5 Stars Had a fantastic experience at Bonefish Grill! The service was excellent--friendly, attentive, and quick. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and served promptly. Hardly anyone in the restaurant around 2-3pm

First time coming here. Nice ambiance and friendly waitress. They don't really have vegetarian Entrees so I got sides. I got the new pumpkin ravioli which was really good and flavorful and the risotto was also nice but a little spicy. The cocktails were fun for the Wicked movie. I recommend coming for happy hour to take advantage ofnthe discounted drinks and food items.

It is insanity how bad this location has gotten. We literally can't go in and get decent service, and the food is kind of what it used to be. Then I order from uber eats and they send me shrimp that must have been sitting for hours! It's so dry that it's borderline dehydrated. Are you guys having issues with making food fresh? FYI the servers and bartenders will sit down in a common area to eat. Not so bad if they are on break. Pretty terrible when they are doing that and they are the bartenders who are supposed to be serving us. *side note... super cute that the manager responds instantly to a bad review but didn't pay attention to the quality of service and food the last couple times I've been a patron at this location.

Food is not worth price people kept telling me to come here and I don't understand why lol. Customer service was great. Utensils were dirty along with the napkins that it came in. I've had much better for half the price as you can see appetizer came half burnt lol. First and the last thanks though :)

Bonefish is one of those restaurants that confuses the heck out of me. I can never figure out what kind of restaurant I'm in. On one side there is a sports bar vibe and the other is a fine dining vibe. Waiters dress like it is a nice restaurant, but I'm drawing with crayons on the table watching a sports game that's on across the hall. Aside from the confusion, my food was great. I got a filet mignon with rice and asparagus. The filet and rice were top notch. I was only given 4 pieces of asparagus which I thought was a bit odd. The workers were very nice, but the food take very long to come out. This was especially surprising because we ordered our food ahead of time (before getting there). Overall, I wouldn't pay to come back here on my own dime, but the food did taste good!

I like bonefish grill it is a nice restaurant and my favorite thing to order from there is the bang bang shrimp. The times I have been to this restaurant I always get seated quickly even on busy nights and staff is extremely nice. One night got there kind of close to the restaurants closing but they were still extremely nice and attentive, and they even gave us a free extra desert. One of our waiters, can't remember his name, but he was extremely nice and entertaining. I also really like their fish and chips. The food always comes out hot and fresh. The atmosphere is very nice; it is a good spot for a nice night out.

Somehow whenever my family is in town, we always end up here at least once, even with all the cool spots here in Gainesville. We always enjoy the food here, as we're big on seafood and Bonefish never disappoints. The Bang Bang Shrimp is an absolute must and definitely what keeps us coming back! The Key Lime cake is also a must try if you have a sweet tooth. Something unique about the Gainesville location is the consistent amazing service! The staff here truly is awesome & the service we receive never disappoints!

Every time I go to Bonefish Grill I'm reminded how covertly elegant it is: Bonefish verges on fine-dining seafood, depending on what you order. I came with a friend for an early Saturday dinner. We of course had to order the Bang Bang Shrimp, which are a Bonefish Grill classic. You can never go wrong this these. We also ordered the Baja scallop and shrimp scampi linguini, the grilled shrimp and vegetable pasta, and the pumpkin lava cake. The pasta dishes came in large portions and had a good amount of seafood. They boasted great flavors with rich and creamy sauces. The pumpkin lava cake melted in your mouth with added whipped cream and vanilla ice cream on the side. One thing I've come to realize about Bonefish Grill over the years is no matter what, one can always get a great meal.

