Some of the ice has melted but it was quite literally to the top of the cup.

They filled my large soda cup TO THE TOP with ice so my beverage was literally 3 sips. I ordered with a friend and they got a full cup of their beverage with a normal amount of ice. I didn't order a cup of ice with a side of soda! This just shows willful disregard for the customer experience and it really pmo!!!!!!!!!

Before I say this, I love Zaxbys, and will return to other locations, but never this one. I ordered a meal with a birthday cake shake. 20 minutes after I order, I receive the "shake." Really, it's a cup of caramel with some whipped cream on top. I nearly choked, and started gagging. After 50 minutes of waiting for a simple meal, I asked the cashier nicely if there was a mistake or they forgot my order. She responded saying with lots of attitude they were out of fries. Someone who ordered 20 minutes after me got 3 meals, all with fries. I questioned this, and she walked away. It was not busy. A worker came in acting crazy, eyes bloodshot red, screaming while working. Do not come here, unless you want to be ripped off of time and money. Go to other Zaxbys. They are great. Just not this one. Oh, and the ambiance sucked too.

Why yes, I see why this location has a two star rating. Unbelievable! I just waited in a drive-through for 22 minutes. I waited so long in the drive-through that I literally had time to read every sign on the window, learn all about the menu because I was the only person at the window staring into the window for 22 minutes. I'm not sure what happened but after 20 minutes of waiting at the window, mind you I am the only car in the window, I start blowing my horn and one of the people came, I caught this guy earlier, sitting in the window on his cell phone, it was unbelievable that I waited this long at a drive-through. Once the guy came to the window, I asked him what the problem was and why was he had been 20 minutes. His exact words was my bad Bruh. He said that his cooks were really slow. He walked off and four minutes later comes back with cold food. I'm normally the guy that will speak with the manager if I have an issue, but it's so late at night and it's past my bedtime so this review will have to do. I hate giving out stars, but these guys truly deserve it and I see why they are a two star establishment at this point.

Supposed to be Texas TOAST...nothing toasted about it

This location is consistently trash. Either they don't care or can't read because I'm always getting the wrong food. Today my drink and extra sauces are missing. If you're gonna charge for me extra make sure you give them to me. Cold, hard sauceless boneless wings and butter melted on bread. This location is garbage. Had to leave a 1 star...it's really a 0

I have to admit, the commercials on TV sucked me in to try the Spicy Honey BBQ boneless wings meal, plus it's just $5.99. The sauce looked and sounded good so my spouse and I headed over. First of all, the cashier was super friendly and patient with us. I've only been to Zaxby's a handful of times and their menu seems to be in a smaller print than I can see easily, so it takes me a while (or have my eyes gotten that bad?!). They have several $5.99 specials right now to choose from. I got the spicy honey BBQ boneless wings that come with fries, Texas toast, celery and ranch dressing And a drink. Now that's a deal! My spouse got the same deal only with chicken tenders. I think they also had a sandwich option and maybe another of some sort for the same price. Again - deal! The sauce on the boneless wings had a little too much kick for me and the chicken itself was a bit over fried. My spouse liked her tenders enough to say she'd get them again and she's not that into the tenders. She choose teriyaki sauce, which she didn't care for, but I did. Next time! The dining area is a pretty good size and seems to be well taken care of, clean, tidy. The one thing I notice with any of their locations, no matter what time of year I visit, it's freezing cold in there! What's up with that?! I'm sure it's darn hot in the kitchen and cooler is comfortable for them, but for the customer - NOT! Maybe next time I'll take the food to go.

I went to Zaxby's this pass weekend to satisfy my brother's craving for chicken and to my surprise he chose Zaxby's + I was grateful that he did because I had a coupon. When I arrived in the restaurant my immediate thought was WOW! This is nice. The store was extremely clean and things were in place. There was nothing on the floors just an overall clean Restaurants. The bathroom were just as clean. When I approached the counter the cashier was really nice + sweet and she seemed really happy to help me. I gave her my coupon and she didn't know how to put it in so they had to call a manager. He didn't seem to thrilled about my coupon and he kind of had an attitude which is why I took away one star. But the actual staff was amazing. Our food came out extremely fresh. I ended up ordering the wings + things and the chicken finger plate and I would have paid about $21 dollars but with my coupon it came down to $14 which was pretty good. We ended up dining in and there were plenty of places to sit. The parking lot is great as well. There was some trash out there that someone just put on the ground from their car but other than that everything was fantastic. Overall this is by far the best Zaxby's I have been too. And I would definitely go back

After growing up eating Raising Cane's chicken fingers, this is the driest chicken I've ever had. I'm not mad, just disappointed.

I ordered the tacos and they were missing the sauce. Needless to say I was disappointed as I had to eat dry tortilla.

First and last time coming to this location. Although staff seemed nice. It took 20 min to receive a grilled Cobb salad.

