My recent experience with this restaurant was very nice. I sat at the bar and was greeted by Olivia and Nick with a smile and immediately handed me the menus and asked me what I would like to drink. The service provided was excellent. Food was timely, temperature correct and delicious. I started with the crab cakes which are consistently good, and had the featured sea bass with sautéed spinach and whipped potatoes. I got the key lime cake to go and it appeared to be very dry when I bit into it which was disappointing. I would go back and recommend this restaurant. read more

My 4 year old loves this resturant and had been requesting to come here for some time. I received the email a few days ago about the lobster weekend specials which I've had twice before and it was amazing so I thought why not. I got the lobster ravioli again this time it was very different from the last times. The crab cakes were good so no complaints there. The lobster bisque was too buttery tasted like I was eating butter flavored tomato bisque with lobster in it. Only wish this lobster had come on top of my ravioli I I didn't complain about it I just ate the lobster on top of it. My son always gets the trout (sea bass on occasion for milestones) so it's always very consistent. My only gripe is the ravioli I felt cheated so it certainty put a bad taste in my mouth cause I love this place. I asked the server if he could inquire about why he was diff he said that might be just how it's supposed to be , he stated that maybe it's changed since the last time I came. I showed him the image on their social media and the email they sent me this past weekend. I asked if he can inquire with the kitchen. I told him this has no lobster or tomato on top, this version I got was very bland in taste and not a lot of sauce I ate one of the 5, figured I would have to take it home and add some sauce and flavor to it, and maybe a topping of something. He just had this look like welp sorry. Moments later he brought the check. I asked if he could ask the kitchen he just kept saying it should be like that without any empathy I had to ask him twice prior to him bringing th check,He then brought me the to go box to put my uneaten food in. I inquired again, pleading at this point because I wanted to k ow for future is it going to remain like this so I know not to come for lobster weekend. He came back to close me out i asked again and he responded that he did ask the kitchen and they said it was not supposed to come like how I got it it was supposed to be like the picture. He is saying this As he collects my payment. I am thinking wow was he not going to devolve the info to me, at all , he was just trying to get the payment processed quickly and have me pay for something he knew was not what I ordered, was trying not to make a big deal out of this as I was on a fast that day and this was my first allowed meal of the day luckily the apps held me over. But I just couldn't imagine paying that price for a dish that is not complete. After he walked off with my payment I asked another person passing if they can get me a manager he came right away once I explained it he took the ravioli off and apologized for his servers lack of customer service. I hated having to jump around through hoops. The last half of my dining experience was unpleasant and uncomfortable the server made me feel like he was being Inconvenienced . And despite the unfavorable experience what's most disappointing is that I still felt obligated to leave a descent tip b/c my family frequents bonefish often and always leave atleast 25 percent so although no tip should have been given I don't want to ever have the reputation of being that person. Hats off to this restaurant! This was my first time here and it will not be my last! I had the Parmesan crusted rainbow trout and O-M-G was it delicious! Not only was the flavor good, but they literally brought me the whole fish. Finally a restaurant that gives you the best bang for your buck! I also had the sautéed spinach and garlic mashed potatoes as my sides. Yum! The olive oil and bread was absolutely incredible. ORDER - BFG Fries - Tuna Poke Bowl ( I ordered this ) Other foods pictured: Bang Bang Shrimp Tacos, Corn Chowder and Lump Crab, Half-Pound BFG Burger The BFG Fries were definitely great! I really liked the Bang Bang Shrimp sauce. It was tangy and there was a little bit of spice. The fries were crispy and not soggy. The crab was also fresh and had no signs of fishiness. Overall a great way to start our meal! I ordered the Tuna Poke Bowl while my family ordered the other items pictured. The tuna was fresh and again there were no signs of bad fishiness which was good. I will say that I found it a little weird that there were peppers inside just because I'm not used to that in a traditional poke (from other poke joints I go to) - it was alright. The vegetables were freshly cut so they tasted good! Though I am not super versed in the poke world, the poke tasted more salad based than Asian-based. I did have some flavor fatigue from the sauce in some areas and didn't personally like it too much but if you like a salad with dressing or something similar, that is what this dish tastes like to me. Overall mid to me, but I can appreciate and see how yummy this dish is to other people. Also, all the meals come with bread and olive oil with pesto to start which is light and well-flavored so no complaints there. As far as other comments on the food from my family, I would say that the only other thing is the burger plate was more on the salty side