I am usually not a fan of chain restaurants, but i went here for dinner with some friends. Their bread is fresh and delicious, the fish dish i ordered was great. It was a flounder stuffed with shrimp in a delicious cream sauce. If you are in the mood for a good fish dish- try this place! read more

Visited 12/4/14 I have eaten at bonefish many times and was one of my favorites. However, disappointed in meal due to food portions and food not being served hot. First, food portions are very small for price. The quality is not as good as it used to be either. Maybe they reduced quality to save money but there is no excuse for not serving hot food. Once notified, it took way too long for replacement. Yes, they removed charge but 2 out of three of us were done eating before the one that was waiting received hot dish. The servers were good and polite, but can't control overall quality of food. read more

Always a good experience when visiting Bonefish. Service is always attentive and the food is consistently fresh and well prepared. We always get the bang bang shrimp. My father gets the oysters when available and says they are very fresh. This location gets quite crowded at times but they take reservations. Nice bar in the front. read more

Went here on a Monday night- 5/15/17, Got there a minute before happy hour ended - the bartender immediately started my order on the POS terminal to get our drinks at reduced price, the Makers Mark Manhattans were only $5. did not have reservations but got seated fairly quickly. (I see a lot of complaints about wait time in reviews here - this is a busy place - go when it's less crowded is your solution). our server was friendly and right on top of it all evening, the bacon/scallop appetizer was great, you could have that and a side and call it a meal! I got the filet and crab - not the best steak I've ever had but it was cooked correctly and the crab was great. My wife got the Crab/crusted Cod - it was also good. No problem getting a 2nd plate of bread, our water was kept full, got more drinks as soon as we wanted them, desert brownie was great. A very good evening, for a chain place this was really being run well, no complaints here! Again: If you are complaining about wait times and crowds - that means the place is doing something right and people want to eat there! Don't go on a Friday or Saturday at dinner time - that's your fault - and that applies to any restaurant. read more

My wife and I love to go to the bar only. This place is great to sit chat have some appetizers and drinks. The bang bang shrimp and calamari are both very good. Wine selection isn't great but they make up for it with great drinks! read more

Excellent Cuisine Cooks superbly with service that was very good. Menu is diverse and selections very well prepared.

Great for a nice dinner with family or a romantic dinner for two. Easy to eat healthy here and everything can be flavored the way you like it. If you are having fish (highly recommended) try asking for the sauces on the side that way, you can try each and figure out what suits you best. If you are brining kids the Chicken Tenders are very good. I really like this place and try to visit often. read more

Above and beyond our expectations, esp on a very busy Valentines Day night. Good food, service, portions, prices and attentive staff - what else could you want?? We started with Calamari appetizer and then our table savored their Orange Roughy special and Chilean Seabass while I had an Ahi Tuna entree which was like 'butter melting ' in my mouth! Our server, Robert, was excellent. We all look forward to our return visit and sampling some of their other specialties. Reservation time was honored. The manager, Nick, stopped by and took the time to talk to us and to answer our questions about Bonefish and to make sure we liked everything served. Although they had a packed house and had to turn down walk- ins, we never felt crowded or rushed. I would recommend calling ahead for reservations or even availability of seating. read more

Went to doing here on Tuesday for the senior citizen special it appears. Place got crowded early at 6 pm. I ordered the Cod piccata special as a $16 special. Nice portion but cod was over cooked and dry. There was no evidence that it was cooked in a lemon butter sauce. If you want it you better ask for it read more

Went to Bonefish Grill in Marlton for the first time on Friday night and we were certainly impressed. The restaurant had a great atmosphere but was a little smaller than I had expected. It was full but not overly crowded - probably because the snow kept some people away. I'm not much of a fish fan (my wife is) but I wanted to give it a try. In my opinion, there were plenty of fish alternatives. We started with corn and crab chowder and it might have been the highlight of the meal - excellent! The bang-bang shrimp was also VERY good. For the entree, my wife has the salmon (enjoyed it) and I had the crab cakes. Personally, I really like the crab cakes but they tended to "fall apart" because there wasnt much filling. For me, I enjoyed that because it really highlighted the crab. My wife had dessert -- coconut pie -- that she really enjoyed. Service was great and timely. I'd certainly go back... read more

