Bolay is a great option for a meal on the go/fast food. For me bolay has an equal amount of pros and cons. First and foremost, they have a sink, to wash your hands, right as you enter! Such an amazing beautiful thing! More restaurants need this and more people need to utilize this! Another major pro is their expertise in seasoning, finally got my daughter to enjoy chicken/eat meat in general (this was many years ago). They seem to have options for everyone, from vegetarian, pescatarian, vegan, and obviously the celiac/gluten free humans. However, I did inquire years ago about gmo, and still have not heard back. On this recent visit the young man behind the counter wasn't rude, but surely was a straight to the point kind of dude, by the end of the selection line I decided I didn't want any of my 3 toppings (allotted for my bowl size), but I did want 2 sauces. He said they would charge me extra for the extra sauce. I understand there are rules and these employees are told to follow them, but come on. Also, seriously, charging extra for sauce in general, tacky. Thankfully the sweet girl at the register understood my annoyance and my mental math and said "wait you didn't get any toppings, I can do the extra sauce for you." Boom, simple common sense. Paying almost $50 for a quick meal for a family of 3, during errands does deter me, but again it is one of the better options out there. I am curious for my husband's sake why they either never or rarely have the mushrooms or brussels anymore. But per usual we all enjoyed our bowls, and when in need of a meal on the go we will be back.

I love a good bowl in general, but often times they can be heavy and not the healthiest options. Today I stumbled upon Bolay, recommended by my sister and I think I found a new gem. The food is extremely fresh, as if they cut the parsley straight from a garden, and the seasonings aren't too intense. The sauce was unexpectedly light, which will help if you're eating this for lunch and don't want to get sleepy lol. The service was impeccably nice and the process of ordering and learning about what they offer Honorable mention goes to the cookie that's packaged but still soft !

The guy there hooked me up!!! He loaded my bowl and was very kind. It wasn't busy and seemed pretty clean.

Under cooked potatoes and grimy chicken

If I can give this a negative 10 i would! This location sucks. Sweet potatoes were literally under cooked!! So hard and nasty. Our chicken had a slimy taste to it. We literally couldn't even enjoy our bowls at all. This is so upsetting, I'm currently pregnant and have been craving this for a while. Literally a waste of 30$. I called multiple times last night to get this issues resolved and no one answered. I will not be returning.

I can't even! This place always has the freshest food and it is extremely tasty. I love that I can get a healthy meal at a fair/solid price point and not feel sick after eating. I've primarily stuck with steak or ahi. I love adding the kale. It has such a good flavor! Also, many options for people with dietary restrictions--like my mom. Gluten free, keto, you name it and they have it. Do yourself a favor and go to any of their locations!

This Bolay location has an incredible team, led by Peter. It is amazing how such a large, healthy meal can be less than $10. The quality of the food is top-notch every time.

My first Bolay experience was a success! For months I've heard others rave about Bolay's food, but I've never tried it myself. Now that I have tried it, I am prepared to recommend it to anyone and everyone who visits South Florida! This health-conscious chain allows you to build your own bowl (or Bol as they call it) with veggies, healthy grains, proteins and more! Each of the items on the menu are created with unique and tasty sauces and methods of preparation; rather than a typical and plain noodle base, try out the rice noodles with a cilantro sauce or their Asian sweet potato noodles. I build a small Bol utilizing their kale yeah salad as my base. I added on ginger broccoli, roasted brussel sprouts and teriyaki chicken. Not only did the flavor combos work beautifully together, but the portion size was generous and seemed extremely reasonable for the price I paid. I could continue to rave about the food, but what made the experience for me was the incredible staff. Ansley and Jojo were working the line and are truly two exceptional team members. Knowing it was my first visit, they took the time to explain how it all worked to me. From the difference in the Bol sizes to the different base/veggie/protein/sauce options I had, their patience and level of knowledge was honestly refreshing. Both ladies even offered some suggestions on their favorite items, in addition to adding a couple samples for me to try in my Bol. This level of customer service should not go unrecognized, so thank you Ansley and Jojo for creating an incredible atmosphere and welcoming experience for me and all your customers. The level of freshness and simplicity to the menu items is truly something to write home about, but I just really wish there was a way to access the nutritional information. The Bolay website does have a list with the big eight allergens and which dishes may continue what, however as an individual who looks at macros, having a base idea of nutrition breakdown would make it a lot easier for me to visit the restaurants more frequently. With 16 locations throughout the sunshine state (and 1 new one on the way), i'm excited to see where this brand expands to next.

