I opted for the burnt ends sandwich on Texas toast ( recommended by our server Katy instead of the bun) which was a great choice. The meat was super tender, great smoke and kissed with a little bbq and those luscious caramelized onions. I decided on side of collard greens and mac 'n cheese. Hubby had the Texas Trinity which consisted of ribs, sliced brisket and sliced jalapeño cheese sausage link served with the best hush puppies and he decided on sides of collard greens and sweet potato casserole. Note, sorry the brisket was almost devoured before I could take the pic. Everything was seasoned to perfection! The brisket and jalapeño cheese sausage was the best he's had since leaving Texas in 2006; so good in fact that he ordered 2 additional links to go! With bellies full, took the delicious peach cobbler to-go...YUM! Another thing that will bring me back besides the food, I love that they employee our young people to give them real life work experience. #Teens Need Jobs! And it's a very family friendly environment.

So good we needed a box. 3 meats tray with 3 sides. Perfectly chopped and flavorful barbque no sauce needed but a top of red slaw and sauce is how we like it. Pork Spare Ribs were delish with smoke flavor ordered dry and put our own sauce. Brisket delicious with full flavor. We chose kickin collard greens and baked beans, got a sample of the red slaw and then asked for a full side as we use a topper too! Cornbread was like a sweet cake. All was so delish that we couldn't finish and boxed it up and topped the sides for another meal later today. Thanks to all on Yelp who gave great reviews and I can see why! Yum!

I was very pleasantly informed that I should've looked on Facebook, then I would've known the restaurant was closing early. That's not something I do when deciding on where I want to dine, but, lesson learned We ordered the "starter sampler" for an appetizer, which consisted of collard green dip with pita chips, fried green tomatoes, and deviled eggs with bacon jam! It was delicious!!!! For our entrees, we ordered the Collard Green Grilled Cheese, with seasoned fries, and the Southern Bowl. We also ordered Sweet Tea, and Signature Lemonade, both were good! But no free refills on the lemonade....The Collard Green Grilled Cheese was phenomenal, well seasoned greens, with smoked Gouda cheese on perfectly grilled buttered Texas Toast!!!! WOW!!!! The fries were hot and not overly seasoned!! The Southern Bowl was awesome, the grits were cheesy and creamy, topped with collard greens, and 2 perfectly seasoned fried flounder fillets! If I HAD to complain about something, it would be that there was just a tad too much "pot liquor" in my bowl and nothing to sop it up with‍ Fleming Street Bakery & Southern Cuisine is a great place to enjoy great food. Seating is limited, so timing can be everything! They have a different menu for Sundays, so be sure to check them out on Facebook before you go.

The food arrived hot and fresh and our server was friendly and checked on us often, though she appeared to be the only server for dining in patrons. I will definitely be back!

Absolutely fantastic find. Salisbury really needed a restaurant like this! The server was great,…read morereally taking pride in what she does. Incredibly informative about the menu, friendly, thorough, and completely elevated the experience. I can't remember her name but she said she just celebrated her one year anniversary working there. The chef, Kyle, came to our table to discuss a food allergy of someone in our party and came back multiple times to talk to us. He was GREAT, and we could really tell he was experienced and loves what he does. What we got: Milk Bread - 100/10.... I could've eaten the whole thing myself. I would love to get ahold of this recipe... and the homemade butter. Oysters - 10/10 I was reluctant because of the past reviews, but they were outstanding. Some of the best oysters I've ever had in my life. Had a Bloody Mary seasoning. Chicken wing special - 100/10 wow and wow. I could've also eaten all six of these by myself. I held back ordering a second round. Tomahawk steak - 10/10 the flavor on this was unlike anything I have ever tasted before. Perfectly cooked and worth the price. The creamed spinach side that comes with the steak was also glorious. The potatoes that came with it were not my favorite, but they did the job. Cabbage special - 100/10 this may have been my favorite thing we ate all night. Unfortunately, the portion was not that big and I really wish there were more for the price. . It was outstanding. Panna cotta dessert - 8/10 I'm not a big dessert person so this was nice because it was not overly sweet and very light. The overall experience was wonderful. It was relaxed, we did not feel rushed. Atmosphere 10 out of 10. Service 10 out of 10. Food 9.999 out of 10. Steep price tag, but it was well worth it and we can't wait to come back when we visit again next year.

The inside is very clean and countryfied in their decor, and the people who work here are very friendly and positive people. When you go there and are seated, you feel like you're a regular. It's hard to choose from the menu, because it's huge. The last time I went, I brought my grandson and we both decided right off that we will have breakfast. We are huge breakfast lovers. We chose what we wanted and ordered, our drinks came out and the food followed fast. Everything was perfect. They have some of the absolute best pancakes ever. I should've ordered the short stack (two pancakes) but I ended up ordering the large one by mistake. No worries, it was still fabulous. Lots of pecans and the fluffiest pancakes I've ever had. Grandson ordered the meat lovers omelette and said it was the best one he's ever had. There was an almost unbelievable amount of meat in that omelette. I took a small bite and it was very good. We've had other things in the past, their eggs Benedict are superior as well as their hash browns. Before you go, do not neglect the dessert cabinet by the register. They make a fabulous rainbow cake.

My grandmother had the marinated chicken with a baked potato and salad. We both ended up sending our meals back to order something else. Her chicken was dry and tough, and my ribeye was the toughest ribeye I have ever eaten. The salads and baked potatoes were very good. We then ordered chicken quesadillas, which were mediocre at best. The service was awful. We could not even tell who our waitress was because after taking our order, we never saw her again. Someone else brought the food. I had to get up and find someone to address the issues with the steak and chicken. No one apologized, except the cashier, who was very kind and polite. The manager was seated in a booth with other waitresses and never bothered to come by or apologize for either the food or the service. This was my third time at Rockwell Diner, and it will be my last, which is unfortunate because I like to support local businesses. The first time, the food was good, but the service was less than stellar. The second time, the food was just okay and the service still was not good. Today was the final straw.
