This was such an interesting little stop! It has almost a truck-stop vibe, attached to a gas station and full of truckers when we went, but the food was delicious. I got the Chicken Makhani with regular butter naan, and my husband got the Chicken Biryani. Both were seasoned and spiced perfectly--not hot, but with a nice little kick. The Chicken Makhani had a really yummy, rich tomato flavor. My husband really liked his biryani, but after trying mine, I think he actually liked mine a little more! The naan was incredible and probably one of my favorite parts of the meal. The biryani was a really nice, generous portion and a good choice if you're hungry. My meal came with a healthy portion of rice, and the naan serving was generous, although the actual portion of Chicken Makhani and sauce was relatively small. Our server was very nice, friendly, and respectful. They do take credit cards, but tipping was a little unusual. They preferred a cash tip, and there wasn't an option to write one onto the credit card receipt. Since we didn't have cash, they had to run the card again separately for the tip. Not a big deal, just something helpful to know beforehand. Water came in bottles instead of glasses, which we weren't expecting but wasn't a problem, and it looked like sodas were served in cans. It's definitely more of a small, casual restaurant than a fancy dining experience. We had also seen a buffet mentioned online, but there was no buffet when we visited, just the regular menu, so I'm not sure what the buffet hours are. Apple Maps also showed them open until 10, but they were turning off the open sign around 9:20, so I'd recommend coming a little earlier just in case. The food was okay, and the service was okay as well, but unfortunately it was very slow. My biggest concern was the cleanliness. As soon as we entered the parking area, there was a very strong and unpleasant smell that immediately made us question whether we should even go inside. The overall environment did not feel clean or hygienic. Having experienced some local Indian restaurants in the past we weren't too timid but this place is attached to a truck stop. The meal and service were exceptional. I had the Lamb Vindaloo with garlic naan and my two dining mates had curry (chicken and goat). We all selected medium spice level and two of us agreed we could've gone a notch spicier. I got a saag and my boyfriend the curry. Both were excellent. You get a pint of curry and a pint of rice per entree. I have yet to find Indian food this food in Phoenix. I was really impressed with the flavor profiles of both of our meals. 10/10 for Indian food but 100/10 for truck stop food.
