Chilaquiles w/ Steak and Red Sauce
    Chad C.

OMG, what an absolute gem! We stopped in for breakfast/brunch and grabbed a spot on their enclosed patio--hands down one of the nicest I've seen anywhere. Floor-to-ceiling glass windows (treated to block the heat) let in tons of bright sunshine while keeping things perfectly comfortable, even on the hottest Vegas days. They've fully leaned into a fun Bad Bunny / Latin pop vibe--music videos playing on every TV, setting such a great energy. To start, I ordered their Horchata Latte (I'm a sucker for good coffee with sweet cinnamon horchata flavors). The menu lists it cold, but they happily made it hot for me. It was solid--nice cinnamon-coffee taste--but not the creamiest, most authentic horchata experience I've had. Right away, they brought out warm house-made tostada shells with their homemade bean dip and salsa. Both were super flavorful and hit the spot. For my main, I went with the chilaquiles topped with steak (their carne asada, exactly what I wanted) and red sauce. The sauce had great flavor with just a subtle kick--nothing overpowering. My wife got the same but with green sauce, which was equally delicious, just with a bright, slightly lemony note. Bonus for Tesla owners: There are 250kW Superchargers right in the parking lot across the way. It saved us an extra stop--perfect! Pro tip: Show them this post (or come during happy hour) for a 10% discount. Highly recommend if you're craving great Mexican brunch with a cool, vibey atmosphere! We loved it, the service was spot on, and we can't wait to go back!

We happened to be at Arroyo Crossing near Home Depot tonight and decided to grab dinner. There used to be a Mexican restaurant in this spot that honestly wasn't very good, so we hadn't been back in quite a while. Since we were already there and it was dinner time, we figured we'd give it another try and were pleasantly surprised to discover a new place called Mucho Loco. What a fantastic surprise. The service was warm, attentive ( thank you Joanna) and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. Even the chips and dips were served in a fun and creative way, with the crispy tortilla chips standing upright in a holder and flavorful house sauces on the side, a small touch that made a great first impression. My husband started with the ceviche, which he said was some of the freshest he's had in Las Vegas, topped with avocado and beautifully prepared. For dinner he ordered the whole fish, which came out looking incredible and he absolutely loved it, he said it was one of the best he's had in town. I had the birria tacos, which came out in a really cool little taco cart presentation that made the whole dish feel extra special. The tacos were packed with flavor and perfectly cooked. The dessert and coffee menu also looked amazing. We were honestly too full to try them this time, but there were so many things on the menu that caught our eye that we will definitely be back to explore more. It's always great discovering a true hidden gem and this place definitely fits that description. Tip: Try the ceviche, the birria tacos, or the whole fish, all were excellent!! I think this will be our new go to spot for Mexican Food!!!

Such a great find! My cousin told me about this spot and she made it sound incredible. I have to agree after trying it myself it really is a gem! It was slow when we arrived which was great for us bc we were seated right away. They serve this consume before the food which was 5 stars! We tried the a ceviche that had 3 different sauces (forgot name) and it was delicious. One of the sauces had a kick of extra spice but it was yumm! Queso fundido was pretty much just melted cheese, nothing too fancy. Ok onto the main entrees. Pulpo al pastor the presentation itself was really jaw dropping. They charbroil it tableside which is really cool. The Birria tacos are served on a shelved rack which was a cool presentation as well. We went for my son's birthday and they did a super cool birthday song for him. Music blasting, masks, churro cake and even a light show. He felt special and it was definitely memorable. Something I haven't seen, they have a purse/coat rack at each table! Definitely going back!

Best Mexican food that I've had in a long time. We went on a Monday but they have specials for taco Tuesday & happy hour so I will definitely return for that. They bring you these crunchy kind of like tostados with salsa & warm bean dip to start....amazing!! The food is great and the waitress we had was super helpful and nice. You can sit on patio or inside. Again, if off the strip in Vegas a must visit for Mexican food.

Nachos topped with fried pork belly, pickled onions, and super fresh cilantro. Yummmm!

Came here for dinner while waiting for our grandsons' art class to end. Absolutely happy we chose Mucho Loco. I was completely full, but hubby was starving so I tagged along. Chose nachos cause ai loooove nachos. So happy I did. My nachos was $18. Little high for a small plate of nachos, but was so worth it. First time ever had fried pork belly as a protein. Justified the price. Hubby had a fat chicken burrito plate for $19. I dont know if it's me thinking Hawaii pricing, but that's a very reasonable price. The Ambience of this place is beautiful. Service was good. Highly, highly recommend. Recommending Mucho Loco to my daughter and son-in-law for their date night.

