I rarely leave negative reviews, but my recent experience at this coffee shop was deeply troubling. My brother has Down syndrome and was employed there. Recently he was treated unfairly and dismissively simply because he didn't fully understand or use the "woke" language they seemed to expect. He was forced to quit by the company because he wouldn't call people partners instead of friends. Instead of showing patience, kindness, and respect--which should be the bare minimum in any service business--the staff singled him out, embarrassed him, and ultimately made him feel unwelcome. Watching someone with a disability be discriminated against in this way was heartbreaking and completely unacceptable. Coffee shops are supposed to be warm, inclusive spaces where people feel comfortable. What happened here was the opposite. Regardless of personal views or buzzwords, every person deserves dignity, especially someone who may struggle to navigate complicated social expectations. Until management takes accountability and trains their employees in genuine inclusivity, compassion, and disability awareness, I cannot recommend this place. There are many other cafés that manage to serve great coffee and treat all customers with basic humanity. read more

Such a hidden gem. I was so hesitant to try them out and I am thankful I gave it a shot. I have to say that the way the owner of the shop responded to my attached message is what got me in the door. We were so happy with the ambiance, food and drinks. The metal throughout the cafe is an added bonus. So stunning. There is also a drive thru and typically you can feel the stress of it as a customer inside but the employees were able to manage both sides seamlessly. read more

Cute local coffee shop that I frequent often for a to go drink. It is in the back corner of a strip of shops off Promenade Blvd in Rogers. They have a drink through and chairs and tables inside and outside. Nice, clean bathrooms too. I like their bakery bites and they matcha drinks the best. Proces are average but they have an app and rewards program along with discounts. Staff is nice and helpful. Worth stopping at if you want a quick drink or place to sit and chat. read more

I discovered this shop because Stone mill bakery uses their coffee and it's excellent. However, my first experience at this location was disappointing by the rude service. No friendly greeting or gratitude was shown. I only received a complaint on how swiftly I was there after I had placed the order on my phone. I didn't realize when I placed the order that it said it would take 15 minutes. However, no one was in the drive-thru and the parking lot was sparse. I've literally placed an order at other shops while waiting in the drive-thru and never received a complaint before. Great coffee, though! read more

Unfortunately, I love the coffee. That's where it ends however. The customer service and the manager of the two stores ruined me forever on Boulder Coffee. I used to frequent both Fayetteville and Rogers as did my husband. But the manager after getting an order wrong said and I quote "it's a $2 bagel, it's not that deep". Well that's true but you got it wrong and it's my $2 so I'd like what I ordered. And I order $8 worth of coffee daily. And it's not the first time the order was wrong. I have free coffees sitting in my rewards account that will never be used. Tried to contact the owner and he had the nerve to have the same manager make the return call. I am in sales too and if I dismissed my clients the way she dismisses hers I would have no clients. Sorry boulder but you lost me, my husband, my friend and several other people I've told this story to as customers. read more

First time trying this place and the coffee was mid at best. I ordered a pumpkin spice latte that looked like milk with a splash of espresso it was watery and lacking pumpkin flavor. Service was flat with just a "what can I get you?" instead of a proper greeting. I stayed to work but the freezing A/C made it uncomfortable. Between the weak coffee, poor service, and cold atmosphere, Bolder needs to do better. read more

I was chatting with another coffee-enthusiast from the area and asked him what his favorite coffee place is. His answer was Bolder Coffee. Of course I had to give it a try... I'd give the coffee itself 4 stars. It was a great drip with nice floral notes. Their menu had a lot of other intriguing drinks on it but I was there for the coffee. I also wanted a bite for breakfast but was disappointed in the selections. I was hoping for some sort of egg sandwich or even an oatmeal. All they really had were pastries. I ended up with a strawberry Spanish Strudel that was very little strawberry and way more bread. Maybe that's how they're supposed to be ‍ The place was clean but the decor and setting just was not conducive to sitting down and enjoying the experience. Let's just say it wasn't very "coffee shop-ish". I think I would go through the drive-thru if I needed a cup of coffee but would t go out of my way to stop here. read more