We have been customers of Bonefish in Marlton since it opened. In the beginning, the restaurant was fantastic. Great "bang bang" for your buck :) I even celebrated my 40th birthday with my family at that location and it was amazing! The managers at that time really had the place running like a well oiled machine. Since then, I'm not quite sure when those managers left, but that was five years ago, it's been hit or miss. The prices have gone up and portions sizes have gone down, the food...well you never know what you're going to get. Sometimes it feels almost like cafeteria food....even the mashed potatoes coming out in a little scoop is reminiscent of my old school days eating lunch in the cafeteria. We dined there this past Saturday. The Good: my daughter ordered Bang Bang Tacos....she enjoyed them....nice portion size. My husband got the cod and it was cooked perfectly, perhaps a bit under seasoned. Our waiter was fantastic...great service, never an empty water glass. The Bad: I ordered the surf turf which consisted of lobster stuffed shrimp which was delicious but the filet mignon was a joke. It was way over cooked, underseasoned and extremely thin. I should've sent it back, but I was starving and we already had a long wait for our dinner. My son had a burger which he ordered to be medium but was well done....again...he ate it because he didn't want to wait for another. I did make a comment to the waiter that it was possibly the thinnest piece of filet mignon I've ever seen, but he chose to not acknowledge my comment. So with a bill of over $100 bucks and a subpar experience, I think we're done with Bonefish Grill. Sorry to say good bye to an old favorite, but there' are so many better places out there to chose from here in our area. read more

It's a chain. 1st time & it was ok. Martinis were good but why have watermelon martini w/ cucumber vodka-odd combo b/c all it tasted like was cucumber. People rave about bang bang shrimp. stupendous idea but why so spicy? Ok crab cakes but again spicy. Others at table liked their entrees, but we all wondered why the spinach was sitting in bowl of water-chain=frozen? Speaking of water waiter was nice guy but accidentally spilled glass water all over the girl we were out to dinner to celebrate-buddy tell manager & take something off bill! Decent prices. My family has been to Bonefish in Marlton many times and have never been as disappointed as last night. Is there a new manager? Service was awful and food was fair at best. Our waiter was either inexperienced or as forgetful as a 90 year old man. i had to ask for water, bread & sauce for my sea bass 3x. When he finally brought the sauce it was not the one I had requested. My son's meal was the wrong dish. He sent it back and got snapper that was so raw he could not eat it. The waiter also did not clear the bread dish or our appetizer plates throughout the meal. The menu also does not list pumpkin seeds on the house salad. Have they heard of nut allergies? I sent it back. I know it's a chain restaurant and not 5 star dining. But, for $200 I expect something better than the local pizza joint. Don't waste your $$. read more

Bonefish is always a fall back for us when we travel because it's so consistent. Rarely do we have a bad experience at any of their locations and their brand speaks for itself. The only variable that can affect the experience is the service and this location did not disappoint us. The food was awesome and served in a timely manner. The staff was light-hearted, attentive and professional. Another bonus was the valet parking because it seemed to be a busy location. Also make sure to make a reservation...there was a 30 minute wait for those folks who simply walked up to eat. read more

This was my first time going to the "Bonefish Grill". Since we were im a group we ordered two appetizers and 3 dishes, plus drinks. The first appetizer was excellent it was called "bang bang shrimp" it was a good portion and was very flavorful. The other appetizer were bacon wrapped scallops, which were a let down. The scallops were overcooked and and had no taste other than the bacon. We brought this to the attention of our waitress and she explained that they fry the scallops instead of grilling them to crisp the bacon. The main dishes were also a bit of a let down. I ordered tilapia with a Parmesan risotto and potatoes au gratis. The potatoes were delicious and had a good cheesy texture as it should. The tilapia, I could tell it was fresh but was not impressed with the flavor. For a restaurant that specializes in seafood I was expecting more. The risotto was pretty bad the description around the table was " undercooked rice with milk" a critical statement but true. I will say that the service was excellent. Our server "Vicky" was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. All in all an "Okay" experience. I would come back again just to try the bang bang shrimp again. read more
