In my infinite wisdom, I bought a Groupon for Bonito Michoacan maybe 6 months or a year ago, thinking I had forever to use it. Time flew by and I checked the expiration date on Monday to see that it was expiring on Tuesday. Breakfast only! LOL. It was 11am so I got in my car and zipped on over. The restaurant is beautiful. Colorful paint inside and out. Big, heavy, wooden furniture. Very Mexico. They have a large menu. I picked Califa omelet from the breakfast menu and it was pretty good. I took the flour tortilla home and it was good too. Decent service. I went alone so I was in and out and no frills. They have a large drink menu too with a lot of choices. I'd consider checking it out if they have a happy hour.

Tried this place out, and was not disappointed. They serve chips, salsa and warm bean dip. First bowl is free, then its $3.50 for the next bowl. Kinda odd, but they were delicious! The chips were homemade, warm and crunchy. Not oily or overly salty. I added salt because I like them slightly salty. The salsa was cool, very tasty and a bit spicy. I love spicy, so this was just a little less spicy than I would have liked but still very fresh and tasty. The bean dip was excellent. Smooth and rich. Also you get a soup with noodles before even ordering. The soup was very rich, warm with a slight beef broth flavor and pepper. You would drink this down on a cold winter night. The noodles were tiny and tasted very good. I ordered a golden margarita, 16oz. $10 for happy hour! It was really good, and I highly recommend coming back during happy hour! My entre was the Zapateca, beef enchilada and tamale. Comes with rice and beans. The enchilada was pretty good, with melted cheese and a very good red sauce. Not spicy, just rich and tasty. The tamale comes with a brighter red/ orange sauce which was OK, i prefer tamales without the sauce. The tamale itself was OK as well. Im kind of a tamale snob, having eaten them all my life and actually made dozens upon dozens of them, year after year using my Nanas recipe. Having said that, they were OK. The prices are a bit steep if you miss the lunch specials, but happy hour makes up for it if you order some adult beverages. Service was quick and friendly!

Just meh for me. Chips are a little hard, I like my chips crispy. The chips came with refried beans, salsa and some tomato type soup which is definitely different and not something I have ever had as a free starter. I had the combination of chicken tostada, taco and enchilada. It was just okay nothing to write home about. There was some live entertainment going on which is great. The atmosphere was fun and inviting. Three stars only because the food is just mediocre unfortunately. PS what is going on in the bathroom? It's like a zombie apocalypse happened with ten old locks removed and grates added at the bottom of the wall and door to keep things out!!!

Let me start off by saying he server (Richard I think it was) was fantastic. Attentive, personable, and genuinely made the whole experience better. Unfortunately, the food fell a bit flat for me. Maybe it was just what I ordered, but nothing really stood out flavor wise. The Michelada in particular was a letdown; it lacked any real depth or bold flavor. That said, the ambiance is solid. They had live music, the place was packed, and it's clear they're doing a lot of things right to draw a crowd. It just didn't fully hit the mark for me overall.

Great service, solid menu and food preparation. A welcoming and friendly place. Their long and successful run in the restaurant business in the City of Las Vegas proves their consistency. We had one fish ceviche and one shrimp ceviche. We switched plates halfway to taste each others. Fresh, finely chopped deliciousness with a squirt of lime. The guac was out of this world. I enjoy the beans here with queso - silky smoothe. A solid choice when in Sin City.

I returned yesterday to the Mexican gem! Again, I was greeted right away and sat immediately. Great, chill vibe throughout the restaurant. I tried the Tacos de Pollo a la Parrilla. I ordered the spicy, and I mean SPICY, tomatillo sauce to top them with. They were fantastic! I skipped dessert because the entree was so filling. I will definitely be back again!

Bonita Michoacan was such a great find! We stopped by on a Saturday evening about an hour before closing and weren't sure if we'd be seated, but they welcomed us right in--and the service was superb from start to finish. The aesthetic is absolutely beautiful: colorful, vibrant, and deeply rooted in Mexican culture. The decor honestly reminded me of my grandparents, which made it feel warm and nostalgic. It's a big restaurant, and every server who walked by checked in on us, not just our own--such a thoughtful touch. They started us off with chips, beans, and salsa, which I loved. The menu is extensive with so many great options that it was hard to choose. I finally landed on Tía Esther's (the name alone sold me), and it exceeded all expectations. The dish was delicious, comforting, rich in flavor, and incredibly satisfying. From the food to the service to the atmosphere, everything was on point. If you're in Las Vegas and craving authentic, soulful Mexican food, this place is a must.

