Also after my repair my camera and Face ID was not working. I called the manager and tried to get the problem recktified. After some back and forth he decided to diagnose the problem for me for free. I took it in and received with my camera working as it did before. I originally had a bad review but since the manager rectified the problem. I'll leave them with a 4 star due to my troubles. Summary: Check camera, face id and all necessities before you leavemaybe lock apps with very private information. Don't need them seeing my commission UPDATE.. After my phone was fixed now there is a specific place on the screen that cannot be pressed on. Another hassle. I'm going to call and try to see if they can fix this problem. It's like every time I go to them to fix a problem I end up with a new one‍‍‍

The response was that is because they put the cheapest screen, but they never gave me the options to choose from. When I get back home I noticed another issue - important display issue message that never comes away (the photo is attached). In the next two days I also noticed the battery capacity reduced significantly while I was barely using my phone! Before I brought the phone to Cellular ER the battery lasted whole day and even longer, and I used my phone for making photos, watching videos and music listening. So I finally gave them a call, and they explained that the battery capacity reduced due to the cheaper screen! You guys should disclose all these to your customers before! Knowing all these from the very beginning I would never pay this money and rather bring my phone to Apple and pay twice.

Okay I would first of like to say I have been a loyal customer of this establishment for 4 years…read moreand have refereed many people here to buy phones/repair phones. Now I am going to take my business elsewhere if the current issue with my phone isn't resolved. My phone had what I believed to be some water damage. I brought it in and the manager said it needed a new motherboard (after running diagnostics), so I said okay lets fix the phone. He told me it would be fixed in a weeks time. So, I decided to purchase a new phone because I couldn't go a week without the phone. Purchased a new phone, went home, boyfriend surprised me with a temporary phone. Went back, returned the phone and paid the stocking fee even though I cleaned the phone out, and told the manager to go ahead and start fixing the phone. Cost $120.00 for repairs and another $100.00 for restocking fees. $220.00 I have already paid (plus the phone being replaced I purchased from them in the spring) A week later I receive a call saying that I need to pay an additional $120.00 because there is damage to the screen and they need to replace the screen and oh yea, they also broke it further so there are more damages that need to be done beyond the screen being fixed. I explained that since they broke the phone that they needed to fix this for free, and although the girl I spoke to agreed with me, the MANAGER didn't. He said that although they broke the phone further, I still need to pay the $120.00 WHAT THE HELL. Why would I PAY for their mistakes? They ran diagnostics prior, told me the problem was one thing, and then broke it further and want ME to pay for their mistakes? When I refused they said I could pick up the phone and receive a full refund or I could pay an additional 20.00 for them to run another diagnostic test?! What? I said how about you keep the $120.00 and just fix my phone. The girl again agreed, talked to the manager, and he wouldn't budge. Now if I go pick up my phone it will be damaged beyond repair BY THE COMPANY and they WONT FIX it?! I am really hoping the owner of the store sees this because this is the worst customer service I have ever experienced and like I said I have been coming here years and telling people to come here and I am seriously about to tell everyone to stop coming here and start going a few blocks down the street to the other cell phone repair shop where they also sell phones too for EVEN LESS.

It was also showing me a "plug into computer" logo when I tried to turn on the phone, which indicated that it needed the computer to turn on. I went to the Apple Store for help because I did not have my MacBook with me. When I arrived desperate to fix it, because I am on vacation with no access to my personal information without a phone, I plugged it into one of their display Macs to try to update it. The staff understandably questioned what I was doing and initially wouldn't help because I didn't have an appointment. I explained that I was traveling, had no access to my banking, flight info, or navigation apps, and needed immediate help if possible. I couldn't go a day in a city I don't live in without a phone. They then kindly took my phone to the back. I do appreciate them doing this, and trying to fit me in. But after waiting over an hour with no update, I finally asked them what the status was of my phone. I was told it was a logic board issue and that I would need to buy a new phone or pay hundreds in repairs. My phone, which had been turning on for short periods before, is now completely unusable and stuck in recovery mode after whatever the staff did to it in the back. Now it is not turning on at all. It never did this before it was handled by the staff Now my phone is completely unusable, stuck in recovery mode and not turning on at all, which it was not like that before. This left me stranded without access to critical apps and information while on vacation. I understand hardware issues can happen, but the lack of clear solutions or support and leaving me without a working phone was extremely frustrating and stressful. This experience was very disappointing, especially given the high cost and reliance on Apple devices.
