For the appetizers = Bang Bang Shrimp and Blackened Chicken Egg Rolls = GREAT! I had trout for the first time (Rainbow Trout with Lemon Caper Butter, Asparagus, and Garlic Whipped Potatoes). I don't remember what everyone else got - but everything was wonderful! The waiter ~ Nick G ~ was GREAT! On Saturday, 10/18, I went back with some friends after a church event. We had the same appetizers. I got the Dynamite Salmon on Dinner Special Menu (think that's what it was called) - it was FANTASTIC (picture attached). Watermelon Martini- 3.5 STARS...This martini was good. A fresh taste of summer. It comes with two watermelon cubes. The vodka is cucumber and it's refreshing. I just wish it had a tad bit more watermelon flavor. Lychee Martini- 4 STARS...This Martini was yummy and delicious. You could definitely taste the Lychee flavor. This is a spot you can dress up or down-- the dim lighting and intentional decor makes the dining experience feel intimate and elevated, but not stuffy. I ordered the family bundle that is all over Tik Tok and it was not worth it. Go to Roadhouse instead - the chicken was good, the macaroni was dry and the salad was brown and had to be tossed. The service was lacking but the ambiance was clean. The hostess did not use gloves while going to the chicken in search of my order, she was also not familiar with the curbside pick up policy and said that it was not offered at their location. We ordered to-go before we got to our hotel. We selected the mussels in the white wine garlic sauce to share. My fiancé ordered the sirloin and shrimp plate. His two sides were the broccoli and Cole slaw. I ordered the trout from the grill with mango salsa, whipped mashed potatoes and broccoli. They gave us the crispy cauliflower initially in the place of the broccoli. We told the hostess that we did not order that but they let us keep it anyway. I wish I ordered a different fish. The trout was butterflied and made it very thin. And because it was so thin, it came out dry when they grilled it, and got even more dry when I had to heat it up in our room. It used the mango salsa on top hoping it would give it some moisture but that didn't correct the dryness. The fish also needed more seasoning (like blackened). The sides were good and I really enjoyed the mussels. Their coleslaw came as a dry cabbage salad with a "sauce" on the side. My rating is 3.5 stars and the dining experience as a whole average down to this. The service, location, and menu prices are excellent, but the execution on our main entree was disappointing. My brother, who uber eat his steak meal from here, said it tasted better delivered than dining in. I was so sad to hear that his steak was burnt and cooked well done which he did not enjoy at all. He was shocked and was not in the mood to complain during this Xmas season. My meal on the other hand was cooked fine but it lacked flavor. There was nothing spectacular about it. The bacon mac and cheese tasted plain, the steak and mashed potatoes were OK. I did not like the house merlot but I did like my old fashion. The winter Cranberry cosmo was great along with the pomegranate martini which I got a few sips of each. The key lime cake was different and unique to try. What happened? Food was terrible today. Haven't eaten here since great food in February, but everything is bad today.The grilled fish was overcooked. The asparagus were absolutely garbage, yellow and tough and shriveled. The broccoli was nasty looking some pieces were rotten and it had a rancid grease taste. This never happened previously over past 2 years. Something is wrong here! Maybe a new manager? Not returning until I get some answers. Restaurant was eerily empty at prime dinner time as well, maybe they are running off customers? Nobody read this review. There was an instantaneous auto-reply at 2am! lol. The manager and staff just stand around while fellow bartenders or servers go down in flames being too busy as there are no bussers or back up staff and zero teamwork at this place. We had a lovely Father's Day experience at Bonefish Grill. It is a very expensive restaurant and a nice high service experience. I am glad I made reservations- the dining room was packed! We ordered from both the regular menu and the special Father's Day menu (see pic). The watermelon martini was out of this world. Of course Bonefish is known for its great cocktails and today was no different. As this is a seafood dining experience, there are no vegan or vegetarian options of course. I ordered the small house salad (which is still huge, see my pic) and enjoyed it. The combo of pepitas and kalamati is interesting and maybe not my favorite but definitely hit nutritional needs. Companions ordered mahi mahi (the star hit of the table), chimichurri steak (said the chimichurri wasn't amazing), and steak and shrimp (lived their meal). All the sides were tasty and no one finished their plate- way too much food offered. We all enjoyed the bread and oil that cane fresh to the table. I am glad this restaurant still offers it. Our servers were superb. Of tiny complaint given the price point- when seated, our table obviously had been sat at and not wiped. I had to request it be cleaned. Not my expectation. Also, my house salad was too heavy in its dressing. I've enjoyed all my experiences at Bonefish, even though I don't typically eat seafood. This is a great place to be. read more

I don't think I've formally written a review for this place. My husband and I have been coming here for years, starting at The Woodlands location 8+ years ago. The food has been consistent, which keeps us coming back. The quality of their steak and seafood for the price can't be beat. We also love that they regularly have specials that are different than their regular menu. I'd recommend to anyone to get the bang bang shrimp appetizer. This is what sold us on this restaurant years ago and now we get it every time. Unfortunately I didn't snap a photo this time. Their espresso martini is my favorite espresso martini (second photo). This time I had the bistro filet (which pairs really well with the chimichurri sauce) and kung pao brussel sprouts. This steak has slowly become my usual order. Also be sure to check out their pairing dinners! We've been to many including a wine pairing dinner and martini pairing dinner. My recent experience with this restaurant was very nice. I sat at the bar and was greeted by Olivia and Nick with a smile and immediately handed me the menus and asked me what I would like to drink. The service provided was excellent. Food was timely, temperature correct and delicious. My 4 year old loves this resturant and had been requesting to come here for some time. I received the email a few days ago about the lobster weekend specials which I've had twice before and it was amazing so I thought why not. I got the lobster ravioli again this time it was very different from the last times. The crab cakes were good so no complaints there. I asked the server if he could inquire about why he was diff he said that might be just how it's supposed to be , he stated that maybe it's changed since the last time I came. I showed him the image on their social media and the email they sent me this past weekend. I asked if he can inquire with the kitchen. I told him this has no lobster or tomato on top, this version I got was very bland in taste and not a lot of sauce I ate one of the 5, figured I would have to take it home and add some sauce and flavor to it, and maybe a topping of something. He just had this look like welp sorry. Moments later he brought the check. I asked if he could ask the kitchen he just kept saying it should be like that without any empathy I had to ask him twice prior to him bringing th check,He then brought me the to go box to put my uneaten food in. He came back to close me out i asked again and he responded that he did ask the kitchen and they said it was not supposed to come like how I got it it was supposed to be like the picture.