Excellent little coffee place. Humble, amazing menu, a satisfactory bakery selection. The building itself is a little small, but there's adequate seating across the interior. The place is dimly lit, not terribly bright, but very cozy. There is free wifi. The menu is very large and expansive, with several different coffee options. I also appreciate their large variety of tea lattes-- it's rarer that I see coffee shops have substantive tea offerings. They seem to source from Savoy Tea Co. I got an Hola latte (honey and lavender) and a powdered sugar muffin-- bot being extra delicious. The lavender notes in the Hola latte are very present, although moderately pronounced (which is a good thing). The powdered sugar muffin is buttery and sweet-- there's not a specific flavor, but it serves well as a plain pastry. Overall, this place is great. Will totally come back. read more

This is my favorite coffee shop in the NWA area by far. Most people say onyx is the best, but I think Bolder is a hidden gem. They have a great variety of drinks and I haven't had a bad drink there. My personal favorites are the matcha, cinnamon toast latte, best vanilla latte, and any of their iced teas. This place is far less pretentious than some of the other coffee shops in the area. I've been coming to Bolder for any occasion for years. Whether it be a coffee date or studying, Bolder is the perfect place. The ambiance is great and so is the staff. They are always willing to have a good conversation. Go here for a good cup of coffee and a good time! read more

Ok so this looked like it was going to be milky and lacking syrups but I have to say I was blown away. The coffee was just right! Not too bitter but not overly flowery and they had just the right amount of syrups to make it sweet any enjoyable. Wife even was glad as she was worried she was going to need another shot. Service was great and quick and we nabbed the spicy kolache and a croissant sandwich and they were pretty tasty. We hit the drive through and we're on our way. Will have to stop by again when in town. read more

The coffee was incredibly acidic and I didn't love it. The store itself is somewhere I think most people Would want to spend their free time with friends. It's beautiful and the staff are amazing. I'll give it another try next time I'm in town, but likely order something other than a drip coffee. read more

I asked what was going on because the last two that I had did not taste right. It tastes very weak and watered down. I am begging them to please change back to what they have ALWAYS used!! I had the buttered pumpkin coldbrew for my first time in here, and it was phenomenal. Unlike the pumpkin coldbrews at other coffee shops, this one tastes lighter but with a more distinct taste. I enjoyed it more than any other pumpkin coldbrew I've had, yet, this pumpkin season! It has pumpkin spice, butterscotch, cream, and cinnamon in it, all of which help make it stand out for a pumpkin coldbrew. My second time to this place, I ordered the bonfire bliss tea latte, which has cinnamon, orange, vanilla, and lavender. I was unfortunately let down, as the spice and mix of flavors was too much. I think the orange and Cinnabon were too overpowering for the softer vanilla and lavender. Its certainly unique, which I appreciate-- but its also an odd blend of flavors, and perhaps too much. I think I would've liked it if there was less cinnamon and orange. However, the staff was great, the location and atmosphere were also great, and there is a drive-thru. For all of these things and the great seasonal menu choices plus the vast main menu, 5 stars! read more

So great!! The milk was steamed well, the espresso had a nice flavor, and while I usually don't get syrups, their honey lavender was really great and not overwhelming at all! Super easy to hang out and work, the music isn't too loud or distracting and there's a lot of seating. It would be really fun if they put their coffee/lattes for here in one of their really fun mugs! This local coffee shop business is my favorite hands down. Not only does the one in Fayetteville have some beautiful women working there. But the one in Roger's has a great set of guys. Fletch and Billy are super funny and easy to talk too. They know how to handle a crowd of people. I rolled in about 5:45ish and they were getting slammed. But, made sure to work together and get it all done in a great time with no complaints from others customers for messed up drinks which is a talent. Also, they still made time in between to ask everyone how their day was. Most places you just find people dead inside when they get slammed like they were but not there they were a laughing and smiling. If the rest of the crew is like them then Bolder has a killer team!
