This Cook Out is drive-through only. It is the standard two-lane layout, one on each side of the building. The only downside to this location is that the site is very tight and difficult to negotiate. Be very careful when entering and stick to the right, or else you might end up going the wrong way in one of the service lanes.

August 7, 2026 @ 3:30PM…read more Dear Five Guys Management, I am writing to share an experience my family had today at your North Hills location. Earlier today, I had surgery, so I sent my son into your restaurant to pick up lunch for our family while I remained in the car. He ordered three cheeseburgers and a large order of fries for me, my son, and my daughter. While checking him out, the employee at the register commented, "That's a lot of food. It's enough for three to four people." My son replied, "It is for three people." Although the employee may not have intended any harm, the comment implied that my son was purchasing all of the food for himself. While shaming him- it was embarrassing, unnecessary, and hurtful. Comments about how much food someone is buying or eating can easily be interpreted as judgments about their body or eating habits. My son left feeling embarrassed, and as his mom, it was upsetting to hear that someone serving, paying, repeat, customers would make a personal remark about a purchase that had nothing to do with them. I'm not someone who typically writes complaints, but I felt this was important to bring to your attention. I hope this can serve as a reminder to your staff that comments about customers' food choices or the quantity they purchase are best left unsaid. A simple, friendly transaction is all that's needed. I hope this feedback will help prevent another customer from having a similar experience. Or, serve as a reminder for people to reevaluate where they give business too, especially if you're a customer who is sensitive to body shaming and judgment. Not to mention: when we got home, we realized your employee only put two burgers in the bag, when my son ordered three. A $50 lunch should come with three burgers, a bag of fries, and good customer service--- not an embarrassing comment that leaves a customer feeling judged. I hope this experience serves as a reminder that kindness costs nothing, and EVERY customer deserves it. As someone who shares local businesses and experiences with over 200,000 followers on TikTok as @iam_ericaann, I don't leave negative reviews lightly. I would much rather recommend great customer service than write about an experience like this. Erica Ann

The food itself isn't the issue -- it's the customer service that left a bad taste. I ordered the…read moreButtery Parmesan Chicken sandwich with no tomato. What arrived at my table was a burger, completely wrong order, tomato included. When I brought it to the counter to have it corrected, instead of a simple apology and a swap, I was met with interrogation. A staff member began asking me to essentially prove that my order was wrong, requesting a specific part of the packaging before she'd agree to fix it. She then walked back to our table with me to inspect the receipt and my family's food for herself. I've never in my life had to prove that a restaurant made an error on my order in order to get it corrected. I was polite and even smiled when I took the receipt and the wrong order back to the counter and asked for a correction. The person who responded instantly made me a suspect. I guess, I forgot what part of the South I was in. The correct sandwich did eventually arrive, but by that point the experience had already soured the meal entirely. I won't be returning to this location.
