Quesito, monkey bread and some good old coffee
Glorimar L.

Really cute spot. You can order from a small screen (like all places nowadays) nice music and ambiance, service was quick, menu was neatly presented and from coffee to monkey bread items were very tasty, not impressed with their regular quesitos but everything else was excellent.

What can I say - love the concept, love Manolo (minus the cigar). Went with my mom and sister as we were in the area. We wanted a quick breakfast. From the Ape outside to all the cool merchandise when you walk in, you can tell that they are all about that first impression. We got a tostadas, empanadas, coffee (Americano and cafe con leche), guava lemonade, empanadas (beef and chicken), croqueta de jamón and the star of the show - monkey bread! Everything was good with the exception of the beef empanada- didn't care for it.

Loved my experience at bored Cuban ! A very modern and artsy spot that is themed around a Cuban Ape from the Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT. Excellent stop near the airport to get coffee and casual Cuban food. They have a diverse and delicious selection of coffees. The staff put together the coffees quickly and not only were they great to look at, they were delicious. We ordered the whipped coffee and brown shaken expresso. Highly recommended ! Ohh and the guava frita is also phenomenal ! Go and enjoy !

Pumpkin donut and Cuban Poptart

The food here is very impressive. There isn't much English here or around this area and the server's primarily speak Spanish so know basic Spanish . The Cuban poptart was a great idea the Atmosphere is very open and relaxed as they play old school hip hop music.

Pan con Lechón
Alexa C.

I was a bit confused by the name because Cubans are anything but boring but their 2x1 pan con lechón special lured me in. I also added two croquetas as they also had a 2x1 special going on. The order was prepared quickly and while this was a takeout order, I did consume it rather quickly. I will say the croquetas were a bit soft and lacked crunch in my opinion but they were nicely packaged. The sandwiches were pretty tasty. I opted out of the spicy mayo sauce since I'm spicy enough. The onions were perfectly caramelized and the lechón wasn't soggy or fatty in any way which was a big deal to me. I personally hate it when the lechón has the gooey fat attached to it inside of a sandwich but that issue didn't arise here. The next time around, I'll try their arroz con leche. It was a perfect and affordable lunch option which I'm sure I'll use again in the near future.

Came here since it was on the way for a quick bite. It's a nice surprise! The place is decked out with graffiti sporting it's mascot which is basically a high monkey who I guess is supposed to be cuban. It's a big odd but as a cuban it's more silly than anything. You can order at the register or through a kiosk. We opted for the kiosk since it's our first time and we wanted to linger to stare at the menu. The kiosk is pretty cool but one froze up and restarted on us. We just made our way to the other to do our order. I got the hot honey pizza and my girlfriend got a vaca frita which comes with a sriracha ketchup and in a cuban bread with sweet plantains. She also got ape water which turned out to be 3.99 for tap water lol Im willing to forgive the 3.99 for tap water since the food overall was really great. I would get the pizza again and would like to try some other things on their menu. They also have trinkets involving their mascot for sale. Overall if you have the $$$ i recommend trying it at least once.

Food was good! Love the decor. Service was pretty fast considering how busy it was on a Sunday morning. It was good! We got a couple of things to share (ropa vieja empanada, ham croquetas & banana bread) The whipped coffee with almond milk concept is cool just doesn't mix well. All the Cuban coffee stays on the top. Other than that, we'd come again

Cronut and Chocolate Chip Cookie
Raul J.

I've come here 3 times and each time has been disappointing. The first time I order a cortadito and that was just okay. The second time I ordered monkey bread and the taste was okay, but it was so stale, as if it had been sitting there all day. Today I ordered a cronut and a chocolate chip cookie. The cookie was mediocre and the cronut tasted like absolutely nothing. It was almost impressively bland considering that it is caramelized and has powdered sugar on top. The lady that attended me today was nice but for the most part staff are unenthusiastic, both in their tone and demeanor. This place is always empty which I suppose I should take as a sign. I wish the silence that comes with the emptiness could be it's redeeming factor in that it would be a good place to study, but the seats are so stiff and uncomfortable that it's not even good for that.

I love how you walk in and are immediately greeted by vibrant colors, art on the walls, and a fun layout the whole space just pops and feels inviting. It's modern yet welcoming, and definitely stands out from your typical café setup. I also really liked how they offer both in-person service and the option to order from a screen super convenient depending on your mood. Whether you're in the mood for a friendly chat or a quick grab-and-go, they've got you covered. Their baked goods all looked amazing fresh and beautifully displayed. I tried the empanadas, and while they were good and nicely seasoned, they weren't quite the standout I was expecting. Still, the flavors were enjoyable, and I'd definitely come back to try a few more items next time. Overall, it's a cool spot with great energy, solid food, and a unique concept that makes it worth checking out.

I am obsessed with this place. My favorite is the iced cafe con leche. All the food is good. The chicken club, the quesadillas and the Mac & cheese are my go to. The merch is hilarious and greatly appreciated being Cuban myself. Totally recommend this really at any time of the date. You can eat as little or as much as you want. Great spot, services is very friendly.

