My fiancé and I ordered crab cakes, tacos and some type of chowder soup. The food was TERRIBLE. The waitress had to of noticed that I took only ONE bite of my entire plate but didn't even say anything. We didn't eat the soup either. We ended up spending $50 that just went down the drain. I really love the food. Addicted! We did experience an issue getting seated. I expect a high quality of service when I'm dropping $100 on a meal for two. We had reservations, when we arrived 10 Minutes early we expected to wait until our reservation time, but when we were still waiting 20 minutes after our reservation time I went to check with the greeter that gave us our pager. She stated that we were second on the list but since we had a reservation and the other people were walk-ins we should be next. I'm thinking uh, yeah, that's the whole point of reservations! The seating hostess and the pager hostess apparently don't speak to each other. Because another four parties were seated. I had top speak with the hostesses again in order to get our table. The manager later came by and moved us from the center of the floor to a booth, but didn't apologize for our wait just said something along the lines of I understand there was an issue.... I'm disappointed as I felt disregarded, not a good feeling when you're dressed up to go out to dinner in a nice restaurant. I'm sure I'll be back, but I certainly won't wait past my reservation time to hover at the hostess stand. Our waiter was fantastic, the food lovely (imperial stuffed tilapia and potatoes au gratin.... to die for!) the initial wait did put a damper on the experience overall but I love the food too much to stay away. read more

Not really a fan of this place. The night I went here service was slow. Our waiter was friendly but it seemed like they were a little under staffed. Once our food did arrive people the fish was a little greasy. Overall I didn't have a very good experience here but my bad experience shouldn't stop others from going here. i found this place a little overpriced. the bang bang shrimp are delicious and i enjoyed the lobster bisque soup. I was extremely unhappy with my ahi tuna. it was so over cooked i had to send it back. I ordered it rare and it was cooked solid. The 2nd one was obviously flamed under a torch as you could taste the kerosene on the fish. i've heard good things and they always seem crowded, but im not sure when i'll be back. I will also say the wine seemed a bit pricey. i also ordered one of the signature margaritas, (extra dirty or something). It came with 1 olive, when i asked for more, they said they would have to charge me for them. oh well .... read more

Gave Bonefish another try from our last disappointing visit in May. Although we were seated promptly on this occasion, our service was awful. We waited to be acknowledged. Waited for our cocktails. Our server wanted to start taking our dinner order before the cocktails were even served, then acted put-out that we weren't willing to be rushed like that. My sea bass was "meh" and the jasmine rice tasted like cardboard. The only thing worthwhile was their bang-bang shrimp, which didn't make up for such lackluster service by a moody waiter with mediocre food. I'm done with these guys. read more

This is our normal date night dinner spot! We have been coming here since we moved to CO. Unfortunately My last visit wasn't so pleasant. We start to order our favorite app (bacon wrapped scallops) only to find out they took in off the menu, total bummer. We ordered a different app and we were very disappointed! Soon after our main dishes arrived I felt something splatter on my cheek, I looked around to see what it was when I realized a waitress dropped a small cup of ketchup close to me and somehow landed on my cheek and on the table in. Another waitress walked by and I explained what happened and she noticed I had a small drop on my sweater as well. She told me a manager would be right over. Needless to say, I didnt see a manager nor did anyone else acknowledge what had happened. As I sat there and attempted to enjoy the rest of my meal I found a bunch of spots all over my shirt and a huge glob in my hair. It should have been handled, and a manager should have acknowledged the situation....Pretty upset considering this used to be my favorite place. read more

I've come here several times. Mostly for special occasions including graduation with my family, valentines day, and my fiance's birthday (he asked for either steak or seafood, this way he got both!). Every time I have tried something different and each time I have absolutely loved my meal! They have great service with friendly staff who are either knowledgeable or happy to find out more info. While slightly pricier than places I usually go, hence only coming for special occasions (darn student debt!), I find that their serving sizes are proportionate to the price and very filling! When going for a birthday just let them know and they give you a free box of toffee chocolates which are delicious! As for suggestions on what to get, definitely recommend the Spicy Tuna Bowl, shrimp or fish tacos, and I love the seasonal Winter White Cosmo to drink! read more

Good service. Good food. Good atmosphere. Great for kids with kids' menus and tasty choices. Upscale decor. My wife and I like the taste of fish and are often put off by all the fancy sauces chefs use to cover up the "fishy" taste of some seafood. They grill and season the fish here in such a way that it tastes wonderful with no sauce at all. If you too like fish and are put off by the attempts to disguise its flavor, we recommend asking for the the sauce on the side. We didn't use it except for a taste and found that the sauce added nothing to the seafood goodness. We are on vacation and are making it a point to try restaurants we don't have in our neck of the woods, and we hope this chain opens a restaurant in our area soon. read more