3.75 stars:) Hours are 11 AM till 9 PM Sunday; Monday thru Thursday 11 AM till 10 PM, & 11 AM till 11 PM Friday & Saturday. There are three separate menus-- Lunch, Dinner, & Bar. I hadn't stopped in in probably a decade. When this location first opened, my then husband and I went relatively often because the food was excellent. Over the years it began to decline, but today it reminded me of the quality restaurant it once was (w/ some minor exceptions). The diverse, two-sided lunch menu offers a good array of food; everyone in your party should be able to find something of interest-- see menu pic. Menu prices appeared slightly higher than average for similar foods, & $3.29 for unsweatened iced tea was unacceptable, especially when the only available To Go cups were small in size. With that said, the warm ciabatta bread w/ dipping oil (brought to each table) was EXCELLENT. Our three entrees ranged from satisfactory to excellent. The $16.50 Bang Bang Tacos were EXCELLENT. The Baja Shrimp & Scallops Linguine @ $18.90 was VERY GOOD. And the 7 oz Sirloin w/ Crab Cake @ $24.50 was GOOD-- see pic. (It may have been very good had it been served @ a warmer temperature. Additionally, the plating was horrible.) The Imperial (seafood) Dip @ $11.50 was warm & DELICIOUS, & the accompanying housemade tortilla chips were PERFECT. The Premium Side of Bacon Mac & Cheese ($3 upcharge) was VERY GOOD & very cheesy. However, I sent the cup of Corn Chowder w/ Lump Crab back; at $4.90, it was SO SALTY that not one of us could eat it. Our service by Audrey F. was PERFECT. The restaurant appeared SPOTLESS. We made an Easter reservation 6 days in advance, but it wasn't necessary; upon our arrival & departure there were available tables. The dining room hosts new padded (& bulkier) chairs; movement between tables can be a little difficult. There's a gorgeous bar in one room. Sparkling, white, rose', chardonnay, merlot, cabernet, reds, pinot noir, & sauvignon blanc are the available wines. Additionally, there are three Draft beers & eight bottled beers. Five hand-crafted cocktails & five Signature Martinis are also offered. And last, but definitely not least, is a Signature Red Sangria & a Signature White Sangria-- each $7.50. Should you stop in w/ elderly relatives, you may need to accompany them to the restrooms; the wooden door was so thick and heavy that even I encountered difficulty w/ it. There's outdoor dining & curbside pickup. Delivery is available via Doordash & Uber Eats. There's also Family Bundles that range from $35 to $60; they include a main dish, salad, bread, pesto, & housemade cookies. Become a "Bonefish Grill Insider" to earn rewards for your patronage. Will I return to Bonefish? I rarely frequent chains, but w/ a friend's invitation I wouldn't say No. Overall, the food was much better than expected.

I could have sworn that I saw the restaurant shut down over the summer? I saw boards on the windows and no cars in the lot.

It was probably during the demolition of the buildings around them. They are open though.

Gainesville Seafood, out on the Eastern end of town, is that place. It may not be the easiest spot to stumble upon, but that's part of its charm. This is the kind of hidden gem that loyal regulars keep quietly to themselves, the sort of place that feels like a reward for those willing to seek it out. The atmosphere is relaxed and unpretentious, the kind of no-frills setting that lets the food do all the talking. I went for a seafood platter, which was shrimp and fish with fries. They have a variety of different kinds of fish available that you can pick from, which is a nice touch. It gives the meal a sense of personalization that you don't always find at casual seafood spots. I went with the flounder, and it turned out to be an easy choice to feel good about. The platter was generously portioned, the kind of meal that leaves you satisfied without the need to contemplate dessert. All of it was excellent. The flounder was light and flaky on the inside, with a crisp golden crust that had clearly seen well-seasoned oil and confident hands in the kitchen. The shrimp were equally well-executed. They were plump, tender, and fried just right, without any of the rubbery disappointment that lesser seafood joints often deliver. Even the fries held their own, providing a solid, starchy counterpoint to all that seafood goodness. The wait wasn't at all bad either, which is worth mentioning because a place this good can often mean a crowd. Service was attentive without being overbearing, and the whole experience moved at a comfortable, easy pace. Whether you're a Gainesville local or just passing through, Gainesville Seafood is the kind of place worth going a little out of your way for, and once you've been, you'll understand why people keep coming back.

We started with the Tuscan Bruschetta with vine-ripened tomatoes, basil, red onion, and balsamic glaze. The presentation was beautiful, and everything looked so good when it came out. We also tried the bourbon mushrooms, which unfortunately weren't my favorite. They were a little bland and seemed slightly burnt to me. The 14 oz. New York strip, though, was absolutely delicious! It was 20-day wet-aged beef and definitely the highlight of my meal. So much flavor and cooked perfectly. For dessert, we had the crème brûlée, and they surprised us by decorating the plate with "Happy Anniversary." Such a sweet and thoughtful touch! We finished the evening with a double espresso. The service was exceptional from start to finish, which really made the evening feel special. We would definitely come back for another special occasion!