Had passed by this place a couple of times and today I decided to stop by for breakfast. It's a fast food bakery that has a lot of different things to pick from. I'm not so thrilled about those places you have to actually order what you want from a screen and pay I think it's very time consuming and annoying for me, specially when it's your first experience going in. The staff was very friendly and made the experience a bit smoother The food was nothing out of this world but the experience of being in a different place made it nice

I am a regular visitor to Bored Cuban because of the amazing food that is served here. Its a blend of culture and basic culinary creativity. Never have I been dissatisfied or dissatisfied by the amazing food or the service. The staff is amazing, the food is amazing, the music is awesome as well! Congratulations to this team!

Good is 10/10 ! Awesome place to pick up or dine in. The Cuban 305 bowl is delicious. Food portions are filling. I come here twice a week. Always good service. The inside is super cool with graffiti and good music playing low in the background.

There was literally dirt/mud at the bottom and I took my first bite and it felt like biting into sand. Upon spitting the food out onto my plate it was black sludge. Literally my tongue and teeth were black. The waiter came by and grabbed the plate when I was in the bathroom. I spent about 10 minutes trying to get that BLACK SLUDGE out of my mouth. When I was spitting out the dirt/mud wife noticed the bus boys laughing at me and there was not a manger in sight. When I asked for a manager he did not even respond. No apology or anything just a look of confusion. Worst experience in a restaurant in my life and I love to eat and have been to many types of restaurant big and small. Cheap and expensive and this one takes the cake. We were so bummed as I see thousands of great reviews. But if there was a zero I would have given zero stars the way they handled the situation. If you eat there in the future make sure to check for DIRT/MUD.

Five of us ordered: 5 Cafecitos 1 Pan con Lechon 3 Pan con Bistec 1 Coladita 1 Timba Came out to $107.45 including a $10 tip. We already had a memorable Cubano sandwich so we explored other options. The Lechon was by far the crowd favorite flavor wise, but it is heavier with the pork fat. The garlic sauce is a must to help cut through the richness. We left supremely happy with the salty and garlicky fat flavors lingering on our tastebuds, rejuvenated by a quick shot of velvety espresso, and capped off with the sweet guava and tangy queso crema shake (La Timba). This location is nestled in a food court style area, with a few restaurants offering sit down table service as well. And when I say offering, the sales tactics are reminiscent of timeshare sales zombies standing in an idle state until you mistakenly stop for a BEAT and then it's game on for them. Luckily at Sanguich, they have a few dedicated seats and tables for themselves and they'll come drop your order for you. A little bit of a scavenger hunt to find it, but well worth the adventure. The views out on the water are a bonus too.

We ordered a ton, and right off the bat: if you love croquetas and empanadas, order extra. They're on the smaller side and come individually, but they are so good they disappear fast. The beef empanadas were a 10/10 perfectly seasoned and crispy. The chicken empanadas didn't hit the same for me, but the jamón croquetas? Absolutely insane. A must. For appetizers, the prawns al ajillo were delicious super flavorful and cooked perfectly. We also tried the grilled octopus, which was good, but not my favorite. It leaned a bit bland for my taste, even with the sauce. Now, the must-get: the carnitas with pickled onions. Easily one of the best dishes of the night so flavorful, tender, and perfectly balanced. For entrées, we had the ribeye steak and arroz con pollo, plus sides of tostones and yuca. Everything here delivered. The steak was cooked perfectly and seasoned just right not overly salty. The arroz con pollo was phenomenal, the kind of dish you could eat every single day. The tostones were crispy and tossed in garlic, which took the flavor to another level, and the yuca was melt-in-your-mouth good. I also ordered a mojito, which unfortunately was very watered down, I barely got any of that classic mojito flavor. Service overall was solid, especially considering how loud the restaurant gets it was honestly hard to hear each other at the table, so shoutout to our server for keeping everything straight. The appetizers came out quickly, back-to-back, which we loved. The only downside was the wait for the entrées they took quite a while after we finished the apps, even though we ordered everything at once. Overall, amazing food, great energy, and definitely worth going just be prepared for a lively (and loud) atmosphere.

Unfortunately, our other server disappeared and never checked up on us. We pretty much didn't have any napkins during our entire duration of our meal. At least that part was good. We started off with a couple of mojitos and their Vaca Frita Tostones. You get these homemade maduro tostones topped off with shreeded beef in a moon sauce, pickled onion, and aji Amarillo aioli. A very delicious dish that didn't last long. Shortly after we received our main dish. I really hate when they do that. My wife ordered their Abuelas Ropa Vieja and I ordered their Masa de Puerco Chino. My wife didn't really care for her dish much. We've had plenty of Ropa Vieja before and would have preferred a congri type of rice as opppsed to just plain white rice. My dish was 10/10. Like in the name of "chino" this is an Asian inspired dish with fried rice, maduros, pineapple confit and crispy pork. A very delicious dish. It could have don't without the little salad on top, but at least it ads color to the dish. The crispy pork tasted so amazing and the fried had so much flavor. Mix in some of the maduros and you get a sweet and savory dish. Would definitely be returning to try this dish again.

We ordered the Cuban sandwich and the Cuban burger, and honestly both were dangerously good. The Cuban sandwich was exactly what you hope for -- crispy bread, perfectly pressed, packed with flavor, and the kind of sandwich that makes you pause mid-bite and just nod at the person across from you like "yep... this was the right decision." The Cuban burger was also fantastic -- juicy, flavorful, and big enough that you start questioning whether you should have skipped breakfast. The area around the restaurant was great too.