They were in the process of training a new hire at the time, so the line took some time to move through, but I still got my food pretty quickly. I ordered the harvest crunch vegetable which had all of my favorites - the mushrooms were so flavorful and my favorite part. The only two critiques I had was that 1) I asked for half/half rice and romaine and my bowl had way too much romaine, it really overpowered all of the other ingredients that came in the bowl and 2) the tofu was not my favorite - it wasn't crispy or as flavorful as I would like it, so that's something for the plant-based community to keep in mind. That said, I imagine all of the other animal-based proteins taste better! If their tofu was improved, I would absolutely return to try some of their other unique bowl combos.

I got a wheat wrap with some steak, spinach, and mushrooms, while my wife got a mixed grain bowl with chicken and bacon. We were both very happy with our meals, and while the food wasn't cheap (about $15 a person), I didn't feel ripped off either. The website mentioned that the ingredients were high quality and that the dressings were made in house, and it definitely tasted like it! Overall, I'd definitely come back here to get a healthy meal.

Service is very friendly, and as quick as possible, considering that stuff seems to be made to order. I ordered a chicken kebab platter which comes over a bed of basmati rice, possibly with saffron. Whatever the rice tasted great and it wasn't dry like at a lot of places. The chicken was marinated in a tangy yogurt-spice mix, grilled and topped with a tahini sauce. Delicious! As sides I got mujadara and roasted vegetables which were also tasty. I'll be back for takeout for sure in the future.

"Bodega-like Mediterranean Grill & Grocery in Parkwood area of Durham"…read more This place is WAY off the beaten path for most, but I'm so happy to have gotten to try it out. Nestled in a little strip between a Muslim school and a mosque is this grill and grocery. We came on a Wednesday evening, and almost every table was already taken by diners. You order your food at a counter, and it has the Middle Eastern foods you'd expect-- kofta, shawarma, gyros, falafel, baba ghanouj, hummus, baklava, etc. I opted for the lamb gyro sandwich with a side of baba ghanouj, and my dining partner had the falafel sandwich. They call your number when it's ready. Food took maybe 10 minutes to receive, so we browsed the market area. It's not a huge selection, but very traditional-- nice seeing so many labels in Arabic, and along with standards (e.g., canned fava beans for Ful Medames), they also had things like frozen chopped mulukhiyah leaves-- that's definitely a rarer sight. Lots of good spices too. The food was EXCELLENT. The lamb was juicy and perfect (unlike what another Yelp review said), the tzatziki sauce was delicious, and the baba ghanouj was perfectly cooked and textured. I had a small bite of the falafel, and it was indeed one of the best I've had in the US. Price was fair, too-- the sandwiches are all under $10 before tax and tip, and making it a combo with side and drink cost just something like $2.50. And service was friendly-- although they called out numbers, they did walk out with the food to try to find and bring you your dishes. And while it was an older space, it was overall still generally clean. Overall, I'd VERY happily come back.

I almost didn't go, because I thought this was the downtown Durham restaurant, which is nice, but parking nightmare. Glad I went, though. The food was solid. I had the fired chicken sandwhich and fries the first day, a buffalo chicken wrap the second day, and the smoked chicken wings the third day, yes, 3 in a row. That has to say something, especially for me. All lunch items were pretty spot on, although I like a little more vinegar in my slaw than most. That was remedied by the texas pete on the bar. The service staff were all hands on. If the bartender was not there, the manager or a back of the house person was always checking on me. Very nice staff. As far as the ambiance itself, nice setup. Good sized bar, nice big patio, clean indoor and restrooms... all in all, I could not ding them for anything. I need to go to check out the weekend brunch or dinner menu. I am sure that I will not be disappointed, however, I have been told to get to brunch before noon, as it gets very busy, also a good thing. Cheers. :)

Even better surprise: the patio was wide open and dog-friendly. Immediate bonus points. Service was great. She was friendly, attentive, and helpful with recommendations without being overbearing. I had the Shrimp & Grits, which came with plenty of large shrimp and really rich, flavorful grits. Definitely a solid choice. My date ordered the Blackstone Benedict -a sort of ham, poached eggs, and hollandaise, with breakfast potatoes and gluten-free bread. She was genuinely thrilled with it, which is saying something as she is a hollondaise stickler. By the time we were leaving, a line had started to build, so if you're planning a weekend brunch here, I'd recommend getting there on the earlier side. Parking is easy (big lot), and there's a grocery store right next door, which is surprisingly convenient. Overall, just a really easy, enjoyable brunch spot with good food, great service, and a relaxed vibe. We'll be back.

The coffee options were plentiful, with options for whatever your preferences may be whether you're more of a coffee enthusiast looking for lighter roast to taste all the notes, or enjoy more flavored and decadent drinks. One thing that was an incredibly exciting surprise the last time I went were the whole beans they had for sale from Fritz Coffee (imported from Korea im pretty sure). I had to grab a bag despite them being a bit pricey as they were freshly roasted too (price was expected for something like that). A slight down point for me though was the food, got a couple chocolate chip cookies and they were very much not worth it.
