Perfect coffee, perfect vibes. The food is good too. I have had the brown butter latte and the salt mocha, and both are phenomenal. This trip I also got the breakfast burrito that was good too. This is a must try in Bentonville.
I'm not a coffee drinker but was highly recommended so we stopped. Needless to say my wife was excited because they grind their own coffee and it's truly made fresh. I got an affogato which was delicious.
Beautiful space and welcomed by beautiful people. So many choices, and unique at that. The kind cashier helped me narrow down my options and guided my husband through espresso choices...clearly knowledgeable. We loved our coffees, highly recommend.
Onyx Coffee Lab is a solid local roaster with great coffee and pastries in a welcoming atmosphere. The shop has a comfortable layout with a mix of seating options-- intimate tables for conversations, space for small group gatherings, and outdoor seating for those nice days when you want to enjoy your coffee outside. One thing I always appreciate is when a barista takes the time to do latte art--even when they know it's going straight under a to-go lid. It's a small touch, but it says a lot about the care they put into their craft.
This is the coolest coffee shop I've ever been to. It is such a well oil machine. I can't even explain it to you. When I got in line, the line was out the door and I was only in line for about 25 minutes. The coffee was delicious and the food was delicious too. It's clear to see why they are up for a James Beard award. This is a must stop if you are in Bentonville.
Ordered their seasonal cortado and vegan breakfast pastry and I was very happy with both. The cortado was smooth and the bacon balanced the sweetness. The pastry was savory and soft. My partner's breakfast burger was also delicious. Very busy Saturday morning but a great place to meet up with friends and work (when it's less crowded).
I'll never forget the first time I walked into Onyx coffee lab. I felt like I was walking into a Chem lab. It gave the impression that this place really took coffee seriously. It might've been 2019 to the best of my recollection and since that first time Bentonville has grown explosively but Onyx remains and appears to be as successful as ever. Today we had just a house coffee which I know is boring but it was good. We also ordered an almond croissant and a coconut mango croissant. The almond croissant had a generous amount of almond paste filling where the coconut mango was generous with the coconut on the outside but pretty sparse with the mango on the inside. But the basic croissant itself was very good. If you like to people watch this is a great place because there's a very long stretch of sidewalk facing windows with seating. There's a variety of other seating available as well at tables and long comfy sofa seating.
Onyx is the best coffee in town. This location specifically is my favorite one. All the drinks always come out tasty, high quality ingredients. The macaroons are very good. I'm not the biggest fan of their croissants, doesn't take away from how aesthetic they are. Pretty busy location but the baristas crank the drinks out pretty quickly. On the weekends or when there's a local even the line can get wrapped outside the door!
Great vibes, good music playing in this beautiful coffee shop. Work, play, eat. Plenty of seating throughout the interior and outside patio. If you're a coffee connoisseur, this place will have a flavor for every taste. If you want some bites, pastries and savory snacks are available. The service was great and very friendly. They're doing it right here.

The beans are incredible, and honestly I'm not sure there's a better coffee bean out there. Every drink we've tried has been excellent. The staff are friendly and clearly know their craft, and the space has a great vibe. If there's a line, wait--it moves quickly and it's absolutely worth it.
This is a very cool coffee shop in downtown Bentonville. The vibes are upscale and so is the drink menu. Lots of options for every palate and some seasonal rotations as well. I had a FOMO and my wife had an Onyx Delight. The FOMO was quite the surprise having some amazing flavor infused cold foam on top. It was delicious! The bottom half was a bit less desirable. I am not sure what all went into the actual espresso portion but it seems like a watered down Americano with an off putting after taste. My wife enjoyed the Onyx Delight over all. I will make another trip here to try something a bit more basic but it was great to try something a bit different. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Would recommend to give this place a try.

What a great coffee shop! It had a great ambiance to it. The inside was very clean which was nice. The bathrooms were clean too. The service here was great. The employee taking our order was very helpful. The coffee here was amazing! I really enjoyed my drink that I got. Overall, great coffee shop and I highly recommend it. read more

I got the matcha drink and it was fantastic this is my first time here and the service was amazing I got this really sweet lady and the scenery was so calming and I just felt taken care of. I really dislike matcha but this was such an amazing drink and I will most definitely be ordering matcha at this location only. read more
Stellar coffee in a beautiful shop! So good we went twice in one day when visiting Bentonville. My espresso tonic was absolutely divine, and my latte later in the day was one the best I've had. It's on the pricier side but you are paying for some of the highest quality coffee around! read more
I had a chai, quiche (on a previous spring or summer menu), and macarons. Everything was tasty and to my liking. I'm picky about chai, and it was good, not a disappointment as many coffee shop chai drinks are. Lovely to visit on a farmers market morning as it is in 2-3 minutes walking distance from it. The decor is modern and industrial with dark geometric tiles and warm wood panels on the walls, and a partially exposed ceiling. In contrast, the service area has inviting bright white tiles that let you know just where to go to order. Patterned floating wood planks hover over the service area and fold around to the wall beside it. It is visually interesting and captivating! The front wall is line of windows that let in a lot of bright light with a bar lining the windows on one end and different seating arrangements on the other end. Man oh man! What a lovely coffee shop in Bentonville, AR! I greatly enjoyed an Onyx Delight- one of their signature popular drinks. There is also food available. It all looked delicious but I did not buy anything. The employees were super nice! The decor is beautiful. Lounges on the inside for individuals or groups. Small amount of seating outside. I understand Onyx coffee is world-renowned. Something like #2 in the world! If ever in Bentonville, check them out! read more

