Built in 1897, this may be one of the oldest spots I've visited. Cute corner spot with outdoor patio bench seating. The staff consist of two very helpful teenagers. With a pretty straightforward menu, hot dogs, fries, ice cream. Ordered a few hot dogs with toppings and ate them immediately, so no photos. The steak fries were perfectly crispy. I got a scoop of the banana cream pie ice which was nice and creamy. If you're ever in the area, it's worth the try.

What a super cool little Oyster Bay gem! This fourth generation ice cream and hot dog shop just radiates charm. With very reasonable prices, tons of quaint personality and a whole lot of history, Bananza's is a destination in and of itself. I came in the other day for the first time and ordered me a large ices, consisting of half cappuccino crunch and half Oreo. It was absolutely delicious. It was perfect for the hot summer day, although I could still picture myself enjoying it even on a cool spring or fall night. While it was my inaugural visit, I will certainly be back again soon!

A cute stand in Oyster Bay near the Oyster Bay High School football field and LIRR parking lot as well as the popular restaurants on the main block. They not only offer a huge selection of ice/Ice-Cream flavors, they even serve food such as hot dogs! The ice/Ice-Cream comes in a small and a large size. Fortunately, you may choose up to two flavors for the small size. I got the orange cream and the piña colada. Both were delicious! They even have a seating area in the back if you prefer to sit and eat. Very cute place and service was great! Would definitely come back.

cute, small shack stand in oyster bay serving up a HUGE menu of inexpensive italian ice and quick bites! note, that they are cash only! service is fast and friendly. We tried a small peach italian ice and chili dog. The peach flavor was super nice and fruity, tart and sweet! It did taste a bit like an artificial peach candy, but I still enjoyed it. I also sampled their pistachio italian ice and think that is a very popular flavor. My boyfriend got the chili dog, and I thought it was good when i tried a bite. The italian ice and the history of this stand are probably my favorite parts! it's been in the family for four generations and is the oldest continuous family business in the area -- how cool!

GREAT Ices in Oyster Bay! Bonanza is consistently amazing. I have been coming here with my students for years after we sail on the Christine at the WFC. The homemade ices are made with great quality ingredients and have excellent flavor. This year, the students' favorite choices were Blue Raspberry and Chocolate Oreo. Bonzana's staff is also fantastic. They are always kind, patient, and helpful. Great location and so quaint, can't wait to go back!

There are 50 icy flavors you can try! I did enjoy my Reese flavor and orange cream. The Reese flavor was sweet as I thought. There were nutty peanut butter pieces inside. I did not prefer the Reese's because I think it could've been more Reese pieces like. It was an orange and white color icy. The orange creamsicle was refreshing! I did like the flavor. It is perfect for the hot weather.

    There it is...still the same!

I grew up going to the bonanza stand. 40 years later it looks the same! Still serving hotdogs and Italian ices. I had to order the lemon ice. Others ordered the watermelon and a chocolate. I have to admit I was very disappointed that the lemon ice was VERY icy. The watermelon and chocolate were smooth and amazing. I just thought I would have the old staple and fan favorite the lemon Italian ice. At the end of the day I didn't care. I was just so happy to have the opportunity to go back after so many years.

The stand, ordering here... Keep your distance.

Discovered this place on Trip Advisor and perused on Yelp to confirm, great local shack that serves hot dogs, drinks, and lots of Italian Ices. This place is located on a corner spot, steps from the Oyster Bay LIRR station and Post office. There's no tables or chairs so you need to grab and go. The ices come in two sizes, small or large. That just means more scoops. The Pina colada was my first choice given the reviews but alas, sold out! I opted for coconut instead - excellent choice. It was refreshing, had coconut bits and it's texture was a tad creamy so it was not just ice. My family and friends got the pink lemonade - a favorite in this group of kids, lemon and orange. The lemon is classic, as it sounds. The orange had a good concentrated flavor so it was not watery as I expected. It reminded me of drinking a frozen Tropicana juice. Very good. The menu of flavors are too many to detail here but next time, if I am not aiming for summer time flavors, I'll get the mint chocolate or the Reese's. Drooling just thinking of it.

I don't know much about Oyster Bay but I DO know that I am a fan of the Bonanza Stand. There are A TON of Italian Ice flavors to choose from and I am sure they are all delightful. Sadly I did not try one on this visit but now it gives me more reason to come back. I admit I omitted from the Italian Ice bc I had a huge craving for the bonanza fries (aka with chili + cheese) and it was very worth it! So worth it in fact that I ate it twice on this day trip. I said what I said. Aside from fries, your other savory options will be: nachos, hot dogs, and pretzels. While there is a consistent stream of customers, most are to-go orders so the dining out back never really gets crowded (a win during these COVID times). Solid spot. Just remember to bring your ca$h monies!!!

I was immediately greeted in a friendly manner which was good because previous reviews reported hostility and nonchalant responses to customers. I ordered cheese burger, fries and cheese steak ( 2 sodas). I felt it was a bit over priced, Came to almost 50 bucks with tip. But thats besides the point. Food came rather quickly. And off to eat I went. First the cheeseburger. It was ok. The bread was cold and dry. Im not used to having actually cold buns on burgers. Usually its heated on the grill in most places but thats just my preference, although it was cold, As if it was refrigerated and only taken out as the meat was ready. The burger lacked flavor and the size of the patty was normal sized I guess, it might have been a little under 1/4 pound. Then the cheese steak. It had a lot of meat and the bread was warm but it was overly saturated in oil. The steak was bland despite the onions and peppers. The size of the sandwich was basic and honestly, the cost of it may actually be on par with what you get, minus the flavor. I will say, it was very reminiscent of Steak ums, (if you know, you know). The fries were the best part of the meal. They are definitely fresh or tasted fresh and cut decently. It came with the Cajun seasoning which was a plus. I actually think it's better than 5 guys Cajun fries. To sum it up. Sids is a good place for a quick bite. A bit pricey for the quality but over all decent. Will I come back, probably not, but thats mainly because I don't live close by. It has indoor seating, not alot but just enough to get your fix and keep it moving. The interior was pretty clean and decent parking.

There were also cobwebs that hadn't been cleaned out next to our table-- but heck, for the prices we charged, maybe we should have eaten the spiders to make up for it.

As an appetizer, we got the Rhode Island Calamari, which was fantastic! I ordered the Fig & Prosciutto Flatbread pizza as my entree. It was good. I liked the combination of sweet and salty. The people I was with both ordered a burger, which did look good. The service was okay, I guess. It took the waiter a while to get around to taking our orders, and then even longer for it to come out from the kitchen. My food was lukewarm, but I was hungry, so I ate it. The place was nice and clean and well-lit. Okay, so here's why I'm leaving a 1 review: At the end of the meal, the waiter came over, handed us the bill, and said if we went online and left a 5 review, then showed the review to him, he'd give each of us a free beer.
