We were a party of 11 on a Saturday. The kitchen is small, but the food came out in a steady stream. I had fried oysters and onion rings, my sister-in-law a cheeseburger with fries. Both were good. Oysters were plentiful and moist inside. Others had shrimp which got lots of praise. After lunch there were plenty of complements on the ambiance and food. We plan on returning. This place is deep in the country. When we left I had no cellular service and had to remember the roads we came in on. That and the cars compass got us well on the way.

Delicious spot for lunch on the Swanee river Plenty of seating indoors and out - come by boat or car Friendly service, dogs welcome Try the grouper Reuben- delicious!! Drink rival 7-11 for size! In a rather residential setting where a number of homeowners had confederate flags flying

What a beautiful spot right on the Suwannee River, the wait staff was very friendly. The food was good as well, we had blackened mahi mahi, fried grouper sandwich and the camp burger. We had the blue crab claws and brownie sundae for desert.

The song add on TV late one night decided to try this place .took a nice ride about an hour outside Gainesville. Random chickens and animals out and about. Food was ok. Waitress was awesome. Would like to try their breakfast some time. They also offer cabins to rent right there on the Suwannee.

What a treat! Had a great experience while working in the area. Treasure Camp definitely exceeded my expectations as it just looks to be a hole in the wall. Service was great! Steak, salad, & sweet tater fries hit the spot. Will definitely be back the next time I'm down this way! Attached a picture to capture the ambiance of the place and it's got a great little atmosphere! 5 Stars

Neat little gem on the river. Very casual but food is on point. There was only one hiccup, but was corrected immediately which is why I gave a 4 star. No matter what you can't serve a cold dish that is supposed to be hot/cooked. Once the waitress was told our grits were ice cold she apologized and brought out another one. Hiccup solved. We will be back!! Pictures don't do the flavor justice.

Grilled grouper sandwich and fried okra.

But when I first visited Harry and the Natives about 6 months ago I realized this place was different. Now, I can honestly say it's a place 'I look forward to' vs. a lot of The Villages food options which are 'places i settle for'. Pricing is fair for the quality you get. The drinks are Tiki inspired and delicious (I highly recommend the Village Dodo) and you can tell they pride themselves of freshness and quality. They have some of the best crab cakes I've ever had, a bit pricey but they are almost 100% crab (almost not binder/filler) and if you know the price of crab these days you'd understand the pricing. For me, a Village Dodo drink, Filet Mignon medium rare 'surf and turf' style with a crab cake, and creamed spinach side served outside with the tiki torches blaring is near perfection in a meal.

Food was very tasty and we all cleaned our plates, even my very picky elderly step father. But the highlight of the experience was our server - Bobbi V. She was AMAZING! Well, if it's never happened to you then you probably haven't been to Blackwater Grill and Bar. I came in looking forward to the comedy show and dinner I and 3 others came for and a guy who was a bartender/ host ( maybe?) said you can't go upstairs because we were early ( 15 minutes to showtime). He then walked away without out welcoming us or suggesting that we have a drink at the bar, he just walked away. The waiter upstairs was preygood considering how overwhelmed he was due to the rush and understaffed bought over a glasses of swamp that looked and tasted like it had sea-monkeys from the 70's. No bottled water for sale. At the end of the show, one of the comedians announced that the show had a tip bucket that you could leave 'tips for them and he stood in the exit doorway with a bucket, partially blocking the exit ( worse than outside a Walmart or WaWa ) then the bright laser bean lights came on before anyone got a check. Very negative vibe here folks.... Here's you hat what's your hurry credo.

KC Wine Bistro intrigued us with its varied menu offerings. Upon walking in, we were asked to sit anywhere. We chose a table inside, not aware that there was ample outdoor seating just out back. We were presented a menu and my wife and I chose to start with traditional lumpias (Filipino egg rolls). My wife ordered the Ahi Tuna BLT and I opted for the Ribeye Rice Bowl. The lumpias were very good. Freshly deep fried, hot and crispy served with a sweet and tangy chili sauce. My wife liked her BLT and the huge spears of fried potatoes served with it. They were quite generous with the pieces of ahi as well. My dish was equally good with tender and flavorful slivers of ribeye in a flavored rice and grilled vegetables. Service was friendly and attentive. After our meal, I chatted up a lady who I learned was the proprietor and who just happened to be from the Philippines. We'll definitely be back!