Was visiting the area from CA on vacation and was ASTONISHED at the architecture and design of this building place! It seriously deserves to be in architectural digest. Overall I liked the selection of coffees and pastries but unfortunately did find the espresso a little weak....I got a flat white and even then it had a milky taste - not the strongest pull. Service was professional, there was a long line (15 min?) wrapping all around the bar but it gave me time to admire all the little interior design wonders. As a certified coffee snob this was a haven from big chain drive drive throughs and in such a cute little area of town! read more

All style & no substance. This place was packed on Halloween, most staff dressed up, always that one employee who refuses to participate & this location was no exception. I ordered a flat white to go, tipped $1 and I was given a look like, is that all?!?! So $6.40 I paid & stepped aside waiting for my coffee. Not much seating for waiting, every table & bench was full with single people with a laptop, hardly anyone seemed to have a coffee on the table just free ice water. Place seemed a little toasty and warm. Only waited a few minutes, put lid on and headed out, started drinking on walk to my car and it was lukewarm and very weak, maybe that's how they do coffee in Arkansas? read more

I initially had a really positive impression of Onyx after having their seasonal nitro cold brew tonic with orange and fig--one of my favorite coffee drinks I have ever had. The friendly baristas and the cute interior definitely contributed to that first experience, too. After slowly but surely making my way through its menu, I found there to be more misses than hits. There are some delicious and thoughtfully developed specialty drinks, like the tiramisu fomo and black salt mocha, but they only contain a whisper of coffee if you are someone who wants to actually taste it. I've chosen to add another shot of espresso at times and have had my drink come out to around $10, including tax and tip, which is pretty steep. Outside of coffee offerings, the matcha is pretty milky and watery (I'm not sure what I was expecting), and the gochugaru chai, although having a fun spicy finish, is still diluted. The downtown Bentonville location also offers some breakfast/brunch options (pastry case and hot sandwiches/bowls). I've tried their ham and cheese croissant (decent when heated up) and their breakfast sandwich (I think we were given the wrong item that day, because what we received had slaw and kalbi/bulgogi), which were both decent, but nothing I would order again. Overall, I've found Airship to be a winner in terms of affordability, great beans, and sufficiently caffeinating me. I wouldn't go as far as to say that Onyx is "all style no substance"--maybe I am just ordering the wrong drinks, and I should try some more standard coffees. But, for the person who has graduated from Starbucks but likes a froofy, dessert-y coffee drink, Onyx is definitely for you. read more
This place was super busy and all that seemed justified. Everything on the menu looked and sounded really good. I saw other people with breakfast sandwiches that looked amazing, but I didn't see those until after I ordered. I can only speak to the coffee. Since it was still kind of warm outside I asked for an iced black coffee. The guy taking my order recommended a nitro iced black coffee, so I went with that. It was a great rec because I really enjoyed that coffee. We sat outside in front. It was a great spot to enjoy the early fall weather. I definitely plan to come back on my next visit to Bentonville. read more

I visited Onyx in downtown on a Saturday during the farmers market. It was very busy. The service was fast and the baristas were very kind. I ordered the Onyx Delight iced. It was sweet but I could still taste the espresso shine through. Pro tip: request that they use Monarch espresso instead of their normal Geometry espresso for any latte! read more

Came here on a Thurs morning to fuel up for a day of mountain biking. their avocado toast was delicious as were their chocolate croissants. the house coffee was great too. i really enjoyed sitting outside and seeing all the people on a Thursday enjoying this coffee shop. we had a great experience from ordering to getting our food. highly recommend. read more

first timers here! my husband and i genuinely enjoyed the coffee here and can agree it's one of the best we've had in NWA. the hail fellow well met latte was very yummy. the browned butter flavor is strong and we thought it was the perfect sweetness. the blueberry basil matcha was also very good, creamy and a good balance of all the flavors! inside the building was very clean, and thankfully wasn't too busy when we stopped by. the staff were quick with our orders but weren't super welcoming :( overall would recommend this place if you're looking for good quality coffee and a cute place to wind down! read more
I heard about this place before even coming to Bentonville so I made it a point to stop in while we were in town. The coffee was good and lattes were perfect. I had the onyx delight and my friend had the salt mocha. I liked both. The inside is very posh and upscale decor but it still had the cozy coffee house vibes. The staff were friendly and efficient. The line wrapped around the bar but everyone got their coffee shortly after ordering. Plenty of seating inside and outside on the sidewalk. We enjoyed watching all the dogs on the patio. I recommend stopping in to Onyx when you're in Arkansas. read more
