Tell me why the breading has to be spicy??? There should be an option for either spicy or not spicy but they only have one option. A reasonable lunch at Bojangles. Maybe I've been hearing too many of their commercials and that's been giving me the craving. Regardless, it was easy and fast and convenient. At the counter, I ordered and paid. Moving down the line, everything was already prepared and needed only to be plated up. Dining room was mostly clean. One table had some trash on it and another needed a wiping but the rest was good and my table was clean. Chicken was hot and not greasy. Battered and cooked properly, it was tasty. Woman taking the order at drive through was so rude "order when your ready" "pull up" . After not stating my order total; when i get to the window i asked her what's the total and she mumbled as if she didn't want to tell me. Then I hear her yelling at the customers behind me in the next car . I took a peek inside the restaurant and it was food all over the floor and just dirty. First time visiting North Carolina and everyone's been recommending me to check out this chain. I got the seasoned fries, chicken sandwich, sweet ice tea, coleslaw, and the berry biscuits. I really liked the fries - the cajun seasoning hits the spot. The sandwich was pretty good. I liked the fried chicken which was crispy but had a nice, tender, and juicy meat. The buns were hella buttered though. Coleslaw was pretty good too - just your classic coleslaw with a nice sweet mayo mixture holding together all the pieces of lettuce. The ice tea was good too but nothing too remarkable. I also got 2 berry biscuits and they were nicely layered, buttered, and soft in the inside. First time I have heard of Bojangles was when I was passing through Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson international airport a couple of years ago. Since then, it has been off the radar until that eventful day when I was leaving Raleigh, NC and spotted a Bojangles restaurant near the airport and thought, I could pick something up, pass it through the TSA (which I did successfully), and have dinner on the plane. And so, it came to pass and I ended up here at Bojangles. We certainly do not have a location in HI, so I figured why not? I subsequently learned that Bojangles is only in states in the Southeast and the Atlantic states USA, anchored by Georgia, Florida, along with Maryland and North Carolina in the north and Alabama and Tennessee in the west. It's surprising that it's not a national brand yet, but the similarity of their product rivals that of national heavyweights Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) and Popeyes. I do love Popeyes, but KFC, not so much. And so, it was nice to try the local favorites before hopping on the flight back west towards home. The restaurant set up indeed mimics the entire fast food genre, with many tables and plenty of seats to enjoy whatever you decide to order. Since this was the first time for me, I decided to stick to the basics and not try to overkill myself with a plethora of fast food options. I ended up getting a picnic version of the dirty rice and the picnic version of the Cajun fries, which I probably can safely assume is their cute version of saying "large". It's kind of weird in a cute way, although I'm not being judgey or anything. That's how I roll. The overall experience here at Bojangles was more or less a nice, casual, and pretty cool experience. Haven't been to Bojangles before and now, I have. It's like being in an Olive Garden, especially when you're from a state that doesn't have it. It's all like wow and awesome. I'm sure you folks feel the same way if you vacation in HI. This particular Bojangles restaurant is located at 1000 Claren Circle, in Morrisville, NC. It's very close to the Raleigh Durham regional airport (RDU) and happened to come across it while I was looking for cheap gas to fill my rental car with. The decision to get dinner here and pass it through security was a no-brainer, since I'd be arriving in San Jose, CA at like 9:30pm with a 3 hour time zone change, I'd be jet lagged and sleepy - maybe. They accept major credit cards, which is always a plus in these parts, where credit is kind, and cash only is when their computer register systems go down, which is usually a rare instance these days. While Bojangles can be compared to Popeyes and Kentucky Fried chicken, I thought about trying their fried chicken and biscuits, as they are saying that they are famous for it, I decided not to and would definitely will want to try it next time when I am in the region again for future travel plans. The prices here can be a little expensive, although similar pricing structures in KFC and Popeyes work pretty well. Pricing their chicken at $1 a piece is sometimes good, but sometimes bad, when many of the patrons want more value for their purchase. The parking here is very good, as they have a private parking lot for customers. When you're in the middle of North Carolina, it's safe to assume that you will get a shot of a parking space. Bojangles's food options doesn't differ or glide away from the usual construct of fast food fried chicken and wings type. It's a delicious southern comfort food fare that fancies many people for a quick lunch or dinner that does not amount to much money. They have other options including burgers and desserts, as well as combo packs and family packs that could feed an army of hungry Americans who love this kind of stuff. For what it's worth, I do love the unsweet tea and the sweet tea, since I drink it almost every day at McDonald's and Popeyes while in Honolulu. Good to have them here at Bojangles too. What I did find that the Dirty Rice from Bojangles was really good and am impressed with the mixture of flavors that go into this recipe. It was so good that I should remember having it and have more when I travel again soon. Well, sooner the better. The Cajun fries were decently good, although having them on the Southwest airlines flight and having them cold already didn't do any justice, but it was alright and decent. Next time, I will plan accordingly and have them sooner rather than later. Planning on taste testing them famous chicken and biscuits on my next trip out to the Southeast and see what I have been missing again. Since this is my first time of many I'm sure, this initial visit would have to be a 4.0 star experience. The restaurant itself is clean and quite organized. It reminds me of dining in a Burger King or a Popeyes restaurant set up, although it could've been that before Bojangles took over the property. Who knows? Support local! B read more

