We wanted to try somewhere new for breakfast, and Peach Valley didn't disappoint. They offer a brunch bar, so we had to try the peach mimosas since we'd never had a peach mimosa before. It was surprisingly delicious, and the peach flavor tasted homemade. I ordered the steak and eggs breakfast, and everything arrived hot and cooked to perfection. The steak tasted far better than its $18.99 price tag would suggest, with very little fat and perfectly balanced seasoning. Our daughter can be a little shy sometimes, and our waitress Paola was incredibly kind and patient with her. She ordered the steak and cheese sub and said it was really good, with a generous portion of meat. The restaurant was very clean, and every staff member we interacted with was friendly and welcoming. They also offer outdoor seating, but we visited during a heat wave, so we definitely appreciated the air conditioning inside. Parking is also very convenient if you park behind the restaurant. Overall, we had a great experience, were very satisfied with our meal, and will definitely be back. read more

Easy to find and get to, parking is plentiful and essentially in back of the restaurant. They had indoor and outdoor seating. It's a pretty big place. The service was excellent, they took pretty good care of us as my wife's waffle seemed to get lost in the shuffle. I had avocado toast which was pretty mediocre. The tomatoes were pretty pale and I know they got good tomatoes in FL! The avocado was more like guacamole and the multigrain wheat bread was meh. Kind of disappointing to be honest. I met my parents for lunch at this location yesterday, and it was one of the worst restaurant experiences I've had in years. I ordered a French Dip sandwich that was absolutely disgusting and completely inedible. It never should have left the kitchen, and the fact that a manager was expediting food and allowed this to be served is inexcusable. The bread was clearly stale, old, and extremely tough. The sandwich contained four paper-thin slices of what was supposedly beef--completely flavorless, dried out, overcooked, and with the texture of leather. The au jus was a joke: cold, watered-down liquid with brown coloring and zero flavor. Calling it au jus is generous. I immediately told my server and asked that the sandwich be hand-delivered back to the manager. Despite this, no manager ever came to the table, acknowledged the issue, or attempted to resolve it. Instead of enjoying lunch with my parents, I didn't eat at all. My parents' turkey Reubens were no better. The sandwiches arrived barely warm, the fries were cold, the bread completely fell apart, and the meat spilled out everywhere. It was obvious there was zero care taken in preparation or presentation. Food quality, attention to detail, and customer servic, especially from management were completely nonexistent. This restaurant is failing at even the most basic standards of service. If this is what is being sent out of the kitchen, serious changes are needed immediately. Based on this experience, I will not be returning and cannot recommend this location to anyone. read more

We stopped by Peach Valley Café and were originally told there'd be a 20-minute wait, but it ended up being closer to 10 minutes for first available (inside or outside), which was a nice surprise! I ordered the Healthy Start--egg whites, turkey, baby spinach, and tomatoes. It usually comes with potatoes, but I subbed for fresh fruit and an English muffin. Everything was fresh and flavorful, and the portion size was just right. I also had a classic black coffee, which hit the spot. We also tried the Very Berry Stuffed French Toast--thick French toast filled with creamy mascarpone cheese and topped with raspberry and blueberry compotes along with fresh berries. It was rich, sweet, and definitely a shareable treat. On top of that, we ordered a latte and a chocolate chip pancake, both of which were solid choices, especially if you're in the mood for something sweet. Our server, Sam, was super friendly and helpful throughout--great service overall. One odd thing: there's a 1% fee added to the bill for the plaza. Not exactly sure what that covers--I asked and was just told it was for the plaza. Not a huge deal, but worth noting. Overall, a great spot for breakfast or brunch with a solid menu and good service. Closing out our "get away" in Gainesville, we skipped the breakfast at Sweetwater Branch Inn (which is always great!) and decided to dine at the Peach Valley Cafe at Celebration Pointe. Obviously it hasn't been open all that long - everything is shiny and new-tables, floors, dishes, etc. It has a lot of both indoor and outside seating. We were seated immediately and Lindsay, our server promptly took our drink order and answered a few questions about what the menu held. The stuffed French toast was delicious, all the fruit was very plump and sweet. The skillet was well prepared, and just the perfect amount. Peach valley is a local chain diner, albeit cleaner and than most. This location was a bit hard to find because the front door is on what most would consider the back of the center mall. Once we found it though, staff were kind, we were seated quickly, and there was plenty of bright, natural light. The Sack of Apple Fritters were good but more dough than apple, which was a little disappointing. My Benedict was okay, nothing special, but on par with the price. Overall, brunch was affordable and quick so we will definitely be back. read more

