Closest thing we've found to NY style pizza in southern Delaware. We will definitely be back again.

Pizzas okay. Do NOT get the eggplant parm. Seems frozen to the point of mush and everything's overcooked.

Coming from North Jersey, finding great pizza has been a challenge, however Bona's is as close to good pizza as I have come. I order two large cheese with half sausage and half meat ball. It's so good! We also order their Stromboli with sausage, peppers and onions or Cheesesteak. Very delicious! Their Calzones are also very good! The girl who takes the order is fast, efficient and friendly. Price is reasonable and the ambiance is a typical pizza parlor. I highly recommend. read more

Hands down best pizza on longneck. Wings are meaty and cooked perfectly. Sauce had a good flavor without being over spicy. Definitely will be back to try the hoagies. Service was great and polite even tho they were busy. read more

Great little pizza shop down the road from our camper. Prices are reasonable and food is better. The club sandwich is bigger than the average persons mouth and tasty. Cheese fries are solid because they use steak fries. The cheesesteaks are probably the best in the area. The even have some middle Eastern food that we are going to try next time we return. The staff is friendly and the gentleman who I assume is the owner is a character and very quick witted so be prepared for a great experience if you run into Jerry. read more

Order spaghetti to go 5/26. Had to wait 30 minutes!!! How long does it take to freaking boil spaghetti, meatballs and sauce are pre made. This place needs to get their act together. Will go to Grotto's next time. read more

We used to love this place so much, and were a little concerned when hearing it was going under new management. Tried it out last week and it's the same quality and still amazing. The new management was great and hospitable, and could tell they were passionate about delivering the same quality you are used to on top of it or rolling out more ordering solutions for delivery or quick pickup! Really good New York style pizza. There's several pizza joints in the area and by far this is the best. I've had it twice in the last few weeks and it's now my go to for carry out. It's so hard not to get the pizza when I order because it's that good, but don't pass on the subs. There large and overstuffed with meat. One large sub will easily feed 2 people. One of the hidden gems of Southern Delaware. I frequent Rehoboth Beach throughout the year to visit family. In the past if I wanted a slice I would simply go to the nearest Grotto's. Sick of soulless, corporate pizza which was about as tasty as the cardboard box it came in, I found myself wanting something more authentic. That's when I discovered Bona. The short drive to Long Neck was well worth it. This is far and away the best pizza I have had south of New York and east of Chicago.The pizza was delicious and gave me everything I had been craving. Not simply a meal, I think what I ate may have been closer to art. I cannot wait to explore the menu further on my next trip into town. Let me be the one to tell you: GO HERE. PLEASE. I recently started going here this past summer and now I order from here at least once a week. The pizza is beyond amazing and surprise... I hate pizza from anywhere other than my freezer. This is absolutely the best New York style pizza you will find anywhere in long neck. Now for the hoagies, again, AMAZING. I honestly believe that anytime I get something from here that it will be made correctly because not once have I had an incident where I wasn't happy. The people are so nice and friendly! Compared to grottos or dominos (or wherever you get your pizza) bona will beat all of their prices. There is so much food for a $ pricing. read more

I feel bad leaving such a review but well I gotta be honest here.. I think the people working there try hard and well rely on tourism to make it work, but obviously they are new to this. I think they put effort yet we waited so long for a simple order or plain cheese pizza slices that took forever (made me regret eating pizza even more)... Even though they have a deal for $5, 2 slices and a fountain drink I feel it's not worth it... When you can get much better pizza in NY for cheaper and yeah NY is freaked expensive but good pizza doesn't have to be. The extra star was added because you can eat outside and it's nice. read more

Stopped here after work because I wanted some pizza. There are 3 pizza places within eyesight, but I chose this one because it had good reviews. Well, the good reviews are well deserved. The pizza was pretty delicious. A medium one topping and 2 liter drink special was $13.50. We also got the 10 pc hot wing. The pizza was pretty big and 2 hungry guys had a hard time finishing that meal. The wings were just ok, but their mediocrity was definitely made up for by the pizza. I wanted so bad to be able to leave a nice review. The owners are so nice and they and their team were working so hard. They were clearly in the weeds so I can understand and forgive a "45 min" wait turn into over an hour (for pick up.... two pies and Stromboli) but the pizza was by far the worst pizza I have ever had. My kids didn't even like it and we eat a lot of pizza. The dough was clearly left uncovered before baking and had no flavor but that of salt. The sauce, meh! So for a coupe slices the cheese was eaten off the top and the rest went into the fire pit. read more

Don't know what happened, new management? New pizza maker? I loved this pizza and today I went and ordered 2 pies and they were down right disgusting. No sauce no cheese i would have made out slapping some pepperoni on some bread. Was going to get some wings but the prices went up to $1.00 a wing! Long time customer....last four experiences over the last 6 months disappointing. Not being unreasonable...I'm sympathetic and empathetic with the covid impacts. Over promising and under delivering, though, has been the norm....late delivery because "we're busy" (the answer I got when I called about the status of my order after the expected delivery time) and then having to reheat a cold meal....poor management and planning that became my problem. And I thought I was doing a good thing supporting a local business. If you don't want to be disappointed or have to heat your own meal, plan to pick it up. read more

This is the worst gyros i have had in a long time. They left the pita in the plastic bag that it came in, the meat was frozen and they slapped it on the grill, Tzotzil i sauce was made with sour cream instead of the traditional way using yogurt to cut corners. All in all, this was a miserable meal. 2 thumbs down for presentation and taste. I know where not to eat anymore. read more

Absolutely terrible ! Pizza was terrible, my dog didn't even want it. I might as well ate a garlic clove. Fries were soggy. Cheesesteak had so much grease it made the roll soggy and it was dripping out. The workers were even worse. The girl was so high on drugs that she fell asleep standing and the cook just kept saying " you're doing it again". Never again ! read more
