Complete waste of time because ultimately requested refund of entire order and they got a chance to keep the whole order they messed up. Alright, I get it. 4 stars for fast food? Let me tell you...this was my very first time at a Bojangles and you know what? I had a great experience. The staff were super quick getting the food out, I didn't wait longer than 5 minutes from start to finish. The food was hot and sooo good. There wasn't one thing I didn't like from my order. The chicken was juicy and seasoned right, the biscuit was soft and warm, sides of Mac and cheese, beans, and dirty rice were amazing, and the sweet tea? It was perfect! When I got to the window though, I was told my card had declined so I checked my bank account to see if I'd been charged and sure enough I had been. After 5 minutes of arguing with the employees to at least get my card back so I could leave I got my card back and was handed my order saying that they'd "made my meal free" and that next time I "needed to make sure I had enough money to pay for my meal." That is exactly what I was told by the employees and I have a charge on my account so my meal was not free and I was insulted needlessly by the employees. read more

Wow, what a mess....so many things missing and/or wrong. To their credit, it was all made right but not after spending 15 minutes going through our entire bag. I just want to start out by saying that I go to this location often but my experience today was by far my worst experience at this location. Today I ordered online and when I go to pick up my order I get to the register and I let the woman taking orders know that I have an online order for my name or my fiancees name mind you its the only online order behind the counter at this particular moment this woman turns around barely looks at the ticket and tells me that its not mine and whenever the order comes in under my fiancees name she normally tells me its not mine which is fine I guess I understand where she's coming from but when I recall the entire order word for word including optional requests don't look at the ticket and then tell me that she needs my ticket from my phone its always the same ordeal every time my fiancees name is on the order it happens often enough that I expect it when I order online so I come in and tell them both of our names every-time anyhow a second woman comes over to help and same ordeal she asked if I'm at the right place I read off the location of my order its 1209 Laura Village she then ask me if I order from that location often which I do on a regular basis (I live right down the road) I tell her yes she then tells me that I ordered from the wrong location I show her my phone and she looks at it and then tells me that its the right location but they don't have my order so she asks what I need and I tell her and she starts making my order but she only makes a portion of it and gives it to me and the energy at this point feels like they just want me off the line which I understand I work in the food industry also. And so I wait and the manager comes over and tells me that I never payed for my order I show hime my bank account and show him the transaction he tells me to place the order again and I tell him that I don't want to pay for my order twice he tells me that I can get refunded and then he asked about the order and I give him the same information that I've given the other two people and he walks over to look at the only online order behind the register and within two seconds I have my order I feel that if a little more effort was put into my order and less into getting me out of the restaurant then all of the stress put on everyone involved could have been avoided Im not mad about the situation and I will still be coming to this location but it happens often enough that I feel I need to bring it to light it was somehow still my fault in the end because "I told them the wrong name" but I don't care about that anymore but the food is worth it read more

I'm not a Bojangles fan. Usually I prefer Popeyes and I will drive 25 minutes to get it. Came to this Bojangles and I was pleasantly surprised. It could be just as good or a little better than Popeyes. The biscuit was way better than Popeyes old stale one. The coleslaw actually tasted something resembling like a real coleslaw, so good. First off, I like most of Bo's food. Not all, but most. But I gotta say, this unit is pathetic. I have been eating here for 18 years, and disappointed by the service 87% of the time, and disappointed in the food quality probably 75%. I think the problem with this store is a distant franchise owner, or one who does not care. This trickles down to the store manager, then trickles down through the staff. My problem is with the drive through service. The restaurant does not have an internal product "flow process " that prepares food items efficiently. So for 20 years, if I pull into this unit and order a sausage and cheese biscuit, I know to be prepared to wait for 22 minuets. Any time between 7:45 and 9:45 am , your ass is going to be sitting in the drive through. Every day of the week, occasionally worse. Bottom line: it is a biscuit. Cook it, package it, cheerfully collect payment, and pass product to customer. And when I thank you, NEVER say "no problem "; I never asked you if you had a problem. Just cheerfully day "My Pleasure ". It ain't that hard, management. Get your head out of your ass and play the game. Great food but the staff is horrible. Last time I went in I was with my family and they confused our orders and gave me a kids supreme meal instead of a 4 piece supreme dinner. Which wasn't a big deal until the manager of the store tried to tell me I was wrong despite me showing him the receipt which clearly showed that I ordered a 4 piece supreme dinner. My girlfriend loved this place when she lived outside the NJ area. She talked about it a couple of times and thought nothing of it. Since I am in NC for business and was in a rush to grab a bite I decided to stop in. A limited menu but they are known for their chicken (umm...duh). Ordered the chicken with a biscuit and mash/gravy as a side. Prices were decent for what you got. I despise KFC/Popeyes so this place was a welcomed meal. The chicken was breaded enough but not overly and not oily at all like it's competitors. The mash was good and the gravy had bits of breakfast sausage which was a surprising delite. Tried their iced tea unsweetened which seems to be the staple along with their chicken. It was like any other one I have had. It's a good fast food chicken place. I have been coming here for 15 years and today the service was so horrible I probably wont return. They were so screwed up. They had a girl in the drive taking orders and the person on the other end of the string could not understand chicken biscuit, bacon biscuit and a cup of ice. The order was repeated at least 10 times. We got to the window and the gave me a tea. Not what I ordered. Then the have me a cup of water. Not what I ordered. I always go to this Bojangles and have never been disappointed but this one specific worker needs to fired. ASAP. I ordered and payed when I pulled up to the window and he gave me back my card with the receipt. He gave me the wrong order so I gave it back to him and I told him what my order was. He then states another wrong order. I told him that was still wrong and told him my order again and he caught such an attitude. Next, he tries to charge me $8 and then $6 because he still doesn't understand I ordered a $4 kids meal. I told him I already paid and he said I never swiped your card. I asked why he gave me back my receipt with my card then if he didn't swipe my card. He is still being very rude and disrespectful and when I gave him back the receipt showing that I already paid he crumbles it out and throws it out the window. Bojangles is a guilty pleasure. I don't usually bother with the sides (cajun fries are good, mashed potatoes are indifferent) - I get my chicken, my biscuits, the famous sweet tea, and I'm good to go. Sometimes the chicken is better than the other times, but when it's good, it's really good, as are the biscuits, and I'm not even a biscuit lover. They asked us what drinks we wanted and we told them orange juice. When we went to the window they told is our meal was $18.06. That's pretty expensive for 3 meals in my opinion. I mean At McDonald's you could get three meals for $10. We asked them why it was so high and they said it was because they had to ring up everything separated because of the orange juice? That's a little odd to me but ok. So, once we got our food we started to drive off. As were driving off I decided I would eat my food because I was hungry. But, When I looked in all the bags I was surprised to see that all the combos has fries???? I was expecting bo rounds.
