They sat us right down. Got water and silverware on the table. Took the drink order and then appetizers. Very prompt. Drinks and appetizers were right up. We got the avocado Rangoon and nachos. Both portions were huge and yummy. I ordered fish tacos and they were, guess what -- huge. She ordered the short rib mac and cheese and was large portion and very tasty. Only reason not to give it 5 stars was the price. For a casual restaurant the prices are expensive. Two appetizers, one non-alcoholic drink and two entrees was $89. Came here with my partner on a Saturday 5:30ish, since we're 80, plenty of seating and we sat outside (because it's summer and they have an outside patio, duh! Even though it was 90 degrees). My brother and I sat at the bar on a busy Friday night. The Cabot theater was hosting a show so that crowd was there. We went because they supposedly have South shore style bar Pizza. I suppose it is, but it's not something I'd get again. If you want SSBP, go to the south shore! We had the fig & prosciutto, as well as the smoked pork pizza. Neither was great. The fig pizza has a weird version of balsamic glaze that I normally like. Bartenders were nice, but super busy. Forgot to ask us for a second round until we were ready to leave. Everything about this place says go with a friend. It is a boisterous, fun, down to earth place with great atmosphere and great service. Hello. I would LOVE to give this place a better review - but i cant. My family and I have been going here since they were in their original location (right next door to its current). We have tried to be faithful and make it our "go to" place but lately thats gotten hard. My wife ordered the pineapple fried rice - under cooked rice, and i did the nachos with the Brisket where i got two pieces of brisket the size of my finger nail. Paying $9 extra for that was an insult - just not worth it. Maybe stick with the pizza or burgers if your gonna go (hard to skimp on meat on a bun - hopefully). After running errands nearby, we popped into Bonefish Harrys to try them yesterday afternoon. The interior is super cool design and the vibes were rockin'! It was not busy, and we were able to sit at the bar. Katie greeted us immediately and had great suggestions on drinks and food options. We always like to try a place's wings, and her suggestion for the island spice was very good. They did take a bit to come out, but they were hot, crispy, juicy, and tender! The seasoning reminded me of a lemon pepper with a twist! The dressing was super flavorful as well. At Katie's suggestion, we tried two kinds of tacos. The Everything Seasoned Ahi tuna was spectacular! The Tacoma was super fat with a huge chunk of tender, flavorful brisket, topped with both regular fries and sweet potato fries! The beer cheese was yummy, but it did get a little "heavy" towards the end. I even dunked this taco in the dressing we got with wings, which was also super great. The drinks were awesome and well-balanced! I loved they used the little crushed ice for them. Super fun stop in Beverly! We dropped in after a long day of traveling while sightseeing in Salem and were very pleasantly surprised! The service was super friendly and we were seated quickly. The avocado Rangoons were dreamy. I had the veggie burrito and it was the best I've ever had! Mom had the scallops and cleared her plate. Very impressed with the freshness and flavors. Thai Me Up Chicken Sandwich was so dope, the flavors melded so well, it was truly a joy to eat. Fried Fish Sandwich had a large chunk of fish inside. I was worried when I initially saw the batter that it would be all batter no fish but they really cut a big slice! Did not love the batter, too cakey for me but peel that off and the fish is amazingly fresh and flakey! I've forgotten which tacos I got but THEY WERE SO GOOD! Really enjoyed them ! Unfortunately they use Styrofoam containers for their to go, hopefully they make the switch to a sustainable option. I'd pass on the fries, sweet potato fries, and onion ring. They seem to be from frozen and were stale, nothing special there, but they're just a side show. The main event, all the entrees, are well worth the visit! We came to this restaurant while staying in a hotel waterpark a few towns away during the Christmas holiday break. Expectations were not extremely high but with two kids needing good casual food this seemed like a decent pick After seating server promptly took our drink orders and we also ordered appetizers based on our pre arrival menu browsing - Brussels sprouts and a order of fried pickles With kids working on the apps we were not rushing for the main course which the server took shortly after. Our selections were a kids fish n chips and Mac n cheese, each coming with a drink. Adults took on their selection of tacos which were prepared quite nicely and filling per piece. We were able to get down a good portion of the meal between the four of us, and by the end we still had to take some stuff back which will serve as a snack at hotel rooms for kids. Great food, great atmosphere! My tuna sandwich tasted very fresh I was super happy with the cook and taste. My boyfriend got the wings, I think they were fine- did not get much or any Smokey flavor and they are advertised as "smoked" great little outdoor patio with good music! Staff was super nice and service was quick despite being told the kitchen was super busy. Another plus was the dog friendly patio ! The Pom marg was phenomenal and my lemonade was just alright. Some complaints however I will say - server was not super knowledgeable of the ingredients