but other than that good! VIBES Definitely more of a formal rather than casual dining place in my opinion. The waiters are dressed up nicely and there is both table and booth seating. The lighting is a little dim but whiter which gives a nice, ambient vibe. Great for more business casual/formal casual type feels (if you know what I mean). SERVICE Service was phenomenal. He ignored us, got our order wrong (because he ignored us), did not bring our drink order, did not ask if we wanted bread. I had to call for the check. We came in tonight after my fiances little sisters graduation ceremony, we had a party of 13 and called about an hour before close. As someone who has worked in the restaurant industry my whole life, I felt extremely bad. I know how frustrating it is when you're about to be done for the night and a big party walks in. However, ALL of the staff welcomed us and didn't make us feel like a bother at all. Our waitress was very quick, attentive, and sweet. I wish I had gotten her name to give her credit. But she was serving the last table in the restaurant on May 20th if that helps lol. I just really wanted to say thank you to the whole crew, you made us feel so at home and made the whole experience enjoyable. Hadn't been in many years and tried it again for a later evening dinner ... there were few people so ambiance was nice and quiet... very clean and tables were pre set beautifully .. we were greeted and welcomed by a nice young man .. sat at booth for longer than necessary until one of three waiters, Sawyer came to serve us & asked what we wanted to drink. Being late we chose water and provided our appetizer order. These came out in the next 5-7 minutes- a cup of the special menu tomato bisque and bang bang shrimp. The soup was nice and hot big plus for being hot but the shrimp were blah. Too much green onion garnish and the bang bang sauce was more like a mayo thousand island dressing and did not hit the spot. We asked for bread as we saw he took some to other table but wasn't forthcoming to ours. It was fresh out of the oven and delicious so what like a fresh ciabatta with a side of garlic oil pesto very good. We selected a entree from the special menu to share, the creamy Rose linguine with shrimp. It came out split for each of us which was nice. Three shrimp on each and the sauce was not creamy at all and it was a very thin line feticinne noodle, very little sauce but the fresh tomatoes, mushrooms and spinach were on point and you could taste the freshness. It was delicious but the shrimp weren't grilled enough and were a bit muggy and well bleh. Service was a bit slow as we had to wait a bit to have water refilled but he did ask how we were doing once and did finally notice we needed water without us asking. At the end we asked for more bread and explained how we'd use the leftover bang bang shrimp as a po boy sammie for lunch next day. We asked for dessert and selected the coconut pie which he warned was very heavily coconut, he wasn't wrong but it was amazingly delicious. Very rich and definitely lots of layers of flakes but the syrupy rum sauce was what made it over the top delicious. Total bill was $60 for two apps, water, one split entree - worth it? My husband and I are regulars here and have been hearing for years that they are soon going to be offering wifi. We get very poor phone service inside the restaurant. Most people live on their phones, so it would be nice to be able to quickly access websites. The barstools have also seen better days and would do us regulars good to have new ones. It is a tad fancier than most places, and the place was decorated quite nicely (no hard lighting, and the seats were comfortable!!). the staff was attentive and our waiter was rather nice. This was one of my favorite local restaurants so we went for Mother's Day. We were seated at table that had outdoor chairs that didn't fit the table or ambiance of the restaurant. They were extremely uncomfortable plus the menu changed drastically 3 weeks ago- not for the better! We ordered fillet with shrimp & scallops for $40. My fillet was the thinnest steak (looked worse than a Chili's steak) arrived over cooked, there were 3 shrimp that were the size of my thumb nail, zero scallops. My daughter ordered the same. She had zero shrimp & scallops that were so small it looked like pieces of scallops- the size of my pinky nail. How they offer scallops on a skewer is comica. Previously we had a good experience here but we came here Friday night and it wasn't the best. Our server was kind and attentive so my review doesn't have to do with service! My husband was debating the Chilean Sea Bass because it's a little pricier and he wasn't sure if it'd be worth it. Well...it wasn't. As you can see in the picture, the filet had to have been about 3oz at best. For a $40 plate we thought this was extremely underwhelming. He finished his plate and was still hungry (even after a big order of bang bang shrimp - not pictured). We've had Chilean sea bass at other places (like Eddie V's) for around the same price (if not more) and they provide a larger serving of the fish. It was really disappointing. The sirloin plate was pretty good but not anything that I'd HAVE to have again. What a bummer! We used to really consider Bonefish to be a treat but I'm not sure we'll be back. read more

