This is a local and nice place. Worth the one mile drive past the fast food options. Great food prepared well and served hot. Thanks

I ordered the filet mignon with asparagus. The steak was cooked perfectly and well seasoned. The asparagus was fresh and had great flavor. My mom was craving the fried shrimp, mashed potatoes, and mac. She loved it all and I was even stealing her mashed potatoes it was so good! Service and food was 5 stars. Giving 4 stars because the inside could use a little more ambience or aesthetic.

The restaurant lacks a distinct ambiance. It needs to work on the interior design. Ambiance plays a significant role in making an amazing dining experience. The service was great. The bartender was quick and efficient. He was very friendly and recommended several different entrees and appetizers. I would come back to have a drink at the bar without a problem! He brought water and a bread basket. I wish he was more educated on what type of bread was being served. Overall he was attentive and ensured that my to-go order was packed correctly. My mom had the bbq baby back ribs. She said the baked potato tasted better than the ribs and that she prefers the ribs at TGIFridays over Trios. Which was kinda disappointing because we live relatively close to Trios and it's the only nicer restaurant in Watseka. Her onion rings were lightly breaded and tasted great! I had the salmon with asparagus and Mac n cheese. It was cooked perfectly. However, it lacked flavor. The asparagus had more seasoning and taste than the salmon. They should try some different seasonings. Too bland for me. The asparagus was surprisingly delicious and I would come back just for it. The Mac n cheese was disappointing. I advise to get the onion rings. It's a large portion of onion rings that are prepared fresh to order in a light batter. I doubt I would return for the main dishes. I hope they change things up.

Steaks come out on hot, cast iron skillets, so your steak is literally cooking still as you eat it. The salad bar reminded me of something from Wendy's back in the 80's that stopped because it's a cesspool of bacteria. Even reaching down into this broken cooler(I believe) to grab a hot plate, not cold, that definitely needs addressed. Find it hard to believe the health department allows the mishaps that salad bar is rocking, but I'm sure foodborne illnesses is a common theme for it. Hard to justify $170 meal for two on something as mediocre as this restaurant is slinging. I've had better steaks and cheaper at Longhorns and that's a corporate chain. Only redeeming quality of this place was the service, which I'm sure they have worked here since it has opened, cuz they got it down pat. Will not recommend even to someone I don't like and I will never be returning.

Though it looks unremarkable from the outside, inside, you'll find a wonderful restaurant where the staff is highly invested in making sure you have a great meal. My companion enjoyed a lovely Old Fashioned to start. I ordered the Turkey stroganoff, while he had the shrimp and grits. When the plates came out, I thought the veil was finally about to slip. They were well-plated, but huge. And yet...the veil didn't slip. It was haute-cuisine comfort food goodness in what looked like a converted warehouse space. Unreal! Though turkey is often too dry, my stroganoff was moist and succulent. The sauce was much more than just cream of mushroom -- lots of flavor and not too much salt. We had a time of it. I'd happily come back here again and again.
