We visited on Valentine's Day and had a fantastic experience! The service was wonderful, and the food was even better. Highly recommend the fried green tomatoes and the sirloin--both were excellent. Loved the charming decorations. We'll definitely be back!

Second time stopping in. Not a lot open on a Monday here. Even on a Tuesday not a lot of great food out this way. We stopped in for early supper/late lunch. Ordered the twin pork chops.. wow!! I asked for peach BBQ sauce on the side. The chops did NOT need any sauce. Just yummy as is! Same is true about the salad, btw. Ranch dressing was overkill for all the yummy veggies in there. Mashed potatoes were nice too. Kudos to the chef!! Still have Christmas decor up.. it's growing on me;) I never give 5 stars but it was deserved today!

This was our second time coming to this local establishment. First time was about 3 months after they opened. Was not impressed as many items on menu on Sunday at noon when they just opened weren't available (didn't have it). Chalked the visit up to new business and ordering issues. Fast forward to this past Monday for an early dinner.. walked in and one family was eating. There were 2 other tables that hadn't been bussed. No one at the front to welcome us either. After waiting a few minutes a young lady came out from the kitchen and apologized for our wait. We were then seated and the waitress informed us that she was the hostess, waitress and might have to be the cook at some point . (Not off to a great 2nd visit ) Waitress was very nice (not her fault of the work environment) . Our order was taken and food came out quickly. Food was tasty with the exception of my burger which in my opinion was wayyy too spicy/seasoned and smoked- but the menu said it was a smoked bacon jam burger. Nevertheless I ate it and moved on to dessert... went with a key lime dessert; other choices were banana pudding or Cheesecake Factory cheesecake which was odd. If I wanted a Cheesecake Factory Cheesecake I'd have driven there. I'm not sure if we're going g to give this place a 3rd try. Many people around rave about it but just haven't had that experience ourselves.

Love Green Barn! The steaks are amazingly tender! Wonderful service and atmosphere! It's our favorite restaurant in Tri-County area.

Well we came across this trstaurant by chance as the actually place we wanted to eat was closed on Sundays. So we were already close by so we took a chance and opted for the green barn. We were sat down right away and our waitress was very friendly. We ordered our food, and everything came out in an orderly fashion.just right, my salmon tasted awesome. Wife was not too impressed with her pork chop, but they did look amazing. Very casual atmosphere and could see it being a romantic setting.

When complained another breast sandwich was sent right away, but was not cooked. How can you send out RAW chicken! Made due with over-cooked first order to appease my appetite, and not to complain a thirtd time. but both a sad looking chicken choice for the $10.99 price tag. For Desert we decided to share the Brownie Sunday. In many restaurants desserts are served up in skimpy portions, not at Treasure Camp. The portion was so large that we both ate plenty of it and brought home enough to finish off another meal. If you enjoy a rich decadent gooey brownie with a generous portion of vanilla bean ice cream, this will be the dessert for you. They also had Key Lime Pie, sizzling Apple Pie and Vanilla Bean Ice Cream. Treasure Camp Restaurant is well off the beaten path, but the food makes the drive worthwhile. If you have a boat you can also arrive that way. There are some cabins, but we did not look at them . A boat ramp is adjacent to the Restaurant and Store. After your meal you can stroll along their dock. This Restaurant has a Chiefland address, but is well outside the town. We drive from Dunnellon about an hour away, we were told that they have frequent diners who come from Crystal River and Homosassa Springs which is even further. Most people would not make this trip unless the food made it all worthwhile. We would definitely make the drive back here again!

I guess it began as a truck stop decades ago and then became solely a restaurant. Anyways, they have had a cosmetic refresh, painting the building, adding cute signage including some features explaining Bett's long history, and just made the dining rooms a down-home but clean and inviting place now. This goes a long way: I am all for hole-in-the-wall restaurants but you don't want a place to look dirty, either. Bett's no longer does. It looks comfortable and plain-spoken, honest, and home town now. The food has always been good. You get a menu dinner or daily special--things like chicken fried steak or liver and onions or fried mullet--and a choice of three sides. The sides range from mac-n-cheese and collards to normally a couple homemade desserts: the peach cobbler and strawberry cake both are not to be missed. Portions are generous. Their Friday and Saturday all-you-can-eat seafood dinner is also a real deal and good food. Red velvet cake, caramel cake, and lemon cake are hits too but less frequent in their menu appearances. Ford hook limas sometimes show up too, slowly cooked with bacon or ham and are awesome. The painting and general interior and exterior refresh really went a long ways with me to have greater confidence in Bett's. It's now easily a place I rank with some of the region's best country/Southern cooking restaurants.
