From my first visit to a Verizon wireless store to transfer my family's phone lines from T Mobile to the new carrier things were wrong. I was told my mother could get her number activated remotely only to find out they disconnected her T Mobile line without starting the Verizon one, and were shipping me a SIM card instead. This was a problem because until her retirement, she worked as an educator in a high-crime area of Glendale. The same thing happened to my fiancée; who thankfully worked from home and was largely unaffected by this snafu. When I went into the corporate Verizon store I was once again lied to by an agent named Jonathan, who told me he would be able to activate the lines over the phone after the SIM cards arrived. I waited, and when the SIM cards arrived I called Jonathan only to learn that I would have to go into the store anyway. After taking time off work to get this done it was finally achieved, a week after it should have been resolved. Unfortunately, the promises Jonathan made to me regarding the discounts and waived activation fees for the lines were just as empty as the rest of the words I've received from Verizon agents. I had to pay an $800 bill just to get my family plan started. Six months later I made the mistake of calling my local Verizon Wireless store to attempt a surprise phone upgrade for my fiancée. The agents I spoke on the phone with, Renzo and Jah, both told me that my local store had the specific iPhone she wanted in stock and would be able to upgrade her phone today. I took time off work and we made a morning of it, but when we arrived at the store they not only did not have the iPhone in stock, it isn't in stock anywhere in the phoenix valley! I spoke with a corporate customer care representative and they confirmed that model is on a 10-day back order, and is not available in Phoenix. This company is inherently dishonest and I would not recommend them even as a last ditch option. If there is a better option for cell service in the city Maricopa please reach out to me. Verizon's best competitor has a family plan waiting for them. If you are on the fence about starting a plan with this company and have another option, I would think again.

During a visit to a store, an employee inserted a SIM card into my phone, asked for my account PIN to set me up, and then kept the SIM card, telling me I didn't need it. Shortly afterward, I began experiencing serious issues with my phone, including what sounded like eavesdropping or unauthorized access. I had someone check to see if I were imagining things and they too could hear it. I later contacted authorities and was advised that I may have been a victim of SIM swapping and fraud. This is a serious security issue that can expose personal and financial information. I attempted to resolve this directly with the store by calling and leaving a message for management, but never received a response. I also reached out to corporate in which they are working with me. I have since escalated the matter further due to the severity of the situation. What's especially concerning is the apparent lack of awareness among staff about how sensitive SIM cards and account PINs are. Mishandling this information can cause significant harm to customers. As a result of this incident, I now feel forced to replace my phone entirely and take additional steps to secure my personal information. I strongly urge Verizon to investigate this situation thoroughly, improve employee training on security protocols, and ensure customers are protected from potential fraud.

He was patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely took the time to help me without making me feel rushed. I came in needing help with my charger, and he made the whole process so easy. He explained my options, made sure I got exactly what I needed. He also answered all my questions about my current plan and made sure I understood everything before I left. Safe to say... I am new to Arizona and have had Verizon for as long as I can remember on my mom's plan. It was way past time for an upgrade and My mom who is the primary on the account , was visiting from Texas so we went to this store here 4901 E Ray Rd, Ste 110, Phoenix, AZ 85044. This day we took home a new IPad, 2 watches and my new phone. The horrible experience started with the advisor Daniel not being upfront about a set up fee for each device we left with that day! He kept saying an activation fee will be billed and you pay the taxes on all items . We understood that fine . We also accepted the fact that he charged us the 35 additional fee for my phone iPad , my watch and my mom's new watch. However nothing was actually set up in the store. I returned today July 15 to turn in my phone and my mom's watch . I did not have my mom's password for her watch. He kept saying he can't do anything until I get that. I understood that, I was frustrated with my mom for her not answering the phone and causing him to wait since he was talking about he needed to go to lunch. My frustration then began with him and the General Manager who just sat there as Daniel keeps telling me how many days I have left and just come back. I repeatedly said I will wait until I get the password I work long hours and 6 days this week I need to leave it here. The nonchalant treatment I experienced today from not just the employee but the manager also is not a good look and I've never been treated that way in any other state I've lived in and got service. I could see if it was close to closing but at like 1 o'clock in the afternoon and me being the only customer in the store as a black woman with 3 white male employees, and I'm being told to just come back . Ten minutes later I got my mom on the phone and left the watch. I will never go back to that store. The whole vibe gives discriminatory , entitled and lazy!What kind of manager wants to actually have someone leave there store with that experience . And if the set up was actually done why did we have to Leave the store with the product we were exchanging! He convinced us to get the extra items and I was happy to have them but my moms been a loyal customer for years but for some rude employee to try to make her feel like she should be happy she got the deals if it's coming from him is unacceptable! ATT.... you would be wise to tell Sage your marketing specialist that she just gave your company and the Warner/Cooper store a bad name. She was rude to me, but more astonishing was her dismissive and rude attitude towards a fellow employee that I was working with. It was bad. Now of course Sage The Marketing Specialist may have been having a bad day but she really was in bad form and made that store look bad. However, special shout out to Sydney who was the employee I was directly working with. She's new and is in training and while she was treated poorly by Sage, she was able to overcome that and remain polite, friendly and professional. She just needs to go work somewhere that has management that treats employees with respect and NOT with a dismissive condescending attitude like Sage.

My Wife and I have had consumer Cellular for years now, and have been extremely happy with their price, their service and not one lost or interrupted call in the years we've had them... that does not say much for competitors. We are actually saving over $100 per phone per month since starting use of their service. Although dealing with them primarily online, recently we had the need to replace both our phones and decided to shop at one of their brick-and-mortar location. I must say, not just did we walk away with new phones, but walked away very happy and appreciative of their expertise, customer service and terrific store.