Walked in without reservations and we were seated immediately on a Friday night. Brandon was our waiter and was prompt in getting our drinks ordered. Our table ordered the Shrimp & Scallops with garlic whipped potatoes and jasmine rice along with the Sirloin and Crab cake with roasted Brussels sprouts and garlic whipped potatoes. Food came out rather quickly. Scallops were cooked perfectly and the steak was a perfect medium. The plate came out with green beans and au gratin potatoes as opposed to the ordered sides. I have been going to Bonefish for years and although I do believe the quality of the food has gone slightly down, the service has always been very good. Last night when I was there my wallet was stolen out of my purse during peak hours. I went home thinking maybe I had left my wallet at home when I received an alert that someone had tried to use my credit card. I called the manager to alert him but his attitude and response was very disappointing. When I assured him that I hadn't "dropped it out of my purse" and that after thinking about what happened, I did notice some unusual activity by people around me, he completely disregarded what I had to say. I have lived in Barcelona and am very aware of how this type of robbery happens, I just hadn't expected it to happen at Bonefish . I'm sure I am not the only one who got robbed last night so please watch your purses inside of this restaurant because management does not seem to care. read more

The place has fish in the name, so it almost seems sacrilegious to get anything else, but everything I've tried is great. For years, I've visited Bonefish Grill restaurants in various locations in the U.S. Up until my latest visit, I was always impressed with the quality of their food and professional service. A crowded restaurant didn't seem to lower their standards. This past Mother's Day proved to be a significant exception. My sons would have preferred to treat their mom at a restaurant. Unfortunately, my non weigh bearing status made a visit to a crowded restaurant not possible. They chose the Westminster Bonefish Grill because they knew that I had never been disappointed at this restaurant. Since I'm post op from a recent surgery, I wasn't very hungry. My only choice was the oatmeal with fresh fruit. I'm truly surprised that the person who took the order didn't let my son know that the oatmeal would come in 2 instant oatmeal packets and that the fruit equaled 4 raspberries and 4 blackberries. Needless to say my Mother's Day meal was a disappointment. If we had been given a heads up, I would made a better choice. Patrons who order oatmeal at Bonefish should be aware that they are taking shortcuts by serving instant oatmeal. Moreover, the order was incomplete. At least one of my sons' orders wasn't included. While I have never visited Bonefish for brunch, this experience has left behind a bad feeling. read more

My hubbie & I eat like seniors so, the 5:00 crowd was nice and quiet. I ordered a Moscow Mule (sweet & super cold). Then we tried the coconut shrimp for apps. The sauce comes on the shrimp instead of dipping it yourself. Kind of unusual but fine by me. For my entree I had the Chilean sea bass which had an interesting sauce (myashi? something like that....) and grilled mushrooms, jasmine rice and tomatoes with mango. The sweetness blended perfectly with the smokiness of the mushrooms. No room for dessert. The waiter was nice & amusing. When I want to go out for an elegant and romantic dinner, I often choose Bonefish! Why? Waitstaff is so amazing! They are educated, sharp, and sophisticated and never waver when I ask a question regarding food origin, quality, or flavor. It is difficult to find a place in Boulder with such superb service for an affordable price, so my husband and I often venture to Westminster on our special celebration nights. Did I mention, the food is amazing? I love the starter bread with pesto. I have never been disappointed with any dish I've ordered. Lily's chicken was once my favorite. I usually oder the nightly special these days, which is always sure to please. When my husband and I went on our anniversary, they brought us out a special surprise treat - which I won't disclose in case you also want a surprise! They offered fresh baked bread that was very delicious. Definitely recommend the cucumber margarita. It's so worth it. One of the other staff members came up to me and gave me some chocolate toffee as an additional thank you for stopping in for my birthday. This was pretty excellent I would definitely recommend the experience here for anybody who is new to bonefish or anyone who has had a bad experience to give this place another shot. I've never eaten in a BFG before and I had no idea this was a chain until after eating there. I ate in the bar twice ... and had the same thing both times: chicken and shrimp pad thai. It was fabulous. Servers were friendly and they also know how to pour a good gin martini. read more

Size of portion seems to be waning somewhat from other locations. One thing that did annoy me was the sound level; this place was packed and people were talking very loudly...to be expected in many restaurants today...but Bonefish could alleviate this very easily by installing decorative noise-reducing panels on the walls and ceiling. read more

Bonefish is great - I'm not just talking about the food but the staff are personable, friendly and do not hesitate to say "hello" when they see a familiar face. The BF and I go at least once every other week. We've gone for birthdays, graduation celebrations and just simple date nights. Portions are of reasonable size. Dishes shared and recommended: 1) Pork Fontina (meal is split into separate plates when shared - very thoughtful) flavorful and cooked to perfection 2) PEI mussels, the rich sauce paired with the gratis bread is almost sinful 3) Bang Bang shrimp will leave you graving more - enough to whet an appetite. 4) Calamari is a weakness of mine and Bonefish prepares it just right 5) Ceviche - presentation is great with large triangular seasoned crackers with a hint of spice to hold a spoonful of ceviche tanginess. I really enjoyed my experience at Bonefish Grill. Our server did a great job selling their fish special, which was their Orange Roughie. The fish was flaky and so tender that it falls apart if you poke it with a fork. It was grilled with lemon butter sauce with grilled asparagus.
