Excellent excellent Wings!!! Highly recomend this place! Will totally keep coming bck to this place!!!! read more

Great service! Great food! The interior of the restaurant is beautiful. Recommend the spicy wings if you can tolerate spicy food.

I've been here several times and have to day when they say spicy they mean SPICY. The wings of course are what most people come here for because they're crispy and spicy. But I also have really enjoyed their other dishes. The seasoned fries with spicy mayo is a must. Tacos are a solid choice, and I recently tried the Bull Dak and it was really good. Spicy chicken, grilled onions, rice cakes, covered in mozzarella with a mound of rice served on a sizzling platter it's super yum. And also super spicy. My lips were literally tingling for a good half hour after eating the dish. The rice got a nice crunchy fried bottom from the hot plate. And I usually don't like onions but these onions were cooked and grilled really soft and added to the dish really well. Definitely worth a stop, be prepared for a little wait for the chicken as it's prepared to order. And make sure you get dessert at the bakery in the plaza afterwards! read more

Used to enjoy this place but recently has gone down a bit. Food doesn't taste like it was before and service is iffy.. I had to wait a while both times I have dined and it wasn't even busy. Also the floor is very slippery so be careful read more

Disappointed. The katsu chicken was dry and seemed like it was refried. The soy garlic fried chicken was salty and lacked flavor.

The best popcorn shrimp hands down and they always have the best service. Love the food and love the people! They're great! Definitely would recommend coming again and again!! read more

Food is great but they are inconsistent. It seems that every time I food they miss portion of my order. Then when I call they don't answer the phone. read more

Ordered a to go of chicken wings and seasoned fries. Got home and checked and noticed that I never got the seasoned fries and got charged for it. Tried to call The place and is not answering at all. I know it gets busy but Pls be consistent with your orders. Will not come back to this place. read more

I have to get wings from here weekly. I love chicken wings in general but I will without hesitation say this place has THE BEST wings you will ever eat! They come in two flavors, spicy and soy garlic. I sometimes find spicy to be too hot, but there's so tasty that you can't stop eating them. If you like wings this place must be checked out. read more

Food was mediocre for the price. We also told them not to add sesame seeds to one of the dishes due to allergies, but they added anyhow and it was too far to go back to complain or request a new dish. Half and half boneless chicken was ok, but the bulgogi and other chicken dish were not flavorable. Hope other bonchons are better than this one as it was our 1st experience after hearing favorable reviews for this franchise. Definitely not going back to this one and have to think twice about visiting the franchise. read more

There is not a need to explain to you, just order the combo of chicken and you will be hooked.

I love this place it is amazing ! My favorite is the spicy chicken my husband likes the soy garlic ! If you want real Korean wings come here

Highly recommend for the fried chicken here although it's a little big size for me. The people is very friendly . So close by my house! Love it! read more

Best place for korean chockenn. Very friendly staff. Kevin was very helpful with our order.

I got their boneless spicy wings and I fell in love instantlyyyyy. The portions are very big and very satisfying.

I really like the food. The problem is service widely varies from just okay to pretty awful. Staffing issues maybe? They also seem far too concerned about being on the phone for to-go orders and less concerned with customers in the store. Biggest complaint of all, way too cold in the winter AND way too cold in the summer. Whoever is in charge of the thermostat must be a walking corpse. read more

Awesome food for first timers. Good amount of options and good introduction to Korean food. Highly recommend coming here. Great music/environment! The staffs are friendly! read more

Great service and delicious food! Kind staff who check up on you, but once you're settled, they give you your space to enjoy yourself!

Terrible service hot sauce not good garlic soy can not get extra sauce on the side. Do not recommend to anyone got to Bombay Bowl or great seas or Buffalo Wild Wings instead!!! read more

I've been here twice and I've never really been disappointed, the food is great and always served hot, the waiter that served us the first time was funny and great. I have recommended this place to everyone I know; it never lets you down. read more

Never had Korean friend chicken before but this was a pleasurable experience. Skin was really crispy. Liked the honey garlic one better than the spicy one read more

This place had great chicken wings when it first opened. Unfortunately, they continues to disappoint me with the quality of their fried chicken. Just ordered 20 hot wings to go and the wings did not taste fresh at all compared to how I normally get it before. It's hard to justify a good reason for me to keep coming back. read more

This restaurant is my favorite place to eat at. Their staff is very hard working and respectful. The owner is a great man as well. I have nothing but good things to say about this place. I became a customer by delivering doordash for them. And they were always quick. The food always smells amazing whenever I deliver from here so I just had to try it.. If I could give 10 stars I would. read more

Amazing wings & great service!! Seating and chicken can take a while when it's crowded but the food is well worth the wait.

