The AC drain backed up under the sink so they were able to clear that out for me. I had not idea the AC dumped into the sink so Dwayne gave me some education along the way which I requested when he was done. Duane installed a new hot water heater for us. Same size as the old one. But now, we can only get two showers of hot water if we're lucky. Or one shower and a dishwasher load, and we're out of hot water. I explained our problem to Duane, and his response was for us to get new (low flow) shower heads. That doesn't add up because we didn't have this issue before with the old tank. Since the new tank is under warranty, I asked Duane to please come and investigate if there was a potential issue. He came once, after many, many phone calls and texts asking him to come, and left without a clear explanation of anything, only saying he was going to check with the manufacturer. Haven't heard from him since (months ago) and he does not respond to calls, voice mails or texts. Service after the sale = 0. read more

We hired to Bond Plumbing to do some work for our company. We accidentally overpaid them. When we brought this to their attention they first they avoided contact with us. Finally they contacted us and gave a personal reason they could not pay us their overpayment. We agreed to wait for a few months. Now we cannot get a hold of them and they have dissappeared. I would recommend to stay away from this company due to their ethics. read more

Shower knob valve stem exploded in my shower while I was trying to fix a loose handle and had to shut off water to the whole house. We hired him to put in a water heater in 2019. He said we didn't need a permit by the city because it wasn't required. When we turned on the hot water, there was a knocking behind the walls. He came back and claimed it was pipes knocking together. Couldn't trust him and we put up with it. Had a plumber come by for a tub issue and I asked his opinion on this. He viewed the water heater and saw it was too rusted for its age. Well, Bond forgot to add the expansion tank. I do recall asking him why no permit and he stated in THAT conversation he was trying to save me money. So he basically changed his answer from the first time I asked him. If you have to pay a plumber to fix another person's poor workmanship, you should be made to reimburse for that job. Heaven knows I wouldn't call him back to fix it because now he can't be trusted. Bond Plumbing came out to quote a gas line installation for my BBQ grill. The quote came in 20% less than the next best quote, and I appreciate that he came out to actually quote unlike others who guessed over the phone. I watched Mr. Bond do much of the work out of personal curiosity. The work was done extremely well with great care for detail. He relit my gas heaters since he had to shut the gas off. Before entering the house he got shoe socks and them on to not track dirt in the house. It was a great show of caring and service. One part didn't fit, and he went to the store and got it and didn't charge extra. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! read more

Called Duane on recommendations from others in our neighborhood. He messaged setting up a date and 2 hour window to come replace a shower valve. The time cane and went, no Duane. He messaged that a job had gone long and would we be available the next morning. Okay, things happen no problem. However the next morning was Saturday and we had plans so I asked for an alternative date. To my surprise he suggested Sunday afternoon! I accepted, very happy to have the shower fixed before Christmas! We cancelled plans to be home Sunday and guess what? No show, no call. It's now Wednesday and haven't heard from him. I can't speak to Mr. Bond's plumbing expertise. I can say that he was extremely frustrating to communicate with. I left a voicemail and texted him. He said he was interested in the job. I submitted a form on his website, he emailed back to say he would call me the following Monday. He never called. I texted again; his reply: "I thought I emailed you." I have subsequently called and texted him on several occasions without any response. I am seeing a similar trend with other reviewers. If you're able to get him out, he may be great. We have used Bond Plumbing twice, once over a year ago. The first time we had a leaking kitchen faucet that we tried to fix ourselves. We were convinced it may be the actual faucet leaking. Bond Plumbing came out and it was just a loose fastener. They tightened it and didn't expect payment. My husband paid them anyways. Today my daughters shower faucet stripped and the water was running full stream. We were frantic and I texted Bond Plumbing. They responded to our home quickly and fixed the problem. They are amazing. Very friendly and extremely honest. Great price for service that was provided. Marine Veteran family owned business. I can't say enough about them. Side note we are in a winter storm advisory today and they responded so quickly. We had to turn off our water at the main valve and this situation could have been so much worse if it hadn't been for them coming so quickly. I am so thankful to them. read more