What Happened to Bonefish? I have been to this restaurant several times over the past few years and it's always been amazing. Food was always great, service was amazing, and the atmosphere was always classy. Saturday night my wife and I went to this restaurant and the first thing I noticed was that the tables had vinyl / paper table cloth, it used to be linen. Ok before I go any further a disclaimer - The waitress was very very nice, and so was the manager/staff, and it is why I left a 20% tip. The food I ordered (which I always order there) was the Salmon on the cedar plank with the mashed potato's. The Salmon was dry and it seemed to have been over cooked. I pointed it is out to the waitress and she reached out to the manager who immediately ordered another Salmon. Again, dry and over cooked - He explained that - "that is the way the Salmon is cooked via convection oven". I did not like it, I ate about a third of it and considered my dinner done for the evening. My wife ordered the Filet Mignon with Mashed potato's and salad. The steak was cooked as ordered but it was tough and grislily. She had a hard time eating it even though it tasted good, but it did not seem to be a quality piece of beef. So, what happened to Bonefish? It was such a great restaurant and my wife and I were so disappointed. Again, the waitress and staff were wonderful and I believe they tried. And, the manager did comp my meal even though I told them it was not necessary. Not sure if we are going back, we may give it another shot but only based on the future reviews. A little disappointed with Bonefish a couple of weeks ago. Ordered the 3 item special: Tomato Bisque soup, grilled salmon with whipped potatoes and Cole Slaw, plus the Chocolate Bliss for dessert. The bisque was very flavorful and nice & hot. I asked for the salmon to be cooked medium rare but it was came out well and dry. The desserts were fudgy brownie-like squares - Chocolate Bliss had dollop. of whipped cream on top with a few shreds of basil (I think) while the Macadamia Nut one was the same chocolate brownie with some chopped macadamia nuts on top. Let me just start with the Blacked Baja Fish Tacos. OMG. Really flaky pieces of fish with mango, coleslaw... It was a party of flavors in my mouth! So YUMMY! I got the green beans instead of fries, needless to say, there was nothing left! My friend got the fish and chips and really enjoyed it. I stopped in and had a seat at the bar for some quick bites and a drink. I started with the Parker's Margarita which was soooooo good & strong that I had to get another one. There's tequila and Grand Marnier in it. The bartender, Jocelyn, took great care of me. I had the complimentary bread & oil which is always good and the Bang Bang Shrimp which the restaurant is known for. The Caesar salad was lacking severely but the molten carrot cake and ice cream made up for it. Keep in mind, the Parker's margarita was so good that I came back the very next day and got another one! That time I had the Corn & Crab Chowder which was good. It could've been better if it was hot. It was barely lukewarm. Other than that, I'll definitely be back for margaritas & shrimp. Okay. I've done an earlier review of this location. We wanted to give it another shot. We ordered pick up last night. Simple order. We followed the process and arrived only to sit outside for 15 minutes waiting for the food to be brought out. I noticed other cars waiting but no food being delivered. I went inside only to find it sitting on the order pickup rack by the host area, along with other orders. Three people were standing there doing nothing. I told them we'd been sitting outside and had texted our arrival, and they just stared at me. One young man grabbed a bag and said here it is. No apologies, nothing. I went outside and told the other people waiting that they better go inside. Once home, the food was obviously cold, but it was also bland and overcooked badly. I've had better cafeteria food. I suggest the manager shore up operations quickly and speak to your cooks about food prep. This is three meals in a row for us. And at $75 for one meal of a chicken breast and two sides, and the other a piece of salmon with a veggie and extremely dried out rice, that's not good. Not to mention, you automatically add a tip, which is usually fine, but not for me to drive and pick it up? And they don't even bring it out? Hate to write this review, but I hope it helps the manager see a progression in the food and service. Oh! One other thing. I got the order at 7 pm. Came here on a Friday night with my in-laws and it was packed! Food was good and came out fairly quickly. We really enjoyed the bang bang shrimp, calamari, and parmesan crusted trout. The beef and ginger potstickers were drenched in what I assume is soy sauce - it was way too salty. Our server was attentive as he could be given how busy they were. This is some of the WORST food ever!!!! I ordered the two lobsters tail dinner with veggies and Mac and cheese with a house salad and an appetizer of crab cakes. The crab cakes had absolutely no flavor of crab just filler. The pieces of crab I picked out of the crab cake were the texture of an eraser. Both of the lobster tails were overcooked. I decided to try them out since I live in the area. Upon arrival, we were seated(I made reservations). Very nice ambiance inside . I ordered the Atlantic Salmon with whipped potatoes and jasmine rice. I also got the bang bang shrimp for an appetizer. Oddly , my main course came out before the appetizer but I was still very pleased. The wait time was less than 20 for both of the dishes to come out. The salmon was okay , just needed a little more flavor. The bang bang shrimp was mouth watering!! I combined it with my salmon and was able to enjoy the whole meal.
