OMG, what an absolute gem! We stopped in for breakfast/brunch and grabbed a spot on their enclosed patio--hands down one of the nicest I've seen anywhere. Floor-to-ceiling glass windows (treated to block the heat) let in tons of bright sunshine while keeping things perfectly comfortable, even on the hottest Vegas days. They've fully leaned into a fun Bad Bunny / Latin pop vibe--music videos playing on every TV, setting such a great energy. To start, I ordered their Horchata Latte (I'm a sucker for good coffee with sweet cinnamon horchata flavors). The menu lists it cold, but they happily made it hot for me. It was solid--nice cinnamon-coffee taste--but not the creamiest, most authentic horchata experience I've had. Right away, they brought out warm house-made tostada shells with their homemade bean dip and salsa. Both were super flavorful and hit the spot. For my main, I went with the chilaquiles topped with steak (their carne asada, exactly what I wanted) and red sauce. The sauce had great flavor with just a subtle kick--nothing overpowering. My wife got the same but with green sauce, which was equally delicious, just with a bright, slightly lemony note. We happened to be at Arroyo Crossing near Home Depot tonight and decided to grab dinner. There used to be a Mexican restaurant in this spot that honestly wasn't very good, so we hadn't been back in quite a while. Since we were already there and it was dinner time, we figured we'd give it another try and were pleasantly surprised to discover a new place called Mucho Loco. What a fantastic surprise. The service was warm, attentive ( thank you Joanna) and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. Even the chips and dips were served in a fun and creative way, with the crispy tortilla chips standing upright in a holder and flavorful house sauces on the side, a small touch that made a great first impression. My husband started with the ceviche, which he said was some of the freshest he's had in Las Vegas, topped with avocado and beautifully prepared. For dinner he ordered the whole fish, which came out looking incredible and he absolutely loved it, he said it was one of the best he's had in town. I had the birria tacos, which came out in a really cool little taco cart presentation that made the whole dish feel extra special. The tacos were packed with flavor and perfectly cooked. The dessert and coffee menu also looked amazing. We were honestly too full to try them this time, but there were so many things on the menu that caught our eye that we will definitely be back to explore more. It's always great discovering a true hidden gem and this place definitely fits that description. Tip: Try the ceviche, the birria tacos, or the whole fish, all were excellent!! Such a great find! My cousin told me about this spot and she made it sound incredible. I have to agree after trying it myself it really is a gem! It was slow when we arrived which was great for us bc we were seated right away. They serve this consume before the food which was 5 stars! We tried the a ceviche that had 3 different sauces (forgot name) and it was delicious. One of the sauces had a kick of extra spice but it was yumm! Queso fundido was pretty much just melted cheese, nothing too fancy. Ok onto the main entrees. Pulpo al pastor the presentation itself was really jaw dropping. They charbroil it tableside which is really cool. The Birria tacos are served on a shelved rack which was a cool presentation as well. We went for my son's birthday and they did a super cool birthday song for him. Music blasting, masks, churro cake and even a light show. He felt special and it was definitely memorable. The decor feels like you're on a pirate ship, and even the menus look like old treasure maps. It honestly gave me The Goonies vibes, which I loved. So creative and cute. The food did not disappoint. I ordered the birria tacos, and not only were they delicious, they were presented in the cutest way. They came out on a mini taco stand that literally says "Tacos Mucho Loco," complete with little metal cups for the consommé and lime. It was such a fun presentation and made the whole experience even better. The birria itself was flavorful, tender, and perfectly crispy. The decor is spot on! I felt classy walking in. Everyone was welcoming and friendly. Instead of the typical complimentary chips and salsa, it was a small cup of shrimp consommé which was delicious. We celebrated my 29th birthday at Mucho Loco and it was the best decision! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed warmly and immediately brought waters and their house dips, which was a great start. Our table ordered several cocktails and everyone genuinely loved their drinks, which almost never happens. My favorite was the Tamarindo Paloma, perfectly balanced and refreshing. I also had another cocktail with mango and pineapple flavors that was tropical and delicious. The food was just as good. Portions were generous and everything tasted flavorful and authentic. I ordered the Paco Green Enchiladas with refried beans and Mexican rice, and the green sauce had a great tang while the sides were well seasoned. A special shoutout to Katarina, who took care of us with such great energy and attentiveness. I first learned about this restaurant because they offer free mimosa to customers who wear pajamas to their brunch. Their waiters wear pajamas too. However, the weekend I planned to go, they stopped offering brunch and the fun PJ thing. They are nice enough to still allow us to wear PJs to the restaurant and offer us free margarita shots. We loved the experience. The food with presentation makes it really fun and it tasted great too. I ordered a cocktail that comes with a gigantic flower decorated bird nest. The drink was inside a bee shape container and then stuck in that bird's nest! So unique! The birthday celebration they do for customers is loud, fun and funny! I wanted to try this place after seeing the name in a few reviews. The place was a little on the higher price side for 'Mexican food' but I wanted to see what