Stopped by this morning to pick up donuts for work (National Donut Day): *locally owned *freshly made donuts *Super awesome and friendly staff *Super reasonable prices ... I mean really reasonable... about $1.70 for a large freshly made cream filled donut!! *And importantly: the donuts are delicious with something for everyone- yeast donuts, cake donuts, fritters, long Johns, cream filled etc etc plus not greasy * Located in a strip mall- lots of parking *Clean and bright with some seating * Bonus: they also sell boaster/fried chicken. * Will be returning read more

I live right down the street so when I discovered this joint, I was super excited. I've been visiting daily around different hours and they never seem to disappoint. Their donuts are wonderful and you could tell that they're freshly made. The service was great and was told it was a family owned restaurant. The ambience was chill and had some seating area areas one can enjoy. Will be back to try their chicken items. read more

My hubby saw this place after a visit to Reid Park and decided to go in for a donut. While there he saw someone come in and get chicken. Chicken and donuts? Well, why not? The donuts are great and the broasted chicken is DELICIOUS! The staff and other customers are always pleasant and friendly. It's pretty far from us, but always worth the trip. read more

I had a chicken breast and two wings- they were so tasty- crunchy on the outside, moist and tender on the inside and super meaty. I may have to go again today! I've had their donuts many times and they're also great- the apple fritters are the best! read more

Last time I ate here was in April, 2024. It's close by my house. Donuts and Broasted Chicken Ambiance/Cleanliness-it's a donut shop by a 55+ community and reflects the vibe of the regulars. Unexciting but clean. 3 stars Service-Some of the nicest and most attentive shop owners I have ever met. The BEST service! 5 stars Food-Donuts are good, above average. Good selection and nothing avant garde, but not boring either. If you like donuts, you can come here and you will be happy. The Broasted chicken is exceptional. Of all the places I have lived and enjoyed donuts, this is the best, the Queen. If you're looking for what I call a traditional donut, you won't find better anywhere else. They are perfect in every way. The Broasters chicken is also phenomenal. Significantly better than any place I've had this type of fried chicken before. My kids were blown away the first time we had it. It stays crispy (how?!) and the meat stays juicy. I adore Queen Donut, the ladies who serve me every time I go in and even if I moved further away, I would still drive out to get their donuts. Only downside for me is they are closed Sundays which is my favorite day to get donuts. read more

This is a perfect hidden gem I'd recommend anyone to make the drive out to this location you will not be disappointed. Extremely friendly owners, fresh amazingly, delicious, donuts, chicken, and coffee. I'm so happy that I stopped by today on my walk through the neighborhood. I do DoorDash often and get orders from Queens today a customer order chicken n potatoes n donuts. It smell so good and fresh decided to come back n grab some of my own. The chicken it's so crispy and so fresh not greasy at all. The young lady that works there should have grabbed her name gave us two donuts to try for my girls n it was very soft n fresh I highly recommend this little corner give it a 5 start. It's not just a donut place although they're donuts are amazing I've had them twice I really enjoyed their cake donuts I haven't had a chance to try there raised donuts yet, but they found this little niche to serve broasted chicken late in the day which is really a good idea. They're chicken was hot fresh and delicious in the afternoon and the small thing is locals know it's good so it's next to a senior community of Tucson estates and a lot of working locals and the surrounding rancheros also go there for picking up a quick dinner and so it's not just a donut place. It's a unique combination of the owners are very smart to do it I'm sure it helps them with their revenue. So if you're a tourist it's worth a stop either going in for breakfast treats in the morning or hot broasted chicken on your way out of the park or the museum. read more

A couple of things about Queen Donuts 2 1) quality of the donuts ( and I spent quite a few years as a baker) spot on , very fresh , really well made , great flavor 2) The owners /counter people always friendly , always get a good morning , how are you ? My daughter and I have been meaning to pick up some donuts from Queen so we stopped in a couple weeks ago and got a dozen donuts to go. We also grabbed a piece of chicken each because we were hungry and it smelled really good. As far as the chicken goes, it was fresh and crispy. It could have been a bit more flavorful but we'll definitely give it another try. The donuts are where they really shine. They bake fresh daily and it shows. They weren't anything fancy or specially decorated. They were just damn fine donuts. Fresh, tasty, just the right amount of glaze and oh-so-good! read more

