    Sweet potato corn dogs
    Lolia S.

BoomDog just opened in the Glendale Galleria food court. It's a Korean corn dog street food brand from Rancho Cucamonga. The corn dogs are made to order. Choose your corndog (exterior: original, potato, sweet potato, Oreo, hot Cheetos, fried chicken, Takis), choose your filling (mozzarella, cheddar, hot dog), choose your sauce, choose to have or omit powdered sugar on top. Order at the counter and get a buzzer. The buzzer will go off when your order is ready. Sweet potato corn dog ($5.99 + $1 for mozzarella and hot dog) with cheese sauce and ketchup: This was a big corn dog studded with small pieces of sweet potato fries. The fries were cooked. The sweet potato fries were sweet, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The cheese was melted and stretchy. The nacho cheese sauce went surprisingly well with the corn dog. BoomDogs are more creative than Hot Dog on a Stick but also more expensive. HDOS offers two sticks for $7.99 in the same food court.

A great addition to the Glendale Galleria! I ordered a potato corn dog with beef sausage and coated with sugar. The ordering system is fairly straightforward. You select your coating and then select your filling. You can decide on sugar level (light, regular or no sugar). It sounds wild, but I recommend the regular sugar. The sweet/savory combo is what makes these special! My order was ready in less than five minutes and came in a super rad box. Sauces were served on the side. The potato corn dog was fried perfectly. Crispy, crunchy and soft on the inside. So delicious!

I LOVE Korean street food and that includes Korean corn dogs with sugar. So so good. Service was friendly.

I was super excited when I saw the barricade of boom dog while they're in construction, my friend took me to their Culver City location once and I instantly fell in love with it, Glendale is much closer to where I live so I'm pretty sure I'll be a regular here! Tried the original flavor and sweet potato one, both have crispy crust to my liking!! Now I'm craving for the fried chicken one can't wait to try it next time when I'm in Glendale

But there aren't too many hot dog places around, and I'm glad to have the option. Their kraut dog was disappointing. Their Chicago dog was decent. So were their fries (I got them when they were just freshly made). And they offer a variety of lemonades and teas if you want to skip the soda. The prices are decent, but again, tough to compete with that Costco deal. Would probably come back to try other things on their menu. Edit: Tried their burger, which was pretty good, but I'm really just here for the dogs since burger places are a dime a dozen. Their burger can compete with other burger joints, so if you're with others who don't want a hot dog, they have alternatives. I also tried their corndog (too sweet) and a chili cheese dog (was okay). They're all beef and polish dogs cost more, but taste much better. Their fries have actually been pretty consistently good. Their lemonades as well. I do note the lack of relish as an option which seems strange for a hotdog place. Again, Costco's hotdog tastes as good as Wienerschnitzel's premium dogs, but for much less. I mention that cause I'm at Costco every so often, but I guess if you're in this area (no Costco nearby) and want a hotdog, this place will do. Oh and I forgot to mention, th workers here are pretty chill but efficient, so that's a plus.

It is extremely clean and does not smell like a typical meat counter. The selection of smoked and cured meats as well as sausages is impressive. I used to go to Alpine Village before it closed, and this shop provides similar German style products. The service is great. They answer your questions and provide great recommendations. My favorite hands down is the butter cheese which is packed in the refrigerated case, sliced and ready to go. That cheese with pumpernickel bread (which they also offer) is so comforting. There are multiple types of salami, with the German style being my favorite. I really enjoyed the imported caraway crackers which was a lighter alternative to the more solid breads. It's the type of place where you will always find delicious specialty snacks with each visit.

They came in and were warmly welcomed with "Go ahead, sit anywhere; we will be right with you." Unbeknownst to them, unfortunately, it was right as the team was switching in and out. The server attended to them immediately, and with an amount of attitude you only get from a classic Karen, she decided to try and berate staff and act like they don't provide phenomenal service. I've tried alot of taco spots throughout LA, hard to say but this must have been some of the most well seasoned good quality burritos ive had In a while. Not all gritty and crap cuts like some places like to serve. The salsas were good they had a haberno which I loved, red sauce was good, guacamole salsa and a green all at a bar with radishes and pickled onions. Onion and cilantro you can add to your burrito cook keeps it open and lets you do it your own unfortunately they were out for me but will definitely be coming back. Price isn't bad 10 dollar burrito with all the fixing In this day and age is pretty reasonable. Wish they had spicy carrots and chips but hey who knows im gonna try.