Nice, Clean and Accessable.

This is my first time at Bolay, and I enjoyed the experience. When I arrived, there was no line, but that changed quickly. I like the fact that there were at least 4 people behind the counter preparing food, I didn't wait long for my order. The people behind the counter were actually really nice to me and smiled a lot. Maybe they like working there? Or maybe I am just that cute that they couldn't resist :-) I was provided with a free taste of the kale salad which was delicious. I chose that as my "base" (you can choose 2 different types of rice as your base) and then added 2 veggies: cauliflower and brussel sprouts. The cauliflower had a great flavor but was mushy, the texture as not good. The brussel sprouts were a bit undercooked and not much flavor. I like brussel sprouts so it was kinda ok but really... it was a bit of a letdown. Then I opted for the optional ($2 extra) shrimp. It was worth it. They were yummy and there were enough in the portion to feel satisfied. The cashier gave me a cup for fountain water which is all I wanted, and I found a table. This is a self-serve restaurant. It's nice inside, simple, clean and easy to find a comfortable place to sit. I sat for a bit, wishing I had tried the chicken because it looked interesting. I decided to go back and get a take-out meal for my lunch tomorrow, which I did. I never do this, so I must have been impressed enough to want to. The prices are reasonable for self-service dining, the interior is pleasant enough to enjoy sitting for a while and the food was good. Not amazing, but good enough to know I will be back.

My noodles were no where in sight
Stashi S.

I waited 15 minutes for my curbside pick up I got tired of waiting so I went inside I was told that they ran out of chicken so it took a while to cook That is fine with me but you need to inform your customer I was told the money will be refunded but still haven't seen it Finally got home and hungry and to my pleasant surprise my meal was missing my cilantro noodles. Very disappointed

12:30om, 3/18/2026…read more Ambience = Steady, lunch crowd in the bar. Yet not phonetic or chaotic. Good, chill vibe. 4-5 high top tables for two. At the bar- nice personal space and hooks for purses. Nice place to perch my feet and store my obnoxiously long golf umbrella. Perfect atmosphere for a chilly, rain date lunch with spouse. Balance of business professionals, "ladies who lunch", and a few couples. The bar reminds me a of nicer Las Vegas resort hotel bar. One TV showing Golf TV. Food = We've eaten at J.Alex since their soft open moons ago. The dishes are always consistent quality. Today hub's was jonesing for a French dip. I was craving their Nashville hot fried chicken sandwich. We both order their shoestring fries. We're slowly enjoyed each other's company and our lunches. We immensely enjoyed our meals. Service = Good. Our bartender didn't offer his name, and we weren't on our game to ask his name. However, he did a good job. He quickly came over and put down black napkin placemats with napkin rolled utensils and offered water while we skimmed the menu. Beverages were served quick. Food order quick and complete. We never had to ask for extra sides as he brought them all out with the meals- ketchups (If you like an abundant serving, ask when you place your order. They use small 2 oz stainless steel ramekins.), horseradish sauce, a side of blue cheese (to dip my fries in ), and my Nashville hot sauce on the side. Check came quick too. We ask and learned that they do not offer a Happy Hour. However, they offer very large pour martinis with a side car waiting for you for the price of one. He said late afternoons they have very happy and loyal regulars! We've been dining at "J.A." since their soft open many moons ago. They have always offered well trained staff. We've been here as parties of two, parties of up to 8, and as times with infants, to toddlers, to elementary school age peeps to seniors who many need a little extra consideration with seating. J.Alexander's has always offered great service. However, for some with low vision may find the back of the restaurant a little dark. Bathrooms are clean. There is an outside, screened over bar area as well. My extra bullet points: Value = Yes! High quality, consistent food, great staff and fair price for the experience. The BIG question: Will we return? Yes! We are every other month "regulars". During COVID, they were able to pivot their business to keeping their doors up keeping people employed and offered service to the community. HIGH GIVE! We'll be back. Cheers! Tip: Be sure to make reservations especially during holiday weekends, PGA golf classic weekends and "Season" for tables. If they're booked, Bonefill Grill is directly next door as "back up". Get there early for parking as the lot fills up fast for dinner with several restaurants sharing the same lot. Perfectly located between 95 and TPK, for family dinners if coming from PSl or South county or Broward.

