The drive-through is slow. I had to ask for a receipt and when I got my sandwich with no mayonnaise, this is what it looks like. They put mayonnaise on both sides of the bun and slathered it down between the tomatoes and the meat. There's so so much mayo on the sandwich I couldn't even clean it to eat it and I was down the road before I even opened it and found out what a horrible job they did. This had to be intentional. How do you put Mayo in three different places on a sandwich when someone calls for no Mayo? I don't trust the store anymore. Don't eat here. read more

This review is for the Bojangles location at the Love's Truck Stop west of Mobile Alabama. It seems I'm out on this end of town a lot lately, in fact, this entire week, I ended nearly every night out that way. And after driving around town all day, sometimes I just want to go to the most convenient place on my way home. And this is how I tried Bojangles. I'm a big fan of good fried chicken, probably more than my doctor thinks I should be. There's just something quintessentially American about fried chicken that takes me back to a simpler time in my life, and it's most likely that notion that drives my opinion of fried chicken in general. Since moving to the Deep South, I've tried all kinds of fried chicken, and I have certain opinions about my favorite chicken, and strong opinions about whose chicken is absolutely not good. So I walked into Bojangles, and for the record I'd tried them before, but there was quite a line and I almost skipped it altogether, but then I'd have to stop somewhere else, and I was already out of the car, so I settled on being there despite what looked like it could be a long wait time. The place was not dirty, but it definitely wasn't clean either. The soda machine area was a complete disaster and the tables and floor looked like they hadn't been cleaned in quite a while. But they seemed to be quite busy, so I could partially forgive that. I waited in that line for the better part of twenty minutes before I got to the counter and had my order taken. Again, I can partially forgive that, because they were busy. What isn't forgivable was that the crew seemed entirely uncommitted to their job and that they seemingly had no ability to work as a team to get it done. When they took my order, I ordered a three piece meal with a biscuit, Mac & cheese, and mashed potatoes, with a lemonade to drink. Easy, right? You would think so. But I waited easily another 20 minutes for my food, and when I checked it, they gave me someone else's food, and had given my food to them. So they remade mine, which took another five minutes. But they're busy and things happen, right? So they give me the correct order and all I'm thinking about is that home is still twenty minutes away, and that I should be there by now. So I take my food and I go, because I'm just ready to be home. Now, I know I have a twenty minute drive to get there, and I get home as soon as I can, and when I do, I gather my food and other things in the car and go into the house. I take a quick photo of this food for the review, and sit down to eat. I look at the three pieces of chicken they gave me, and they must have been the smallest pieces in the batch. There wasn't a lot of meat on them. And I remember that their chicken had somewhat of a kick to it, but this was a lot spicier than I remembered it being. I have stomach and blood pressure issues, so I tend to avoid spicy food for the most part unless I find myself in Santa Fe eating Chile Releno. (If you know, you know.) The biscuit was hard and barely edible, the Mac & Cheese was dry and didn't have a lot of flavor, and the potatoes were okay, but clearly an instant variety instead of the real deal. (The gravy was pretty darn amazing, I must admit.) If the twenty minute drive home diminished the quality of this food, then that's on me, but I have a feeling based on other factors that the experience would have been sub par either way. Maybe it was just an off day for them, or maybe it wasn't. Who knows? But I'm not sure I'll be trying this location again. The whole experience just didn't sit right with me. read more

My trip to Bojangles was honestly terrible from start to finish. The service felt chaotic, like no one knew what they were doing, and I stood at the counter for several minutes before anyone even acknowledged me. When my food finally came out, it looked and tasted like it had been sitting around forever. The chicken was dry, the fries were limp and barely warm, and the biscuit--supposedly their big selling point--was so hard it could've doubled as a paperweight. The restaurant itself didn't help the situation. The floor felt sticky, the tables were dirty, and there was a lingering smell that made me question whether I should even stay. I left feeling frustrated, disappointed, and honestly a little nauseous. I don't usually leave negative reviews, but this visit was rough enough that I'd strongly hesitate to come back. read more

No chicken at 8 pm , tell you the drive tru. is closed but you can go in and Oder. Never said no chicken till I get inside. Second time this happened with no Chicken 2 hours before closing. Needs management improvements. Will not recommend this place to anyone. I'm not going back there. read more

Oh Bojangle's, how I miss you. This is the closest location to me, which is not saying much since its a couple of hours away from me. It was a nice stopping point on my way to doing something else. I got the sausage biscuit and sweet tea. It was exactly as I remembered it being. On the way back, I got fries and a soda, and the fries were exactly as I remembered. I will be back. It may be a minute, but I love you. This is attached to a Love's truck stop and does have a drive thru. Customer service was just ok. read more

I know they are 'New' but they are NOT short staffed like the others are. 20 minutes and they didn't give us the biscuits and gravy that my husband ordered. This is the third mess up since opening. Three strikes you're out. The food is De-Lish!! read more

I don't like leaving bad reviews for businesses but something has to be done. Every single time I visit this location between 9 and 9:30pm I'm told they are out of chicken. Tonight, it was we are out of everything but wings....how does a chicken place run out of chicken every week....When I do manage to actually get food I get old food. It's hard or cold and never fresh especially if it's at night. I emailed corporate the last time this happened but here we are again going through the same thing! I absolutely love bojangles as do my kids but until something changes with the night shift staff and they are held accountable for their aweful customer service ill take my money somewhere else. read more

This is the worst Fried chicken I have ever had. I ordered a 12 piece chicken Tender box with 6 biscuits. When I got home I had received an 8 piece of bone-in chicken order and the chicken was so bad we had to throw it away. The place wasn't very busy so it was just a lack of concern for the customer and I live over 10 miles from the restaurant so I wasn't going to take it back, besides I would probably end up with another order that we couldn't eat.