I came to Bonito Michoacán on Friday, April 3, 2026, around 2:30 PM because I specifically wanted to try the cheesecake burrito. I brought a friend with me for a late lunch, and based on how the visit started, I really thought this place was going to be a winner. It did not end that way. First, credit where it is due: Megan at the front was excellent. She was friendly, informative, patient, and welcoming from the start. She set a great tone and made the place feel promising right away. Once we were seated, things changed. Our server, Ivonne, greeted us, but it was immediately obvious that her section was overloaded. The area around us was packed, and she looked stretched thin from the start. I do want to be fair and say I do not think this was personal. I noticed the same lack of attention happening at other tables too, so this felt more like poor floor management than targeted bad service. The chips, salsa, and bean dip came out first. The bean dip was one of the best things I had there, flavorful, lightly salted, smooth, and actually enjoyable enough to stand out. The salsa had a nice kick to it too. I also ordered the Petalo de Rosa Margarita, and that drink was genuinely great. It looked beautiful and tasted even better. That was easily one of the highlights of the visit. My friend ordered the Botana "Papa Chencho," and for the price, that looked like a much better value than what I got. It was large, shareable, and felt worth the money. I ordered three tacos, carne asada, pastor, and fish, because I wanted to sample a few different options. Unfortunately, they were bland, small for the price, and had no real wow factor at all. For a place like this, I expected much more flavor and a stronger overall impression. Instead, they felt like the kind of tacos I could make at home without much effort. They were not terrible, but they were definitely forgettable. After the food came out, Ivonne barely checked back. Most of what came to the table seemed to be handled by food runners or back-of-house staff. Again, I could see she was overwhelmed, but as a guest, the end result was still weak service and very little follow-through. The biggest disappointment was dessert. I came in wanting the cheesecake burrito, only to find out after ordering it that they were out. That should have been communicated before I ordered. If a restaurant is out of a featured dessert, especially in the middle of the day, the table should know up front. So I switched to the churros. The menu photo made them look much more elaborate than what actually arrived, and the menu did not make it clear that coffee came with them. The photo made it look like some sort of dipping sauce or syrup, not coffee. What came out looked much more basic than expected, and the churros themselves were mediocre at best. The final straw was trying to leave. When we were ready for the check, I asked for it. Ivonne said no problem, then disappeared. I asked again, same thing. I asked a third time, and by that point it was ridiculous. I finally got up and went to the hostess stand just to say we were trying to pay and leave. That should never happen. Then, to make it worse, the other hostess, not Megan, had an attitude when we were simply trying to settle the bill. This visit had a few bright spots, Megan, the bean dip, the margarita, and the Botana "Papa Chencho," but the bland tacos, poor dessert communication, weak service, and frustrating end made this a place I will not return to. Las Vegas has too many strong Mexican restaurants to settle for an experience this disorganized.

Love this place in Vegas. Huge menu, beautiful bar and ambiance. Had the grilled pork chop plate(chuletas) with rice, beans, guacamole. It's a good ways away from downtown but worth the drive. Servers started our interaction with a free bowl of sopa de fideo to wet your appetite...very much appreciated too. I'd love tp come bzck for desayuno and/or to order one of my favorite Mexican seafood dishes; huachinango entero con mojo de ajo! My drink...the La Sangrona...( no me gusta)..I did not like...sounded and looked better than it tasted....was weak and coukd'nt detect anf booze...cost $17 too...woukd have been better off with a standard house margarita with an extra shot. Again...the pork chops were delish!

First time trying this restaurant and we had the chance to try their breakfast and dinner. The waiters were friendly and very accommodating until I asked if I could order from the children's menu due to medical reasons. Everyone else was ordering from regular menu and I was made to feel like I was lying and it was a bit uncomfortable. Finally I was allowed to order and it was delicious. The breakfast baby sopes omg delicious the garlic shrimp yummy. The decor was great and you can definitely take a picture outside with the Vegas sign. The music was great as well

Pastor taco plate. Husband enjoyed every bite!

