone there since moving back to this area from Delaware. First, let me say, it is a holiday weekend and you might expect some disorganization. The operative word here is SOME. This place was a pig sty. Clothes and hangers were all over the floor, hanging over the racks, on counters and even on display shelves. Shirts were in with the pants. Pants were in with dresses. Sizes were in complete disarray. I defy anyone to find anything in the clearance rack. Most all of the clothes were on hangers that had sizes on them, but the clothes were not the sizes printed on the hangers. It was trying to find a "Needle in a haystack." At one point, while trying to navigate my cart through an isle and attempting to avoid a CLUSTER of clothes on the floor (Oh yes, and I spent time picking some clothes up off the floor, putting them on hangers and placing them back onto the racks), veering my cart to the left, there was a heavy, three foot shelf standing length wise against a wall. My cart hit it and the shelf fell on my left hand and scraped it. Luckily for me, I wasn't hurt because I am left handed. Lucky for the store I'm not one of those people who would fall on the floor and hire a lawyer. That was when I had enough and had an employee call the manager on duty to tell her my thoughts on the whole situation. And no, it wasn't said with anger either. She and all the associates were very nice, friendly and concerned about my feelings regarding the store. The manager did make the excuse that it was a holiday weekend. My reply to her was, "There really isn't ANY excuse for this mess." I told them since this was my second time in the store, both times it was this disheveled and disorganized, I would not ever be back. And please let me state, after being there the last time and going through the same thing then, I called the manager on the phone and told her. I could go on about the clothes they put on sale and the quality (or should it be said, LACK of quality) they've become, but I won't. This post is long enough. I will never go back to Macy's; Neshaminy or otherwise. read more

went to buy a coffee maker this morning. NO SALES PERSON ANYWHERE. lovely woman from cosmetics happened to be coming by and asked a woman from back of house if she could help me. i had been waiting for several minutes. the woman didn't even look at her and SHOT BACK LOUDLY that she was BUSY!!!!! but- she then came back with another customer and preceded to ring HER up. the cosmetics woman was helping me even though it was not even her dept. i was FURIOUS at the way the young woman KELLY SPOKE TO HER AND WAS SO RUDE. I TOLD HER SHE OWED MARIA an apology . and also me. she just gave me a very snotty attitude and huffed off. during this time the sales person assigned to the dept. came back. they all seemed like they were TERRIFIED OF THIS KELLY. well, i had more shopping planed for Macy's, but was so angry, i left and vowed NEVER TO USE THIS LOCATION AGAIN.
