Sadly, today the threading quality isn't the same as in the past. Several missed hairs and the shape is just 'ok'. She seemed in a hurry to be done and rushed through the threading. I've gotten brows done at this threading salon maybe 5-6 times now. My eyebrows are okay at best after they're done. the customer service is always off and they seem irritated when I ask to go thinner or if a part is missed (I'm not picky and most of the time will be fine with it). But this has got to be my worst experience there, I went to get my lashes done there and they kept changing the prices on me even when I asked and showed the woman who was working on me references so I could get an accurate amount, I end up paying the $60 and leaving and was extra careful with my lashes... the next morning I already see parts falling off (a week later it's almost gone and prom is next week) read more

Really clean and professional threading salon! I had the artist in the first chair from the left. I told her I wanted just a clean up and I like my brows full, and that's exactly what I got. She also gave me a brow massage right after $8 and you're able to add a tip using card without an additional charge. Will definitely be coming back! read more

I love this place. It's super affordable and they typically get my eyebrows on point. Today it went a little thinner than I normally like, but still super clean. This review is specifically for the lady (didn't get her name, sorry) that is stationed at the first chair by the window. She is rude, does not care about customer service, and does the job in a minute, literally. It's not fair that I have to come home and finish the job with my tweezers after I paid for the service. I even asked her if she had trimmed both eyebrows because I only felt her do one and she said she had trimmed both. I am home now and she did not trim both. It's my fault for not fully checking my eyebrows before I left but she basically rushes you off the chair. It looks like the other ladies do a better job. So beware of the one stationed by the window. read more

I was hesitant to go back considering the last time I was here the lady did a really bad job and even got some hair off my eyebrow shape so there was a gap, took my sister with me and apparently she said the lady was watching some show on their tv, she was so distracted no wonder they were so bad... BUT after about 6 months of not doing my eyebrows and this being the only place I liked (and I've tried alot in riverside) I decided to go back and my eyebrows came out great not too thin, beautiful shape I was very pleased. I do notice they are still stuck on that tv anytime you walk in they dont even greet you. Definitely should work on that but as far as service goes they're great. read more

Came in yesterday and walked out with clean brows and a pretty kitty. Although $32 isn't bad for an eyebrow threading and brazilian wax, the wax was too hot at times. I'd have to let out a groan or two because I felt like she kept going over the same areas that were already raw. $25 is a great deal, but I think I'd feel more comfortable going elsewhere and paying more for better comfort, care, and less pain! I wasn't impressed with this place at all. The lady didn't wipe/clean my brow area before she began threading them and she stopped to talk to her coworker several times during the process. She didn't even do the middle of my brows so I had to request she also do that area. My brow shape was horrible and she put a bald spot on one of them. Came here to get my eyebrows cleaned up with a friend. The process was quick and not as painful as the place I normally go to in Artesia. Also, my eyebrow stylist had managed to fix my crooked eyebrows. After she was done she even massaged my eyebrows. It may sound like a strange thing to do but it feels really good after getting hairs yanked out of your face. eyebrow place in Artesia: $4, crooked eyebrows, slow, lots of pain and the occasional cut VS Bollywood Threading Salon: $7, fixed my crooked eyebrows, quick, less pain, no cuts I think I'm sold. The pros of the Bollywood Threading Salon far outweigh the extra $3 cost. They even have a eyebrow punch card where every 4th threading you get $1 off and every 8th is free. They also do body waxing, thread other facial areas, and henna among other things. I didn't do any of that stuff but the prices looked fair so I am considering it - especially after the good experience I had. read more

I only Yelp on 2 occasions. Either I'm very happy, or pissed the hell off. This is one of those pissed the hell off moments. I made the mistake of trying out a new salon, because my regular one is over 20 miles out. BIG mistake. I've had my eyebrows threaded monthly for over a year, so I know the process. I'm all about quick and painless, but not quick, painful, and an overall bad job. My shape is simple, just a clean and trim. Instead, I got a good piece of my eyebrow thinned out so much, I swear that it's missing. Then I asked for it to be trimmed, and only the THIN portion was touched. I pay, then leave, get to my car and look in the mirror, only to see stray hairs STILL there. I gave the place 2 stars because I came right back in requesting my brows to be fixed with a different person. I believe it was Chandra(?) who helped me the second time around. She ended up having to go through the entire thing. She also had to trim the half that wasn't touched. They do look a whole lot better, and she was apologetic about the situation. I wish I just waited to see her from the start. Next time, I'll go with what I know, and not trust anyone new with my brows. Don't think I will ever be back here. read more

I have been getting my eyebrows threaded for 13 years and this place has been the best by leaps and bounds. It is the only place in the area that is open at 9 am. Eyebrow threading is only $7. The lady threading this morning was Nita and she did a great job. She kept making sure that I was pleased and when the threading was done, she rubbed aloe vera over the area to soothe the redness. This review goes out to Chanda, Mary and the lovely lady at the front desk. Those three are the sweetest! I'm only making my review five stars for them! Every time I have come here and gotten my brows and upper lip done by someone other than Chanda or Mary I would either be left with a bunch of hairs still not threaded, or someone who completely ruined my brow shape. Chanda's work is so flawless. My brows were never the same shape and they have lots of bald patches and yet somehow she manages to make them look soooo even! And when Mary does my mother's brows, her work is so clean: my mother doesn't have to go back home and pluck out a bunch of stray hairs. Thank you Chanda and Mary! CHANDA is hands down the best at threading. I literally trust every single time I go, my brows will be perfectly done. Their busiest times, of course, are Friday-Sunday. I made the mistake of going in on a Friday and everyone was waiting in Chanda, so I blindly, opted to go to a new person.... She chopped my eyebrows. I wanted to cry. I waited about 3 weeks for them to grow back in and Chanda fixed them back to perfection. I can not express enough how great she is. I would pay far more than $7 for her threading! read more

I've been coming here for over a year now and I always loved how Monica did my threading and waxing. I've gone in a few times and asked about her but every time I asked, they told me she was on vacation. I recently found out that she no longer works here. She did such a great job everytimr I came in. I tried getting my eyebrows and the waxing done by someone else here but it wasn't the same.