The husband and I have wanted to try this place for a few years and just never made it over until last week. The atmosphere was loud, dimly lit, and busy! All in a good way, I promise... lots of birthday celebrations happening-so if you like to be the center of attention-this is the place to go! The table side guacamole was superb...perfect blend of onions, tomatoes, cilantro, jalapeño, and lime! I forgot to take a picture, because we were so excited to dig right in... I ordered the #5 combo, which had a crispy chicken taco, a cheese enchilada with red sauce, a pork and green chile sauce, and rice and beans. Perfect amount to have lunch the next day, as well. Everything was delightful, although the beans were not my favorite. They seemed a tad bit watery to me, but overall was a great dish with a nice chance to try multiple things. My husband ordered the pastor tacos. They were pleasantly full of meat, and had a nice amount of pineapple mixed in as well. He quite enjoyed them, along with his cadillac margarita. The price point was reasonable, especially for the amount of food we were given and the service was great! Everything was brought out fast, and piping hot! I only wish we had tried it sooner.

Bonito is a great Mexican restaurant. We have been coming here for many years and still enjoy our visits. The food is great, the service is nice, and the space is very colorful and beautiful. They also have some great lunch specials and we leave satisfied. Thank you for the complimentary chips, beans, salsa, and soups. Always great as well. We will be back and thank you for offering such great lunch specials.

There was about a 10 minute wait to order, which we didn't mind given how crowded it was. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill when it was our turn. The staff member taking our order said, "do you know what you want?" in an unwelcoming tone. Even though, his tone turned me off, we still placed an order (...probably shouldn't have). We ordered the Freckled Redhead burger ($16) and the Chicken with Mac Waffle ($17). After ordering, we were given a number and waited outside. The food came out after about 20 minutes and we took it home to eat. A different staff member served our to-go order and she seemed nice. As much as we wanted to enjoy it, the food was just OK. The chicken was seasoned well but it seemed over fried, which made it dry. The waffle itself was decent but only had a small amount of mac and cheese inside. I had seen previous photos where mac and cheese was also served on the side, so that was disappointing. My boyfriend had the burger and said it was just OK as well...nothing special and not really worth the price. Overall, the staff member taking orders didn't seem very friendly or welcoming, and should probably take a break or work in the back. The food wasn't exciting like we hoped. We give it 2 stars. Even though we live nearby, we probably wouldn't return for the food. Maybe the coffee and drinks are better, but based on this experience, I cannot recommend this place.

The food here is incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious - but they really need to step up their dishwashing and make sure the food is served hot. There's nothing worse than ordering coffee and seeing purple lipstick on the rim of your cup. It makes you want to leave right away. Then comes the inner debate - do you say something and risk being that customer, or just wipe it off and move on? On top of that, getting food that's supposed to be hot but arrives cold is frustrating. You sit there wishing you were at home where you could just microwave it - because the food is that good and would taste even better at the right temperature. Our experience wasn't helped by our waiter, who seemed disinterested after the lipstick incident (same guy mentioned in previous reviews that comes off rude AF/ agreed!). We didn't feel like asking for much after that. On the bright side, one of the waitresses was amazing - she looked like she was carrying the whole place. The chef clearly knows what she's doing because the food coming out of the kitchen was fantastic. That said, attention needs to be paid to cleanliness and serving hot food. There's no excuse for that. Despite these issues, I gave it five stars because the problems are fixable and don't take away from how incredible the food is. For reference, we visited on Friday, January 3rd, in the morning. There was a nearby parking structure and no wait time. The decor is a mix of farm-to-table and modern bistro - nothing overly exciting or disappointing. We were just looking for a good brunch spot, and this place is truly a hidden gem. Hopefully, they address the concerns we mentioned because it's worth coming back for! __________ To the Chef, Your food is incredible - truly Michelin-worthy. However, the staff is serving it cold and sometimes on dirty dishes. This isn't the first review mentioning these issues. Also, the tall white guy with grey hair was incredibly condescending and rude. Hospitality doesn't seem to be the right fit for him. It's disappointing to see someone like that representing the amazing work and love you pour into your dishes. On the flip side, the waitress with long brown hair was picking up the slack and holding the place together. She deserves recognition - maybe even a promotion. I hope you see this because if the team can consistently serve food hot and on clean dishware, this place could easily become the top brunch spot around. We appreciate your talent and hope this feedback is helpful! - Vee & Mike

It has a rustic, darker ambiance and not your usual bright and sunny brunch spots. Food came out quickly, but they were lukewarm and felt like it was already made and just put under a food light to be kept warm. The biscuit was good and soft, but the gravy was a little too salty. The corned beef came in a smaller portion than I expected, and the beef was diced too thin that they didn't have great texture and flavor. Coffee was good, but overall food was not as good as we'd expect. Service was average, the waitress was nice but didn't offer much service besides bringing out initial water and coffee over. No one really checked in on us after the food was served. I'd most likely not be back as there are many other brunch places in the downtown area to explore.