Food and service is great. PROBLEM. Having to wait an hour because they don't bus their tables. Had to offer to help them because they had 9 tables dirty for over 30 minutes. Then they had one person cleaning and she had no tub. So everything had to be carried by hand. And all of us know that it's almost impossible to clean tables by carrying everything by hand especially when the waitresses don't pick up the dirty dishes as they go along. Lazy waiters = more burden on busing = poor service = longer wait times = what other restaurants are available nearby = lost revenue and customer base = defunct business. So I highly recommend this place if you live here or are just in town. The service was excellent. Our server was so nice and energetic, especially with the kids. The food was too salty, and this place is charging a one percent dine in fee to eat inside the restaurant. I only spent $36 here which was $.35 for the dine fee. But nevertheless, there is nothing on the menus nor in the front that says anything about a dine in fee. I will never eat at this place again ! read more

They have the best shrimp and grits in Gainesville. I used to go to the former location all the time. I've only been to this new location about four times. Unfortunately, there are some consistency issues with my favorite dish. I am hoping that they can be more consistent with the flavor profile/ recipe. Lively spot for the brunch crowd. Our server KG was great. She was attentive, very polite, and wanted to be sure that we were good with everything. For a party of 6; she did a great job. This location just opened so I will add a caveat to this review. I look forward to trying again in 6 months. My wife and I arrived at 755AM on Saturday. The restaurant was 1/3 full with tons of staff. The space was clean and we were very excited. We were seated quickly and had our drink order taken within minutes. It was almost 15 minutes before we saw our waitress. We placed our order and the wait began. 30 minutes later, after noticing other people who arrived after us had their food, I grabbed a different staff member and asked where our food was. We hadn't seen our waitress since we ordered. Another 20 minutes goes by and our waitress comes over. She tells us that our order was lost in the system and that she would get it put right in. Shortly after a manager came over to apologize as well. By then we had decided that we would be leaving and we got something to eat at Haile Farmers Market. Mistakes and software glitches happen. Had Sunday brunch today and it did not disappoint. The line was long, so I grabbed a seat at the bar. That is where all the action is. The team at PVC is working hard to serve their customers. I had a Mimosa and Traditional Eggs Benedict. Everything was delicious and on point. The crew is friendly, the restaurant is brand new and spotless. There is a very large "porch" with covered seating outside. From the turn out today, Peach Valley Cafe is going to be very successful here. read more

The breakfast omelette was served cold, and the biscuit was over cooked. We were not given or asked if we required straws. The water had a distinct taste, which was probably from the glass. If you are giving this place anything over a 1 star you need Jesus. Dining anywhere you should be greeted by a waitress within 45 seconds of sitting down not 15 min. The menus given to us by the manager had syrup all over them, the menu stuck to the table. The food tastes like my middle schools cafeteria, if you have a chef that doesn't know how to make decent food then maybe downsize the menu and have staple items. I should have looked at the photos people posted prior to coming. DONT order the Bloody Mary's - your blood pressure will thank me. It's got 1oz of vodka and about 10oz of pure salted mix. Assume it is for Celebration Pointe which is fighting bankruptcy. Dumbest thing ever, we are being taxed beyond reason in this country. Addition charge of $3.39 for extra gravy which was not a charge at former location. $6.58 for 2 coffees. I only ordered 1 so assume additional cost was for the refill. Although we were anticipating another person, the waitress did not check in with us until 15 mins later. The food was amazing, however our server Gigi S. was very rude. I had ordered two sides of potatoes and my husband ordered the Eggs Benedict. When she brought out our food they included one of my side of potatoes on his plate which is no issue if they would have just corrected it. Instead when I talked to our Gigi she said that either we would get charged for another one or have to have his replated, however he had eggs that were runny and I don't eat eggs and the thought of having to pay more for there mistake is very strange to me, so I spoke with the manager. The manager was super nice and friendly and got things taken care of for us but when Gigi came back out and I asked where my new potatoes were she said that's not how that worked and questioned if the manager had actually said that, just as she was doing this the manager came out with my potatoes. Overall the food is great and the manager is great but Gigi has some serious attitude issues that makes it a bad atmosphere to be a guest there. read more
