Decided I wanted some donuts one morning and got the glazed and old fashioned donuts. Donut prices are very reasonable. They have plenty of other variety of donuts as well as coffee. The staff was friendly and the place was clean. There is something about their glazed donuts that is just heavenly. It's not overly glazed nor overly sugary but just the right amount. The donut was light and fluffy. I think it may have been the best glazed donut we've ever had. My party of 4 all agreed. The old fashioned was also good but you gotta try the glazed. If you are in the donuts or anything, that is really sweet try this place. These are the most wonderful donuts I've ever eaten in my life. They are cooked all day long so they are always fresh. They are extra large. You can't believe that they are the same price as other donut shops they come in a variety. They're absolutely wonderful and they melt in your mouth when you bite into them. Besides that they are so friendly there there are some donut shops in this town where people are just so crabby especially the one on Grant near Oracle. But these people are pleasant and helpful and smile and they never say a crappy thing to you and yes, they are pricey. Probably about the same price as Amy's, which are also excellent donuts, but not as good as these. These are advertised as being Arizona's best donuts and I think they are right because of the taste the size and the freshness. And it is a super clean place. It's a 10 it's a winner. We woke up Christmas morning with a sudden urge for donuts. Looking for open shops quickly showed BoSa as the only donut shop or grocery store open for miles. I rushed down and the place was packed with customers with the same urges. This was our second visit since their opening and I should have returned sooner. I got carried away and ordered 1 1/2 dozen assorted raised donuts missing the cake donuts in my haste. The textures of these donuts are similar to Crispy Cream but tastier. While I have been buying donuts most recently in the grocery stores I will have to remember to give BoSa more business. They are local, the staff friendly and efficient, the establishment very clean and orderly and very important, the donuts fresh and tasty. I was only able to put down three varieties in one setting and they were all good. Gotta watch the sugar and calories these days. Pretty good donuts (not necessarily the best as their slogan says but solid!) on the east side of town. If you like the fluffy, not super sweet style of donuts, this a good spot to go. Our favorites are the sugar and the pink frosted donuts. My mom loved the cinnamon sugar twist - like the sugar donut, lightly dusted with sugar. The jelly filled ones are okay (though I am biased and they're not my favorite at baseline), but seemed a little too sweet. Overall, recommend going to BoSa Donuts when craving no fuss, no frills donuts. read more

I wish I could buy more than one donut and not eat them right away, and since I do not have that will power I bought one Boston cream donut. It was so soft, fresh and delicious with cream oozing out! Solid B tier donut shop - my friends and I got a dozen donuts and they were all pretty good. Staff was nice and fast!

Their slogan is "The best donuts in Arizona".... Nope. They are pretty good, 3+ stars, a top-tier donut, but they better be for the way they empty your wallet. A raised glaze and a Bismark set me back $3.06. Yikes! Donut Wheel on Kolb and Golf Links has nothing to worry about. Donut Wheel on S. Country Club is next. (All Donut Wheels are now individually owned.) BoSa is a tad under Young Donuts, Donut Wheel on Valencia and Donut Wheel on Ina, and Donut King. I have yet to try Queen Donut 2, but that is such a long ways out west. I always try a raised glazed for baseline. Theirs was pretty good. Not as fluffy or melt-in-your-mouth goodness as Kolb Donut Wheel. The Bismark, ditto. And the Bismark's flavor was not as good. I went 15 minutes to closing at around 8:45 and their donut case was full. I guess that's good. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Tucson-top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Came here after picking up my daughter from summer school around 4:30p. Being that it was late afternoon we weren't expecting a lot from the donuts, since most spots stop making fresh donuts by lunch time. We feel that the quality of a glazed donut will tell you what you need to know about a donut shop. And BoSa's glazed are on point!!! The dough was light and fluffy and had a great chew to it. It was sweet, obviously but not overly, hurt your teeth sweet. The prices were very reasonable and they had a full case of donuts when we were there. We also got a mango smoothie with boba. And I was surprised by the quality of their boba. There are sandwiches, bagels and lots of other items which we look forward to trying when we come back. The staff were friendly and helped us figure out which drinks we could substitute in almond milk. This might be our new local donut spot and it's dangerous to know they're open to 9p when our late night cravings kick in. Go check this place out. read more

First time at BoSa Donuts. First thing I noticed was a stocked display case with a wide variety of offerings. Then I noticed many cooking racks behind the service area. Don't ever go to BoSa Donuts... because you will immediately become addicted to their donuts and coffee! Donuts are my heroin, my crack, my food of the Gods. When I die I want a dozen donuts placed in my casket with me. And I'd want them to be from BoSa! I've been to six different donut shops in Tucson. I've tried donuts at local grocers. And I can say without doubt that BoSa has by far the best donuts in the city. It's not even close. The donuts are so good I'd give 5 stars just for them. But BoSa also has really good coffee, they're open very early and close late, and best of all - the folks working there are genuinely friendly and appreciate their customers. If I went to BoSa as often I want to, I'd be dead from a sugar OD before I finish this review. So I have to only go about every 20th time I think of going. So I'm there once a week. No matter how far you are from BoSa, if you like donuts, I mean really like them, BoSa is worth the trip! read more

Heard good things so finally gave it a try since Young Donuts was closed for the day. Good prices here. I had the apple fritter, inexpensive at $2.xx and had a good consistency. Unfortunately, it had a weird aftertaste, so I am not sure of the quality of the oil. The flavoring buckets said they have "high fructose corn syrup" as their main ingredient. Ugh. My friend had 2 donuts, unfortunately again, they gave him the wrong one and not the powdered one I told the guy twice and pointed to. Communication seems to be an issue in that staff that was working didn't seem to understand English very well. The texture of all the donuts was good, but the flavor was just so-so. Kind of bland. We also got two "smoothies". Trust me, these are not smoothies. One strawberry/banana had no strawberry or banana not to mention no flavor. It tasted like the most artificial frosty ever. My friend got Pina Colada which was equally gross. We ended up tossing both of the drinks, which was $13 down the tube. My friend reported he got sick that night from the donuts or drink. What was good about it was the restaurant was very clean and has nice seating area. Pretty large, nice decor and good working air conditioning. If they would up the quality of their product and maybe have a staff member that understands English or at least when you point to the product, it might be worth another try. They have a huge variety everyday of fresh donuts...so many varieties. Its a hard decision to make. My favorites are the blueberry cake donut and the maple glazed buttermilk...so moist on the inside with a very slight crunchy exterior. They have many other items to eat and drink but I cant get past looking at those yummy donuts. I did see that they have Boba drinks. Always friendly staff and very clean inside. Bosas is my favorite place to grab donuts, and sandwiches. It's small, but has a huge menu, fast service and friendly staff. I recommend trying the Bear Claw donut.