Happy to report my previous review still stands. So this time around I wanted to mention what a great environment this husband and wife team creates in their restaurant with their above average customer service. This place makes their customer feel like a friend of the family. It goes beyond the delicious broasted chicken and the as close to perfect as possible buttermilk doughnuts. These folks are genuinely kind and friendly to everyone who walks through the door. Queen Donuts 2 has become my go-to place on rough days when I'm in a funk. Between their unsurpassed customer service and delicious chicken and doughnuts, they're an instant mood lifter for me! Fried chicken and donuts. That's it, and it's delicious! Its not the most beautiful place, but they are good! I had the donuts before when a coworker brought them into the office. So I stopped to get some on my way to work. I expected it to just be a donut place... and nope! Fried chicken too! So I had to get some to try. I got an assortment of 18 donuts and a 2 piece dark. Yum yum! It was 10 am and the chicken was hot, fresh and flavorful! I had a glazed donut and a cinnamon roll one and both were delicious. I will be back! read more

Everything is incredible from donuts to chicken. Apple fritters, cinnamon rolls, maple long John, and Bavarian cream donuts and each one was just as good as the other. I had been searching for so long for excellent fried chicken in Tucson. After 3 years, I finally found it. I was hungry when I walked in. When I saw the chicken, I went from hungry to starving in 2.5 seconds and my mouth began to water. For 24 bucks I got an 8 piece mixed, two extra thighs, and a two piece tenders, and two apple fritters. I knew to order extra pieces because I drove 30 min and who knows how many pieces would have actually made it home. It was so crispy, yet so light, and so juicy. The apple fritter..ABSOLUTELY amazing. I believe the name of the lady working behind the counter was Amy. I told her how I was so excited to try it and how I drove so far. She sealed the deal with an extra chicken tender. Even while wearing a mask I could hear the smile in her voice. I am so happy I stumbled across this place. The donuts are fresh, fluffy, and perfectly cooked. I had a variety and each one was delicious. The cinnamon roll tasted even better than it smelled. We decided on a second visit after reading the fried chicken reviews and boy they were not wrong! The chicken had a crispy outside and juicy, tasty inside. The wedges are so thick it feels like you're eating a baked potato. I wasn't crazy about the Mac salad. I will be returning for more fried chicken and donuts! The best! Fresh wonderful donuts with a constant smile from the owner. They also serve fried chicken later in the day but I have never tried that. I wish the property owner for that location would spend some money to jazz up and better identify the mom and pop businesses in that location. read more

I had one of the best apple fritters I've ever had the other day. I also bought a lemon filled donut. It sat for 3 days I freshened it up in microwave and it was wonderful also. Wishing right now they were open on Sundays but I know they gotta rest sometime. read more

Every dish we have tried has been fresh, tasty and great presentation. They always have a diverse spread of pastries so we grab a few to take home. All of their pastries have been amazing. My favorite is their cronut and the raspberry pop tart. Lastly and maybe most importantly, is their delicious drinks. I love the butterfly pea mimosa! Their butterfly pea palmer is great as well. YUMMY! Their service is always great. Attentive and friendly servers. The ambiance is lovely as well- very welcoming, nicely decorated and a bright open space. The patio is quite large and dog friendly. One of the best brunch spots around- we look forward to coming back.

It had a nice finish and was very smooth, but I wouldn't have been able to guess it being flavored if I hadn't known. Both items were made from high quality matcha, so expect the steep price tag associated. Combined with the baristas being unable to differentiate between drink orders at the end of their bar, I wasn't really amazed given the reputation Brucha has. Maybe I didn't even receive my drink, and the above is all unfounded, but I won't be figuring that out anytime soon.