Camarones a la diabla (shrimp in spicy sauce)

Food: Not your typical Mexican restaurant with lots of regular choices. More seafood based. Good sauces. Little disappointed the spicy sauce was mild. May stress to server you want extra spicy if you order a la diabla style. Good appetizers to go with your drinks Service: attentive staff Ambience: good vibe, especially dinner time.

Mucho Loco Cantina is such a fun little spot and an absolute gem. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere pulls you in. The decor feels like you're on a pirate ship, and even the menus look like old treasure maps. It honestly gave me The Goonies vibes, which I loved. So creative and cute. The food did not disappoint. I ordered the birria tacos, and not only were they delicious, they were presented in the cutest way. They came out on a mini taco stand that literally says "Tacos Mucho Loco," complete with little metal cups for the consommé and lime. It was such a fun presentation and made the whole experience even better. The birria itself was flavorful, tender, and perfectly crispy. My friend ordered the fajitas, which were also really good...great flavor and sizzling hot when they came out. We were also treated to a complimentary seafood drink, served warm with onions, cilantro, and lime. It was surprisingly tasty and such a nice extra touch that made us feel welcomed. Shoutout to our waitress Valerie, who was absolutely wonderful. She was very sweet, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. She even told us about their other location and genuinely welcomed us back, which we really appreciated. Between the unique atmosphere, great food, thoughtful presentation, and excellent service, this place is definitely worth checking out. I'll absolutely be back!

    Iced horchata latte
    Julianne R.

The decor is spot on! I felt classy walking in. Everyone was welcoming and friendly. Instead of the typical complimentary chips and salsa, it was a small cup of shrimp consommé which was delicious. MY ORDER - iced horchata latte: just the right amount of sweet - salmon soup: served hot, rich flavor, thick pieces of salmon - aguachiles tropicales: fresh shrimp; the mango and passion fruit flavors were amazing in this! The presentation of the aguachiles was gorgeous... I took a pic, but I guess it didn't save somehow. So sad because it was perfection! Considering I don't even really like seafood, I enjoyed all the dishes. I definitely would go back. :-)

We celebrated my 29th birthday at Mucho Loco and it was the best decision! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed warmly and immediately brought waters and their house dips, which was a great start. Our table ordered several cocktails and everyone genuinely loved their drinks, which almost never happens. My favorite was the Tamarindo Paloma, perfectly balanced and refreshing. I also had another cocktail with mango and pineapple flavors that was tropical and delicious. The food was just as good. Portions were generous and everything tasted flavorful and authentic. I ordered the Paco Green Enchiladas with refried beans and Mexican rice, and the green sauce had a great tang while the sides were well seasoned. A special shoutout to Katarina, who took care of us with such great energy and attentiveness. My favorite moment was when the staff came out and sang the birthday song, which made the celebration feel extra special. Plus she also gifted me a to go cocktail! THE GOAT! Overall, great drinks, delicious food, and amazing service. I'll definitely be back! Ps. Regret not taking more pictures of the food. But I will be back!

Great service here. The tv music was a little loud but it rivaled a few drunk guests so that evened things out. Big portion sizes for the appetizers. I thought I would need to order more but they were just as big as described. I also had menudo which is served daily. It was tasty especially as it's hard to find during the week and even on a menu at a Mexican restaurant. So many options to choose from here!

Wonderful experience, I recommend this restaurant to anyone that will listen. I have nothing negative to say. We have come multiple times, different times of the day, different days of the week. Always great service, great food. Very attentive customer service. Very clean space, great experience overall. 10/10 If you're debating definitely give it a try!

Be aware! They don't serve brunch anymore at this "brunch" location. They change their menu to seafood focused restaurant. I first learned about this restaurant because they offer free mimosa to customers who wear pajamas to their brunch. Their waiters wear pajamas too. However, the weekend I planned to go, they stopped offering brunch and the fun PJ thing. They are nice enough to still allow us to wear PJs to the restaurant and offer us free margarita shots. We loved the experience. The food with presentation makes it really fun and it tasted great too. I ordered a cocktail that comes with a gigantic flower decorated bird nest. The drink was inside a bee shape container and then stuck in that bird's nest! So unique! The birthday celebration they do for customers is loud, fun and funny! They say they are moving all the brunch stuff to the other Mucho Loco restaurant. Give them a call to find out if you plan to go.

Came in for dinner with family visiting from out of town. The place wasn't busy at all considering it was dinner time. Upon entering we noticed that the restaurant was clean and the ambiance was fitting. Joanna was our server and she was very warm and friendly. They specialize in Mexican seafood dishes and we weren't disappointed. We ordered their versions of a Cadillac margarita and espresso martinis. Both drinks were delicious. They brought out complimentary, savory shrimp broth served in the cutest little serving cups. We also ordered their versions garlic shrimp dish, aguachiles and carnitas dish which were full of flavor. We definitely enjoyed the food here and spoke about it being a great place to come back to. I honestly don't understand why it wasn't busier. Would definitely come again!