the place had to offer. I was surprised they only have a brunch menu. I had a walk through the restaurant to be seated in the bar side, the place was very large with lots of empty tables but it was mid week. I ordered an ice tea. Chips and salsa were brought to the table as I viewed the menu. Since I was on the bar side of the restaurant I was curious about the drinks menu. The drink menu was loaded with a large selection of drinks with fancy names attached. I had some more errands to run after I ate so I passed on a cocktail but their names and descriptions sounded inviting. I ordered an appetizer I know it was a ceviche with shrimp, octopus and tuna. It also had a lot of fresh jalapeños and covered with a tangy lime juice topped off with onion and cilantro. They brought fresh corn chips to scoop with. As they did this they removed the table chips and salsas which disappointed me as I often use the salsa as an add to the entree if it was needing extra spice and who doesn't eat chips with the meal. This ceviche was outstanding, very tangy, with the right amount of spice, some might not like this but I love a spicy dish. For my entree I had the carne asada Mr loco. The sirloin flap was grilled on open flame, it was flavorful but just a tad chewy and served medium cook. It had chorizo, baby onions, jalapeño, cactus, a type of cheese served like a brick semi sold which I placed a bit of all of this to the warmed corn tortillas that accompanied the dish. It was a great bite and lots of spice. All in all the food was good the service was good and I enjoyed it, especially the ceviche. The prices were a bit high, $19 for the appetizer and $29 for the carne asada. Portion size was average. Would I go back, perhaps, I really loved the ceviche. On top of that, the margarita was honestly one of the worst I've ever had. Service was also a major issue. Our waters were never refilled, and we had to go find someone multiple times just to get basic help. I understand restaurants can get busy, but the overall lack of attention and extremely slow food service made the experience frustrating from start to finish. The host was welcoming and kind. There was no wait despite it being a Saturday morning on St. Patrick's day seeking in Vegas. We were seated promptly and our server greeted us and took care of our drink order. We tried both the red and green chilaquiles (added steak and carnitas) as well as the breakfast burrito everything was delicious! Authentic flavors and great portions. This place was FANTASTIC! As a reminder it is a Brunch only place- no post 7pm dinner is served at this location. All the decor, tables, seats, hardware, glasses all the way down to the presentation is AMAZING. I was dining with friends who have been in the hospitality industry on the strip for 30+ years and they were blown away by the staff and presentation/taste of the food. Had been sleeping on this place for a too long. So glad we finally decided to give it a try. The food was a 10 out of 10, but the service was an 11 out of 10!! We arrived and, to our surprise, the small welcome area at the front was a tiny room with no doors. We were a bit confused at first until we noticed the doorbell and instructions nearby. I feel like the speakeasy thing is fun but has been a bit overdone in Vegas...especially if it's not done well. Mucho Loco Brunch had me looking like high af Vincent Vega in Pulp Fiction. You know, when he was with Mia in Marcellus Wallace's house and didn't know where to sit. Anyway. The speakeasy front was very well done and it was actually really fun (Ya got me). After getting seated we were helped by Johanna and this is where we started to really be wowed! She was so professional and attentive. She asked us if we had dined at Mucho Loco brunch before. When we said no, she gave us the compete rundown of what they were all about and was very thorough. And she did it in a way that didn't feel scripted. She was excited to tell us about the restaurant and the menu, but did it in a way that maintained that higher-end experience that the restaurant was clearly wanting to establish. It was this perfect balance of professional but friendly and personable. It's hard to explain, but after she stepped away to grab our drinks my wife and I at the same time gave each other that look that told each other we were impressed. Johanna then brought out our coffees. We got the Churro Latte and Dulce de Leche Latte. Both were next level delicious. At this point, Johanna must have noticed my wife's purse and had a purse hook brought over so that my wife didn't have to sit with the purse behind her back the whole meal! Such a great job paying attention. They also brought us chips and salsa and both were warm which just shows the attention to detail. The chips were really good and so was the salsa, but I wish it had a little more heat. Definitely a mild salsa. After recommending some menu options, my wife and I ordered the Omelette and Breakfast Burrito. The breakfast Burrito was really good but the Omelette (add chicken) was just so outstanding. The poblano sauce was just so good. This might sound silly, but the fries that came with the burrito were also surprisingly good. They didn't stand out as special in any kind of way; they just had the perfect balance of crispy on the outside, fluffy in the middle, great flavor. Also, all the side sauces (especially the habanero) were phenomenal. In the end, it was just a great experience. The location is hidden so I worry about how they will do in the long run, but it's really outstanding and the service is like a huge relief in a sea of restaurants with terrible service in 2025. The service had that high end feel..great work here 50+ 52 = 102 Huevos (OmeletSr Loco) = Omelette filled with grilled chicken, poblano mushrooms, creamy poblano sauce, grilled corn and Mexican white rice. I've never come across a brunch omelet like this and it was delish. You can taste the great quality of the ingredients throughout the dish but it's the creamy poblano sauce that really brings this home. Tasty and savory.