It's low-key tucked away in Palm Beach Gardens, but once you're in, it's giving "why don't more people know about this?" energy. Now let's get into brunch--because this place understands the assignment. The shrimp and grits? Elite. Bold, rich, perfectly balanced. The kind of dish that makes you pause mid-bite and rethink your life choices--mainly why you haven't been eating this more often. The shakshouka is flavorful, comforting, and executed cleanly. And the waffles... listen--these waffles are not here to play. Crispy, fluffy, and dangerously easy to finish. Order them knowing full well you're not sharing. The menu truly lives up to the idea of "a taste of everything." There's so much to choose from that decision paralysis is real--but in a fun way. No bad options, just tough choices. The vibe is on point. Modern, warm, stylish without being loud about it. The kind of place that feels just as right for brunch as it does for a relaxed dinner. The staff is consistently friendly, attentive, and actually happy to be there--no bad attitudes, no weird energy. The manager is hands-on, professional, and clearly runs a tight (but chill) ship. Is it a little tucked away? Yes. Is it worth finding? Absolutely. Consider it a hidden gem with main-character energy. Bottom line: Great food. Strong brunch game. Beautiful space. Solid service. For me, it's five stars every single time--no overthinking, no debate. If you know, you know. And if you don't... now you do. More pics to follow...

Once I tried bith the sweet and hot peppers, I decided to add the sweet peppers to my sandwich. They were a great add! The hot peppers were tasty but they were too hot for me. I'm glad I didnt add them. My fiancé's Reuben was PERFECT! Delicious bread, plentiful corned beef, and just the right amount of Thosand Island dressing. I'm excited about this one. if you're gonna go there for 1 meal, get the MEXICAN STREET CORN and the CHICKEN AND WAFFLES. We always get the corn and our server even gave us little wet naps to clean up with (clutch). And I absolutely love their CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES - three warm large chocolate chip cookies and a glass of milk which was only maybe $10? Crazy - I've also heard happy hour is amazing but I work and can never get there. This time I got the SEAFOOD SAUTEE and it was one of the best seafood dishes I had. Looking back, I'd recommend asking to replace the potatoes with shrimp if you can. They were so good. Our server Natalia was great and said the shrimp is from Argentina.. My wife had the PORK COLLAR - I thought it was good but I didn't think it was as good as my seafood. Our daughter had the burger - really solid and she couldn't finish it. Bonus for Dad. The last thing I would say is that this place isn't gonna be for everyone because it's noisy - probably because the bartenders serve great drinks! There was one woman at the bar that was laughing incredibly loud (uggg) but the staff couldn't have done anything about that. If you want to go there and have a really quiet sort of like laid back meal or you get triggered easily or something - SIT OUTSIDE. Otherwise, you're gonna hear music, people talking, laughing, and having fun. That also makes it great for families - we had a couple of kids sitting right beside us.
