They were very slow and getting customers through the line, and while they weren't rude they certainly weren't cheerful and friendly either. That's on top of all the other sales tax added on. After all that they didn't even give me what I ordered. Without asking me, or even clarifying, they gave me a flat white instead of a cappuccino. The drink wasn't even any good. I don't know why people would come to this coffee shop.

I asked for a recommendation on which one to get iced and went with their suggestion of the Candy Cane Forest! I was nervous the peppermint would be too overpowering but it was subtle, allowing you to notice the other flavors of pine and white chocolate. This location has an outdoor patio plus a walk-up window where you can order coffee togo without coming inside. Ohhhh I felt like we hit the coffee jackpot! The place was adorable! I loved the cell decor, the love plants, the cool vibes of the place and I knew I was going to get great coffee. There is a certain truth in the water at the Pump House on A Street. Tucked away in Bentonville,…read morethis sanctuary feels removed from the clamor, a quiet refuge where you are entirely out of town yet perfectly in it. Airship is the undisputed original architect of the third wave coffee movement here, fiercely rooted in Bentonville and untethered from Fayetteville. It is a space steeped in the deep, untamed well of Northwest Arkansas history. Like a good Hemingway sentence, this place is stripped of all unnecessary noise, leaving only what is true and essential. I am a coffee traveler, wandering the globe seeking the perfect cup, and I say with absolute conviction that this location belongs in my global top ten. The pour overs here are a revelation, unmasked by pretense and meant to be savored black. It is a far superior experience to the polished, urban spectacle of Onyx. Airship delivers a profoundly better cup at a more affordable price, remaining firmly grounded in the down-to-earth soul of the craft. It is quality without the theater, a genuinely superior communion between water and bean in every conceivable way. The people breathing life into this operation are the true keepers of the flame. The staff possesses staggering knowledge of their trade, yet they carry it with the kind, friendly, unassuming grace of old friends. They are professional but wonderfully unpretentious, serving perfection with a rebellious, poetic warmth reminiscent of Patti Smith. They do not preach to you about the roast; they simply offer their craft as a gift, recognizing a fellow seeker across the counter. In a world rapidly losing its anchor to authenticity, Airship at the Pump House is damn near perfection. Mark Twain once wrote that you cannot depend on your eyes when your imagination is out of focus, but here, the vision of what coffee should be is crystal clear. It is a rare haven for purists who know the finest things are the least adorned. You will not find a more honest cup of coffee anywhere, making it an absolute triumph of substance that I will return to as long as the rivers run.