Called Duane regarding a faulty water heater. He was at my home the same day. Analyzed the problem and went to get the required part. Returned to my home to discover he had been given the wrong part. Had to return to parts store a second time. When he returned to my home, he said "don't worry, I'm not on the clock for that (second) trip". His price was very fair and he provided prompt, friendly service. I enjoyed chatting about our prior military service while he worked. In the evening, he texted me back asking if it is ok to call me back in the following day morning. I said fine. He called me next day in the afternoon and asked about the job. My hot water heater went out. I called Mr. Bond based on yelp reviews. He returned my call promptly and got me on his schedule the same day. He was polite and cordial and said I'd be his last stop of the day. He stated that would be around 4pm. I called him and left him a voicemail at 5pm stating I had to step out but my wife would be home to let him in. And that's the last contact I had with him. He did not call me that night nor the next day. I hope he's ok , but if he is I cannot recommend him. I cannot say this enough and it goes for many businesses; it is ok to reschedule or run late but you must update the customer. I had other things to do at 4 but I canceled my plans to be home. Another plumber called me back that morning and I told him I already had an appointment with Mr Bond and to disregard. Wish I hadn't told him that. read more

I found Duane to be an excellent plumber and an extremely nice guy. I really enjoyed having him around. He was more than willing to answer questions and give advice. He did a great job at communicating if there were any delays in his arrival. Of course with us delays are not a big deal as things cause delays all the time in every day life and sometimes things are beyond your control. Duane is awesome! Had a pressure reducer go out and killed the water pressure to my home. Called Duane and left a voicemail and he called me right back and worked me into his schedule the next business day. Called a bit before he left for my location so I would have time to get home to meet him. Work took about 45 minutes to excavate and replace the valve and prices were very reasonable. A few mths ago my Fri.afternoon DIY #$@!*&^!! disposal attempt fell on my hand with a nice deep cut requiring stiches. Who did I call 1st, ...doctor ?? NO !! I would never recommend Duane Bond or Bond Plumbing!!! He installed a bathtub and shower for us in our master bathroom several years ago. Last summer 2018, our master bathroom flooded, so I naturally called him back to fix whatever was wrong. Duane Bond came out and jackhammered a huge hole in the corner of my brand new bathroom travertine tile floor and unbeknownst to us at the time, hit a main line in the process. He left that day with the huge hole in the floor saying he didn't have the correct parts. The next day we followed up with him and he just left us hanging with a huge hole jackhammered in our tile floor. We never heard from him again!!! After having several plumbers come out to look at the new mess Duane Bond created, and his initial work of the tub installation, we were told that he used the wrong pipe fittings for the tub install a couple of years before which is what caused the leak/flood. We were also told that he never should have jackhammered through our tile floor after the flooding. He should have rerouted that entire line, and the fact that he jackhammered the floor, he either didn't know what he was doing, or he was intentionally trying to cover up his first mistake of using the wrong fittings. He hit a main line with the jack hammer!!! So, after paying him $1500 to install our tub/shower, then him causing us an additional $5K in repairs to fix the flood he caused, but then jack hammering our travertine tile and just leaving it, and us, with no response, I cannot recommend Duane Bond and Bond Plumbing at all!!! read more

I used Bond Plumbing twice to install new water heaters in my home. Both times he was very responsive and quite reasonable. The work was always done quickly and he was very pleasant. Unfortunately, while installing the second water heater the individual assisting him put his leg through my ceiling. Duane was very apologetic and told me to get it fixed and send him the bill. My issue is not that he put a hole in my ceiling, accidents happen. My issue is, once I got the ceiling repaired I contacted Duane to let him know the cost but never heard back from him. I have contacted him at least 5 times trying to get reimbursed but he simply won't respond. He seemed like such a nice man, I am very disappointed to find out otherwise. read more

We made an appointment for him which required me taking a day off work. Mr. Bond never showed, I have left multiple voice mails but days later still no response.The only reason I am leaving 1 star is that Yelp won't let me leave less that that. read more