Glad I did. When we came in, it wasn't busy and we got seated right away. Our server had our drinks and broth out within about 10 minutes, which I appreciated. The space itself is cute, cozy, and clean--exactly the kind of hot pot spot you want when you're craving soup and comfort food. We got the sukiyaki and tonkatsu broth. Both were really good, but the sukiyaki was definitely the favorite. We ordered from Menu B since we didn't really care for all the extra add-ons, and honestly it was more than enough for us. The sides were surprisingly good too. We tried the karaage chicken, fries, salad, cucumbers, shrimp tempura, and fish tempura. Everything came out crispy and flavorful. I also ordered the udon noodles with ponzu sauce and lowkey... that could've been my whole meal. So much flavor! The veggies tasted fresh as well. The only thing I'll note is service speed seems to depend on staffing. During our first visit, they were short one server, so refills and check-ins took a little longer. Our second and third visits were much smoother and faster when they had two servers working. Also, their hours are kind of confusing. The door and Yelp say they close at 11PM, but on multiple visits they were already wrapping things up around 9:30PM and closed at 10PM. So if you plan to go, I'd recommend getting there earlier just to be safe. Overall though, I'd still give them 5 stars. The staff has always been kind, the food is flavorful, and it definitely hits the spot when you want hot pot.

I found the place to be a mixed bag and I'm not sure I would be in much of a hurry to return. This slick steakhouse with a modern menu came not only with big expectations, but an equally huge price tag. I was instantly turned off by the atmosphere. It's loud and open and packed with tables that felt too crowded in. We were seated in the far back area, which lost a ton of the restaurant's vibe. Ask to be seated towards the kitchen for the best view. We were promptly greeted by a friendly yet professional server and given food menus as well as a large drink menu. The options sounded tasty, and we ordered a lot of stuff to try. Hubby ordered a classic Manhattan cocktail made with Angel's Envy, I got a glass of Cabernet, and our companion had a mocktail (she's 28, but forgot her I.D.). The cocktail was good but tiny, and my wine wasn't very good at all. It wasn't corked, but it was a disappointment. The mocktail was the best drink on the table. The appetizers are by far the highlights here. The fancy small plates and starters were all flavorful and worth getting, and we all agreed that the small bites have more character than some of the bigger dishes. The appetizers were the thing that outshined the main courses by a mile. If I ever come back to Nicco's, I'll stick with the appetizers and skip the mains. We started with a seafood tower that really wasn't large enough for three people to share. I was very disappointed in this, as it felt like we had to fight over who got what, LOL. The seafood was fresh and prepared well, there just wasn't enough of it especially for the price. Next up was the tempura crab claws, and they were delicious. I wish I'd had these for my main meal. I didn't try the thick bacon, but it disappointed my bacon-loving hubby. The crab cakes had nice big chunks of lump crabmeat, but also had too much breading (I'm a former Marylander so I am VERY picky about my crab cakes)! I would get these again because they were super tasty, but I wish the cakes had a bit less filler. The steakhouse salad was standard and delicious. It was my favorite thing on the table. There's nothing elevated about the salad, but it's good, solid and reliable, especially if you like blue cheese! I ordered the salmon and it just wasn't good. It wasn't that it wasn't fresh or it was poorly prepared, it was just SO boring. I usually love salmon, but this was such a disappointment. The portion was more than adequate, but the dish let me down overall. The other two at the table had steaks, and they each agreed the steak was very good but far from spectacular. The portions again were massive, so you will have plenty to eat if you're a large eater and you'll definitely have leftovers if you are a light eater! The side dishes were very small, though, especially the mediocre macaroni and cheese. Skip the sides. For dessert, we went a little crazy! First, there was a round of espresso martinis that were strong and yummy. We opted for the brownie ice cream sundae, the beignets, and the butter cake. The brownie was a overall celebrity of the desserts world! This thing was huge and SO GOOD. The other sweets were also nice. This place does desserts so well, so save room. Make sure you have a lot of time because service can be slow. We seemed to wait forever between courses, which wasn't a huge deal since we were enjoying each other's company, but this may irritate those in more of a hurry. The service was inconsistent to be sure, but then there were classy little touches like the server bringing me an adorable little chair to hold my handbag so I didn't have to leave it on the floor or hanging off the back of my seat. Overall, Nicco's is a cool place with a chic vibe and good appetizers and desserts, although the main courses fall flat. If you're coming out here expecting a standout steakhouse dinner on par with some of the bigger names in Vegas, you might leave a little underwhelmed. There's nothing particularly horribly wrong with Nicco's food-wise, but there's also nothing that made me go "wow."
