You cannot go wrong here. Breakfast tacos were robust and delightful, some of the best black beans I've ever tasted and a lovely fruit side salad that complemented perfectly. Cuban coffee was on point, and service was perfect.

Perfect first meal in Asheville. I love that they market this place as a great spot for people watching, it's so true! The outside chairs are mostly set up to face the park, and lucky for us, there was a festival going on so there were a ton of people around. The latte I got was wonderful, and I loved my meal. I got the open classico, which had bacon and chorizo and fried egg and cheese on the bread, a side of fries, and a side of fruit. The fries were kind of soft/limp so I didn't love them, but the rest of the meal was phenomenal. The fruit was fresh and the egg/meat/cheese was a lot of very normal things, done fantastically. Would 100% return!!

We had the best experience at brunch! Lauren was an incredible server and the food was insane! Portions are HUGE so keep that in mind. Overall a cute little spot to enjoy the beautiful fall weather and a meal. Highly recommend!

Atmosphere: Bomba is a European-inspired restaurant with a few indoor and patio seating options. We were luckily able to snag a table on the patio during Sunday brunch, but the restaurant seems to get busy quickly. Service: Bomba doesn't take reservations, but we were able to be seated pretty quickly. Similar to restaurants in Europe, they don't offer free water and the service was a bit lackluster. Food: We ordered the Americano and the Open Classico. Both of our plates were aesthetically pleasing, but didn't offer much beyond that. The Americano was decent but the buttermilk hotcake was much too dense for our liking. Their jalapeño maple syrup was unique and tasty though. The Open Classico didn't boast anything outstanding, just being some fried eggs on top of cheese and toast. Overall: For the price, service, and quality of food, Bomba did not live up to our expectations. While the aesthetics of the restaurant and our dishes were pleasant, the experience beyond that was rather unremarkable.

Café Bomba is a cute little European style cafe on a busy corner in downtown Asheville. The outdoor seating is a little cramped (but hey, so is Europe), so be prepared to tuck yourselves in between other tables/customers. After the lunch rush was the perfect time to go. We love that CB serves breakfast through the afternoon and hey, that's why the ladies chose Bamba. When you see the three cooks moving around in their small kitchen, you get the sense that you're in for a nice meal/time. We also tried the Brunch Margarita and loved it. Can you ever go wrong with grapefruit? The Cuban was unique in that it was served on toasted bread (versus a roll) and had thick meat cuts. We were skeptical, but then PLEASANTLY surprised with all the flavors and how the herb aioli (we asked for extra) complimented the meats and pickles well. Both brunchy/eggy dishes were exactly what you'd expect at an afternoon brunch place. Our main feedback would be to allow the guests to enjoy their drinks, start their meal, ask for the check, and decide when to leave. While we weren't "camping" (on our way to the airport) by any means, our server was on top of us, tried to move us along too quickly, and asked if we wanted the check 5 minutes after we received our food.

If i could give more stars i would!! This food hit home, and i mean Honduras home, it was so good! I got the Pupusa, and it had so much more than i expected!! My plate had some amazing juicy chicken, plaintain, curtido (which i typically dont like), greens salad, beans, green salsa (homemade), fruit salad, and a cheese pupusa!! I ate EVERYTHING !! And i dont eat a lot! Lol My husband got the Huevos Rancheros, and he LOVED it as well, his plate had a lot too!! Service was awesome!! The curly guy that attended us was so polite and super friendly and helpful! The place was super cute and small, but well organized! We loved everything about it! Good place to people watch too

Great horchata, macchiato, French omelet, and French toast. Big serving sizes. Servers were professional and friendly. Outdoor seating is pet friendly. Good view.

Cafe bomba is a great spot to grab brunch while you are in Asheville. Everything is made fresh and from scratch and has some unique items. They have a jalapeno syrup that has a unique and different taste that will shake up what you are normally used to. I got the blue crab migas with a latte. I got a plate full of food that left me stuffed and everything was super delicious. I got the blue crab migas which featured fried tortilla, eggs, chorizo, and crab. Prices were a little pricey but it's the area and town you are at. I felt a little crammed in the dining area but the service was great and everyone was friendly.

Brunch on another level. A fusion of Latin/French foods done so well. Don't sleep on the organic coffee and espresso - the Cubano is delicious. Sitting on the street at the cafe tables is a tiny bit like Paris. Be sure to choose something with the house made chorizo and try their smoky homemade hot sauce too. I love the Rancheros but be warned: it's a plate big enough for two people. Some of the best plantains I've ever had. Try the breakfast burrito too! The service is friendly even when it's busy. You won't be disappointed in this cafe! *ProTip: for a cultural experience, hop across the street to see the collection of fine art at the Asheville Art Museum. There's a rooftop cafe there as well with nice views of the city and the mountains.

I've passed the spot multiple times when wandering around downtown Asheville. It is incredibly central and very close to pack Square. I love it it's a small corner restaurant with plenty of character. The owner story is a delay as well. Upon arriving, I sat down in a four top, because it was the only one in the shade. Servers let me know I was not allowed to sit there unless we had at least three in the party so I chose a spot in direct sunlight, unfortunately. I wanted to enjoy the outdoors, but it was a little harsh. Luckily, I asked the server to help me with the umbrella and we were able to get it a little bit shaded. It definitely gets busy here so it's understandable didn't want to give up the big space but I wish there was a little better shade coverage at the other tables. The inside is absolutely gorgeous as is the bathroom. It's a very vintage antique style and it really works. The menu is pretty diverse but very egg heavy. I wish I hadn't had breakfast before coming here for lunch. It also feels very traditional, and the portion sizes are quite generous. The Americano I ordered was a delight. The coffee in general was delicious. Very fast and friendly service for sure. I debated about the shrimp and grits, but ultimately decided on the salmon tacos. They had a whole lot of salmon and were flavorful. The salad that it came with was a little weird to me at first, but I enjoyed it so much. It had avocado and fruit and lettuce and dressing. Somehow all of that combine to a sort of magic in your mouth. We did ask for some water, and unfortunately all they had was bottled. Not sure why but that's definitely a pet peeve of mine. I guess because it feels wasteful and Boujee? Overall, this is not a cheap experience, but I felt as though the menu was wonderful and different. Small and cozy experience, and I would certainly recommend it.

Stopped in for brunch, the place was packed. We waited for a table anyway and sat in the tented outside area. Was nice to have a little breeze outside and the coffee is on point. Lots of diverse items on the menu and a full bar. The plates were substantial and super tasty. My husband didn't look up while indulging in his steak & eggs(huevos rancheros). The servers were super busy and managed to get the food out pretty quickly focusing on their many cocktail orders. They don't leave an itemized bill or check at the end of the meal. I saw most people just pay via on their card machine at the table.

    Such a great menu.

No biggie. With that I got a tuna sub with lettuce, tomato, onion, peppers and salt and pepper. Delicious and the sandwich was HUGE. MUCH better than Subway. I have to point out; when I get a sandwich I usually get green peppers but they had mixed colors for their peppers. I made a comment of how I only get the green ones but that the mixed is fine; the guy grabs a handful and this sweet man picks out just the green peppers for my sandwich. He didn't have to do that and I was so very thankful. Huge plus for just that. Shows he actually cares and I love that! Wish I got his name. But sir, if you see this, THANK YOU!! You made my day with that small gesture. I walked around the store and stumbled upon the Snyders pretzel pieces and they were on sale 2/$5. I hadn't had those in forever so of course I bought two bags. The sour cream and caramelized onion flavor.....SO GOOD!!!!!! Will 100% go back if I'm ever in the area. I need to try more subs!