During my visit back home, my group and I decided to stop by Chinatown to check out Bonchon. Ordered the half and half which came with 5 soy garlic and 5 spicy small wings along with some seasoned fries. The staff was super friendly and the food came out pretty quickly. The breading on the wings had the perfect amount but the spicy was a bit too hot for me to handle. I honestly enjoyed the soy garlic much more because it had a nice sweetness to it. My friend got the spicy drumsticks and they were huge! 5 is def enough for one person. Overall, would recommend if you're looking for some wings! read more

I would not order chicken to go. It came soggy and not crispy due to condensation build up in the containers. They tried to poke holes in to let chicken cool but it did not help and when I brought the fried chicken home it was more like soggy chicken that was barely crispy. I would recommend eating at the restaurant read more

I heard slot about this place and tried it out. Not impressed at all. I still prefer Gus's in the city.

when we tried to use the yelp offer, the owner said he'd only honor it if we rate him 5 stars on yelp? even though the only condition for that offer was that we check in there.... we even showed them the offer and they claim they never made it? weird vibes all around... read more

Great spot for a quick meal. Service is fast and the place was spotless. I got the kimchi bacon fried rice. Good place to get it for a decent price and not drive all the way into the city from the burbs for it. read more

Hate to be that person but this place is just bad. They offer curbside but doesn't take payments over the phone?! Wtf?! Makes no sense. Said my order would take 30 min and I said I'd pick up in an hour and still not ready. A couple of people in the kitchen NOT wearing masks!!! Are you freaking kidding me?!!?! Terrible!!! Not coming back to this location. I don't feel comfortable with how it's managed. read more

Ordered 30 chicken wings twice and it was less both of the times. I wish they were honest in doing their business. I would not spend money on a fraud establishment. read more

What happened to the original Bonchon chicken recipe??? I live closer to the Schaumburg location and used to go there. But the last two times to Schaumburg, I got sub-par chicken. The recipe was completely changed. No more of the light, crispy, juicy, airy chicken. I heard the location changed owners. Because of this disappointment, I decided to travel further to Glenview Bonchon hoping they still did it right. What a huge disappointment to find that they have the same terrible chicken as Schaumburg. Now I wonder if Glenview and Schaumburg have the same owners who have butchered the Bonchon name. Warning to everyone, this place does not have the real Bonchon chicken. They have chicken that tastes like every other chicken place. Anyone who has had the real Bonchon knows what I'm talking about. Only hope now is that Chinatown Bonchon is still unchanged. Here is a picture of the tiny, dry chicken that I got tonight. Those who know the original chicken knows that this looks nothing like Bonchon. read more

The service can be Terrible. Some of the staff are rude and/or just don't care. I work in customer service, that is unforgivable. Obviously some are good but the bad service is a large part of the luck luster reviews for reasonably decent food. read more

The fried chicken was delicious! We tried both the original and the spicy chicken, and we couldn't stop. We ordered another half order because the meat was so juicy and the skin was perfectly fried and tasty! We didn't order many appetizers so that we could enjoy our meal, since it is perfect portion for 2 people. read more

Best wings ever so fresh and crunchy I like there soy garlic and spicy sauce and also I order japchee love love love it right now only carry out I am desperate waiting for their dinning ... definitely going back read more

Quality and value of food is very disappointing. It is not worth the money here. My children called their boneless wings "Costco chicken nuggets". They also need to improve their service. read more

Had the unfortunate experience of ordering food from here through door dash. Long story short I was delivered food that was not even close to my original order. I called Bonchon to see if I could find out what had happened but was basically greeted with unfriendliness and overall attitude that they were upset that I was upset. Not one ounce of effort was made to resolve my issue. I kindly asked if they could check what the order door dash sent them so I could find out who was responsible but basically had the phone hung up on me instead. I feel bad giving out 1 star but the attitude and unfriendliness by the employees that were working there 9/24/2020 at 1137pm honestly deserved 0 stars. I will not be ever ordering from here again. read more

Had such high hopes but alas this location has disappointed on multiple visits. Chicken is OK to decent but everything else is unimaginative and frankly poorly executed. Would not go back. read more

We called in a carry out just after 5PM on a Friday night. They provided a 40 min wait time. When we arrived, it was already packed with diners and a lot of phone order receipts on the front counter. The front counter staff was super busy taking phone orders and attending to walk-ins and those picking up orders. We picked up our trays of 30 Spicy and 30 Garlic Soy wings that came with a small container of pickled radish and coleslaw. With such a big order, we could have used a few more containers of those sides. The chicken wasn't sticky like other Korean Chicken places and it was definitely crispy! Some of the Garlic Soy wings had more flavor than the others. While some lacked flavor, the good ones in the batch were very delicious. Everyone that ate the spicy wings said they were a strong level of spicy, but loved every bite. We'd be back to dine in to get the full experience next time. read more