I wanted to get some fried chicken to bring back home, so this was the closest spot to the airport. A while back, I saw a friend on fb, posting up Bojangles fried chicken pictures and lauding the tastiness of the product. The fried chicken was better than expected. Maybe I'm used to sub-par fried chicken at home and used to KFC, but this one was pretty good. The chicken (even the breasts) was tender and I like the kick with the spice. There wasn't too much batter or too little. The biscuits were okay, but not fantastic. Service was just average as even when I told servers that this was my first time at a Bojangles, I wasn't really helped out much. read more

I have worked nearby this location for 3 years now, so I have been there many times, and it is amazing to me just how bad the customer service has consistently been in this spot. The staff is beyond unprofessional. Just now, at about 8:30PM on May 31, I had the worst experience I have had yet. The point I would like to make is that the staff at this place clearly does not care one bit about their service, and almost flaunts that "don't care" attitude. I pulled up to the drive-thru, and was asked what I would like to order. I began to say, "Can I please have a 3 piece dinner with fries and a...." and before I could even finish my sentence, she interrupted loudly "3 PIECE DINNER, FRIES, WHAT DRINK?" It was clearly an intentional effort to interrupt me to the amusement of herself and her peers, based on the laughter that came through in the background. There was one person in line in front of me, and the woman working the drive-thru then spent MORE THAN 5 MINUTES just chatting it up with the driver of that white Audi after she had given him the food, even though there were now multiple people waiting in line. I finally pulled up to the window and began to ask her if I could add some seasoning to the fries, and she immediately, in the middle of my asking, turned around to talk to her coworkers and straight up ignored what I was saying. I was so taken aback about the whole thing that I just kind of sat there shocked, and took the food and left. All of this was a clear effort on her part to be frustrating, intentionally, and I do not understand how management at this establishment allows this kind of unprofessional, passive-aggressive behavior, but it is not even the first time I have experienced this at this specific location. To top it all off, and this happens nearly 2 out of 3 times I go there, when I get home and open it, the order was wrong. It is some kind of crazy coincidence just how often this happens here. 3 piece dinner, which shows clearly on the receipt, is not the same as 3 supremes. Fool me twenty times...Shame on me? It is a shame because I do love Bojangles' food when it is the correct item and not cold. I will not be visiting this location again. The bar has been set lower than I thought possible, and it would seem to be an apparent reflection of those who manage this location, because it is the worst Bojangles I have ever been to, without a doubt, every time. read more

I pulled through the drive thru to order and the woman acted like I was taking too long to order, cutting me off every time I spoke. I ordered a 3 piece dinner with chicken strips and honey mustard. Right after I told her I wanted a honey mustard, she told me to pull up to the window and I wasn't even done ordering lol They didn't ask me what size I wanted or what drink I wanted with my order. I ended up getting a warm sweet tea with two pieces of ice in there and cold fries. When I pulled up to the window, two women were gossiping about another girl talking poorly about her appearance to one another. I wasn't even acknowledged or told to have a good day. Nothing. She quickly snatched my debit card swiped it and gave me my food so she could finish her conversation. Went through the drive thru a few days ago. I handed the drive thru worker my credit card to pay for the order. He did not immediately return my credit card - but came back with my drink first and then my food. I had to specifically ask that my credit card be returned. I thought this was odd and concerning and suspected that I would need to monitor my credit card. I have not used this credit card since; however, today I got a fraudulent charge notice on the credit card. Maybe this is a coincidence? Don't expect these Drive-through Jockeys to care or know how to get it right. Having grown up in the South, Bojangles is my first stop when getting back home. The staff provides you with that warm southern hospitality as soon as you walk in. They make the best chicken biscuit. Its chicken fried to perfection, sandwiched between an amazing made-from-scratch buttered biscuit. Compliment it with a side of fries or bo rounds and sweet tea and you have the perfect meal. Have a hang-over? It will take care of that too. Everything they make is good. I wish I could come back more often. read more

Bojangles is a good lunch option for chicken burgers when my favorite fast food chain Chick Fil A is out of the way. The grilled chicken burger is good for fast food quality. The cajun filet was dry and so was the biscuit, like it had been sitting there for a while. For biscuits to taste good, they really do need to be freshly baked. Like with any fast food, Bojangles can be a bit hit and miss. Cajun wrap on whole wheat was very good. The fries are good too and don't taste industrial and overly salty like McDonalds or Burger King. I thought the slaw would be like cole slaw, but it was the clear color type, little bit sour. I love Southern food. Fried chicken, okra, grits, you name it. But the stuff I had here was just nasty. Greasy, fatty chicken that made KFC look gourmet. I couldn't even eat the slaw, it had an odor of... I don't know what...preservative? Artificial flavor? Rancid? I spat it out, I couldn't eat a single bite. We love Bojangles! However this is the first Bojangles that I felt the customer service was just awesome. The ladies at the front were really kind and patient with us as we tried to figure out what we wanted and helped us out when we were confused on the meals. Normally I feel rushed and stupid when I'm unsure of what I want. These ladies did it right. They greeted w smiling faces and remembered me when I returned for more :) The place was clean, the restrooms were too but there was a funky moldy smell in the bathrooms. Professionalism is expected anytime any customer, no excuse. I ordered a little combo and asked for extra seasoning on the side. Not only did they put it on my fries but my fries were completely brown and cold. So I drove my little 10 minutes back not even mad cuz I didn't check my own bag. Manager on duty today 4/18 is at the window, she opened the window as I pulled up with no one behind me. I went to go explain to her "my fries are c--", she cut me off "pull up we'll get them". I just asked for my refund straight up, why would I pull up with no one behind me, you don't even know the issue, let alone how I want my fries.