in the food which is super important as people have allergies and other food specifications. Also, there seemed to be a shortage on a host the night I went so I was waiting for about 15mins. I walked around and asked some staff if it was self seating and they would tell me to go up to the front and the host will help me- well there was no host but eventually someone did come up and ask if I was being helped. I came here on Valentines Day and it was my first time eating here. I was surprised by how big the portions were. I got the Crispy Brussels Sprouts, Locos Nachos with pork and guacamole, Hank's Chicken Tendies with Bbq sauce, and the Ryal Pizza. Everything was delicious! We showed up 10 minutes before our reservation but were seated right away. Our server, Mary, was great as well. Overall, I very much enjoyed Bonefish and will likely return at some point. Ordered Bonefish Harry's through Grubhub. This was the $21 steak tip dinner that I received... And that actually decent sized tip, was so tough and gristley that I had to throw it away. I called the restaurant and they said that the number of tips was "based on weight" and that it usually is about 6 ounces of tips. This was MAYBE 4 ounces, 1 1/2 ounces of which was inedible. Deviled eggs were pretty good, but the filling was runny and spilled out of the eggs. The tacos were decent, with the exception of the Thai chicken tacos, which was mostly dark meat chicken. Overall verdict: almost an $80 dinner, and now I'm looking in my fridge for what I can eat for dinner. I can pretty much assure you that I will not be rushing back here. read more

This place fucking rocks. It has turned into a ritual for me, my sister and brother in law to go when I visit in Beverly (we used to go weekly anyway when I lived in town). Omg! I don't understsand 8 school teachers come into the restaurants on a Friday afternoon. We were told there is no seating in the restaurant but there was empty tables. We were sent to the back of the restaurant with 1 small wall separating and told this was a different restaurant. Saturday night my 16 year old son was walking home after work at 9:30 at night. He was hungry and wanted to stop into BoneFish Harry's as it is in the new location now and he has been wanting to try the food for a while. When he walked into the restaurant he asked for a menu to order food to go. One of the workers said to him "Sorry the Kitchen is closed." Right after a second employee said to my son " Ya now why don't you get up out of here you C. U. N.T." I was on the phone with him when entered the building and heard the whole interaction. He was so stunned at the interaction he turned around and walked out. He ran the whole way home in shock. For a local establishment that just expanded their business I am horrified at this entire exchange of words. Bonefish Harry's is definitely a cool spot to go if you are craving tacos in downtown Beverly. I wasn't mind blown by my food but it was good for the most part. The Baja fish needed another piece of fish because it was mostly cabbage. Hikers delight was good but it might be nice to add in a mix of other veggies instead of just huge chunks of (a tad bit over cooked) Brussel sprouts. My Bloody Mary was not very good. The service wasn't bad but I think they need a better system because it was pretty chaotic. The menu needs to be more specific because most people don't expect regular fries and sweet potato fries when they ask for a side of fries. Overall my final thing is this place is wayyy overpriced. Maybe that's just the price of food in Beverly now but I'm not used to paying $6 for one taco and a $6 mimosa is not something I've seen in a while. My wife and I recently went for a walk on Cabott st in Beverly, after working up an appetite we were on the hunt for food. Trying to figure out where to eat, we came across Bone Fish Harry's! From the name of the restaurant and by the looks of the outside one would assume that this is your typical Seafood joint. Fishermans plates, Clam Baskets, Fried and battered Fish, etc. Bone Fish has brick walls on the interior which immediately caught our eyes. The second thing we noticed was the Chalk at every table. patrons are encouraged to write on the walls! Pretty unique. Our waitress greeted and seated us within seconds of us walking through the door. She was phenomenal and extremely attentive. Yhee selection is something you would expect from a fast casual place but it has a healthy twist.You pick a protein (salmon, chicken, steak, etc), a style (taco, bowl, plate, ect), and either a rub or marinade. We elected to go with a steak plate (with the root beer BBQ rub) with fried rice and frings (frings are a mix of onion rings, fries, and sweet potato waffle fries, absolutely amazing!) and a salmon bowl. For drinks, a painkiller (coconut and pineapple concoction) and a gin-based Thyme drink (cannot remember the name of it.) Both of our meals came out delicious. The steak was in the form of steak tips, the root beer BBQ sauce ( an unexpected but great pairing), was the perfect compliment. The salmon bowl was interesting, with its combo of hot grains (rice, quinoa) and cold veg (beets, carrots, etc.). Was an unexpected find on the menu. The star of the whole show was dessert. A mixed brownie and cookie Sandwhich with butter pecan ice cream in the middle, was so good we had to finish it all! (Even though we were stuffed halfway through it. We will be back for sure. If you decide to try this spot out remember, don't expect a classic seafood joint because this place is most definitely not one. read more