The Grilled Oysters were not a favorite. However, I think that's just personal preference because of the style they are prepared in. We prefer our grilled oysters to be very charred and more of a buttery flavor. These are prepared in an Asian style and and more of a soft grill than a char. Our server very graciously had a second plate served up with more of a grill to the oyster which we appreciated. The rest of the dishes were delicious. We were so full that we passed on dessert, but would definitely be back because the options were inventive and looked so tasty. A doughnut bread pudding, a bourbon brownie; yes to both please!

Bacon Nation slaps slices on just about everything but French toast, and even that can be topped with bacon butter and bacon-infused syrup. The build-your-own omelet is a worthy breakfast, stuffed with two veggies and two meats of your choice. Cheddar, diced onion, and two types of bacon inside three eggs was a winner. Be sure to get some thick bacon slices to go (mango habanero, maple glazed, honey-cured) - always nice to chew on during that nine hour Sunday evening drive back to SoCal. And unlike those anorexic slices that fast food places put on their burgers, you can actually taste this bacon. Open 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., they serve lunch too and if you're in 'growling stomach mode', try the Boarrito but be forewarned - this is a pork-fest of a monstrosity that's not designed for consumption by weight watchers or thoroughbred jockeys. A large tortilla filled with ham, sausage, bacon crumbles, pulled pork, guacamole, sour cream, and pico de gallo is then wrapped on the outside with countless slices of more bacon, smothered with cheese sauce and sour cream...now I need to take a nap just thinking about digesting it. It's a massive meal and I feel like the waitress could have positioned me on all fours in front of a feeding trough in order to graze on it. Bacon Nation is located on the D's second floor inside a very clean and bright dining room with lots of booths, a counter, and an ultra-pleasant hostess named Angel. In summary, a well-earned 5 oink review is deserving because their food is that darn good. "Everywhere there's lots of piggies, living piggy lives. You can see them out for dinner with their piggy wives, Clutching forks and knives...to...eat...their...bacon." Beatles, 1968

Bacon Nation was a must-stop on our Vegas trip--everything was absolutely delicious. The portions…read morewere huge, so big that half our group couldn't even finish their meals. It was super filling and exactly what we needed to recharge. Service was a bit slow, and our bride-to-be didn't receive her food until several minutes after everyone else. We also waited quite a while for the check and were met with a little sass, which felt off. Overall, the food was great, but the service could definitely use some improvement.

My cousin found out about Therapy from TikTok and so I made reservations for today at 2:30pm in advance. We made sure to be on time matter of fact we arrived 30 mins in advance since we had to catch a cab and traffic seemed heavier today. Once we entered we were greeted immediately however we were taken upstairs 20 mins later from arrival (no big deal still before our reservations) but there were no available tables. I spied a table getting ready to leave on the first floor and asked if we could wait for it and the hostess happily agreed (thank you)!! Unlimited mimosa 10/10, music 10/10, our personal service 10/10 (she tried and I don't even think she was a server but was very friendly and accommodating) however customer service/wait times/morale 2/10 because I'm typing this right now and it's 3:39pm 11/16/24 and I just got my wings still waiting on my fries. Reservation made for 2:30pm made it at 2:00pm just now have wings no fries and my cousin still doesn't have her food at 3:40....and to Christopher I've read your replies and you're disgusting!!! So let me help you with your response...I'm NOT broke, I DON'T need anyone to sponsor or fund my activities when I'm on vacation...DO BETTER!!! However the lemon pepper wings and fries (second request first were cold) tasted delicious. Therapy has potential if the customer service from Chris was better and food arrived in a timely manner. Also witnessed multiple tables abandon their orders due to excessive wait time however ALL the staff is amazing!! Update: actually met Chris after our food came and he is a complete jerk in person too. Drugs are bad people! Save your money and eat elsewhere I will never support this establishment again.
